Destiny 2 should time skip 100+ years into the future so they can make a brand new campaign from scratch with only brief references to the original horrible campaign. Did you see the dlc pre orders we can buy separately? Only $20 for some emotes. It won't be long until gally and the other god weapons are left in the dust and are outdated by "year 1" limitations. With more dlc and a never ending level cap increase, unless they let ppl upgrade everything to "year 2" gally will be crapped on I bet.

It does seem a bit ridiculous to buy the entire core game and previous expansions again just to unlock some emotes. Pretty ballsy of the of the bungie employee to assume everyone will pay that much just for a couple emotes. If they threw gjallahorn and hawkmoon into that package they'd have probably gotten some larger sales.

This makes me pleased. If this is the case in the larger non TDM fights also, then this will be a great feature to the game IMO. I kept complaining about expert pilots in the battlefield games doing nothing but jets. This will let everyone have vehicle time without being always one sided by experts.

I agree with you on that. The other problem I have with SE is that I enjoyed the old school final fantasy games and when I saw they were releasing new versions of some classics in steam I was very excited for some good turn based combat.. and then I saw the games and they were all remastered with character models for children. I pretty much hate children and these re-releases look like crap to me. I think SE did a good job with real time combat in FF12. Unlike ff13, there was no cutaway to a combat screen. All the encounters happened with in the same exploreable area and it got rid of random encounters because all enemies were visible from some distance. Honestly tho, our generation of gamers are going to be shit all over in the near future. The new generation of gamers are all trained to be adhd by their parents who give them their tablet or smart phone and let them play endless f2p games that are all time gated at 5 mins or less of enjoyment. As they keep running out of time they move on to the next game. I've seen this first hand with plenty of relatives and friend's kids. They no longer have the attention span to actually enjoy a RPG. They'd all rather dump $20 into a f2p tablet game with crap graphics for 30 mins of enjoyment than pay that same money for a game with a solid plot that could entertain them for weeks. F2p games are the new Crack for children, rivaling sugar, snacks and soda. With games like clash of clans, game of war, and numerous others making $1-5 million per day, all game companies will eventually cater to that market now.

I don't think we'll get that style of rpg combat anymore on AAA games. SE has moved away from it in all the FFXIII games. Probably as a bridge to get traditional rpg gamers into a real time combat system to get them comfortable and prepared for a MMORPG environment. I bet we'll see all the turn based rpgs going straight to mobile phones and hand held systems from now on. My fear for this game is if they remove the airship freedom. I loved flying all over the planet and landing anywhere I wanted. If they take that away and give us a generic menu of places to choose from like in FFX I will be extremely pissed.

This news makes me even more pleased. I had over 999 hours in the original game before the timer stopped keeping track. I would much rather experience the game in a new way than replay the exact same game again. And the points the guy makes ate true. It would seem so surreal to see fully realistic characters standing in a line while everyone takes turns attacking each other.

I'm still going to have to pass on it all tho. Too many other games are coming out this year that will leave me broke as it is. Still no mention of match making raids.. once september comes around, I'm sure the weekly nightfall and heroic will have their base lowest level raised which means I'll pretty much be done with the game once the new expansion hits.

Square Enix is finally giving us what it's fans have wanted for so long.. I'm so happy. They sold FFXIII and it's sequels on all consoles, once Square finally started selling their old Final Fantasy games on steam they quickly started releasing more on steam, including FFXIII. I'm guessing they make a good profit off their PC sales thru them, compared to running crappy sales on their own website and running their own drm. I will by this for PS4 on launch.

That chainsaw.. damn. I loved Doom when I was a kid, I'd like to give this game a shot. I remember when Quake came out and put Doom to shame, I wonder if a company will remake that next.

Things I'm looking forward to: The Division. I want more gameplay.. specifically PS4 gameplay. I don't want to see max graphics PC gameplay like the Watchdogs trailers, just to get the game a year later on PS4 and not have it look nearly as impressive. Star Wars: Battlefront. I need some gameplay for this. I read that the player count will be capped at 40 players per map. Seeing as the same game engine could handle 64 players on BF4 on PS4, I'm going to assume we'll get more star wars vehicles and possibly AI grunts in the matches. I really hope the air combat is no where near the same as in BF4.. Piloting in BF4 was fun at first, but then it was nothing but ace pilots that know exactly what they are doing.. even being a moderate pilot, I lost all interest in flying. I hope there is a common ground for flying that lets normal, not obsessed players actually enjoy flying in the game. Uncharted 4. I'm going to pick up the remaster trilogy and with the new tomb raider being timed exclusive to xbox 1, Uncharted will have huge sales on PS4 and is poised to be amazing. MGSV. I was very disappointed with MGS3 and I never had the chance to play MGS4. For all we know, this could be the last big MGS game made. With the production value on it being so high, I think this game could steal the show. Rise of the Tombraider (Tombraider 2). Even tho it will be a timed xbox 1 exclusive, I want to see gameplay, because once this comes out on PS4, I'll pick it up ASAP. Guild Wars 2: Heart of Thorns. This expansion will be huge. So many new subclasses, new species to interact with, new campaign, mastery and trait system.. and like DX said.. FASHION! I want some new armor that looks epic on charr, with no floating back pieces. x_x And maybe a new underboob garmet for norn and human females of all armor types. Things I'd like to see but probably wont... Final Fantasy XV. This game looks great and iffy at the same time.. No playable women characters means I'll have to keep staring at bishies whenever I play, but the mechanics of it look amazing.. but the game has been in development for so damn long now I doubt square enix will actually continue stand alone FF RPGs after this. I'm already sucked into Guild Wars 2 and I don't have the time for numerous MMORPGs.. but I love single player RPGs. Watchdogs 2. They might announce a sequel.. that would be nice. As for God of War, I liked them at first.. but the last game was so gory it felt like I was playing a mash up of God of War and the Saw movies.
