I'm more impressed by the Cinematic trailer than I am by the actual gameplay. Blizzard can surprisingly make Pixar quality movies. The game looks like a fun FPS multiplayer with heroes like a MMOBA game. I hope they do more with this game than just make a competitive shooter. I'd love to see a single player / co-op campaign. Skill based match making seems good, it would also stop alot of the killstreaks. If everyone is evenly matched in skill hardly anyone will even reach the 3rd killstreak bonus. The majority of COD players I've seen love region based only connections with no skill matching because they get to play against the exact same newbs over and over again busting out all their killstreaks.. and when a single player with skill actually gets in the same round, then they all start swearing like 12 year old boys that just hit puberty. But with skill based match making, then all those lag switchers with their 12.0 K/D will all be getting teamed up to fight each other in a never ending lag fest. lol. Thats probably all the lag issues all the hard core players keep complaining about. I'll get on some BF4 tomorrow. I'd like to try out that chain link game mode, domination, conquest, or whatever. The last DLC (Dragon's Teeth) disappointed me for conquest tho. Those 4 maps had the least amount of vehicles in all of BF4 for conquest. Have either you been able to get a single hit with the AA mine? I hope those got buffed since the last time I played because it was the most pointless gadget in BF4.

Eugene was a liar. That caught me by surprise. I've been good about not looking up any spoilers or reading any of the comics so far. I liked the idea of a mission. But after seeing how he and Abraham met, I doubt I'd have believed him myself. Poor Abraham tho, it was all he was living for. Now they'll be better off backtracking to the church. I'm wondering about Abraham's hand tho. Sure its been bloody, but what if zombie's blood or saliva got into that open wound of his.. hmm. I wouldn't be surprised if they killed Eugene. You could almost tell that he shot up their vehicle's fuel tank last season because of the way he looked when he walked away. And with him putting broken glass in the fuel, hes put everyone's lives in danger for no reason for too long. The talking dead had a preview for the next episode that looked significant. Daryl and Carol burning a Beth sized body in an open fire at what looks like the outside of the hospital. Seemed like a significant spoiler for the episode. Only 3 episodes left. -
The biggest problem with self hosted multiplayer is lag switching. I experienced this enough in BO2 that I lost interest in playing any more COD until it has dedicated servers. This works exactly the same way while playing CoD: Advanced Warfare and any other self hosted multiplayer like Tomb Raider or The Last of Us. When the person lag switches, everyone on their screen shows up as a 1 red ping connection with him having full bars, but for everyone else that one guy is the only person with a 1 red ping and the best K/D ratio in the game. This is so common that if 1/4 of all CoD players are using a lag switch it could cause the entire multiplayer portion of the game to break with insane lag like it is now. It doesn't matter what Sledgehammer does on their end because they can't control the individual lag on all the player's systems. They could make some changes to their lag compensation, but it'll still give you hit markers all over the place and player induced lag.

The thing ppl don't realize is that is how cod has always played. The more ppl that experience games with full dedicated servers like bf4 and destiny, that will be the quality they will then expect. Until cod developers actually make a new game engine that finally uses dedicated servers they will always have these problems.

Next time it has a free weekend on steam I'll try it. The last free weekend for ghost was back in February I think.

I stopped doing the daily bounties on destiny weeks ago and even before then I'd do maybe a couple a day. I wouldn't mind paying bf4 again. Its been a while for me and my brother told me the chain link mode is pretty fun. I'd like to try that out. I'm finally level 28 in destiny and I feel like the game forces you to get to at least that level in a team of 6 to do the raid. I'd like to beat it because it is there but it feels like you have to master the game to stand a chance in it. I can't even beat the nightfall because I don't know every nook and cranny to stand at to take advantage of the environment to be able to win. I just don't have that much dedication. If I ever get into a group attempting it I'll try it again tho. Two ppl on my friends list have beaten it already. Avolanty did it earlier this week. He said he got 3 exotics this week already from the raid and nightfall. If the new raid requires everyone to be level 32 with all new armor I won't even attempt that. I'll wait until the next expansion that will probably raise it to 34 and maybe get that armor then go back and walk thru vog. I've been playing gw2 alot in the last 2 weeks and I'm only 6% map completion on it still. Lol. The new cod looks like black ops 2 imo. I watched my brother stream the pvp. Hit detection still seemed off because he shot a couple guys in the chest with a shotgun and didn't even get a hit marker in one round. And the guy with the best k/d is the person with the 1 red ping connection. I told him to let me know when he streams the campaign because I'm not interested in the multiplayer.

Your luck is ridiculous. Did you get the weekly heroic done yet strider? I have a four day weekend starting Friday. If either of you want to get on send me a text. I should be home almost the entire weekend with free time.

3 PS4 games this month. Even though the video shows only 2, Escape Plan is free on PS4 as well because I just added it to my account on sony's site. Binding of Isaac is a good time killer. I got it in a humble bundle years ago and for some reason I find it enjoyable. Probably because its good to play if you only have 5 or 10 minutes to spare. Its an actual YOLO game. If you die, you loose all progress.

I haven't had the chance to reply to this topic immediately in the last couple weeks while the show was fresh in my mind. From last week, I had a feeling Bob was bitten. Its a bit of a shame that we'll never know if those guys would have turned from eating the tainted meat or not. But man that slaughtering scene at the end was brutal. Poor Bob. This episode.. I wondered why Beth didn't invite the doctor in the escape.. but after her conversation with the guy it made sense. He used her for murder. Hes just as bad as everyone else. And then Carol shows up!? I have a feeling that when Daryl and Carol went chasing after that car, something bad went down and those ppl grabbed Carol. And with the amount of time from when the two of them left to go chase the car and Daryl returned with somebody in the bushes. My guess is that he found the guy Beth was trying to escape with. Maybe the next goal for Rick and some of the others will be to return to Atlanta to save the two women. All this time I thought they made a bit of distance from Atlanta, but they must still be a quick car ride from it.

I friended those couple of guys yesterday so our pool of potential players for vog are up. And it does seem that more ppl are inviting for vog in the tower too.

Sounds good to me. I'll be on later to buy patience and time to test it out. If nobody else is on I'll probably switch back to gw2 to farm some more trick or treat bags.

Holy crap you are lucky. I promised my brother I'd get him into the last part of the bloody prince fight so he could save a corn cob by not buying the mini needed to enter the area in gw2 tonight. It worked out good for him and he got a halloween pail. I'll be getting on destiny for a bit tomorrow after work. I hope xur has something good. And I still need to do the weekly heroic. Turns out that video I posted is a destiny glitch. Someone replied on YouTube and let me know. It's usually followed by getting kicked to orbit.

I tested Share Play tonight on the PS4 with my brother. The results are interesting. First off, you make a party. You then click on the share play icon. One person selects to be the host and the other has to connect as a guest. You have to have a decent upload speed. My brother and I both have 5 mbps up and he got an error at first saying the speed was too slow to connect. But after a couple attempts he was able to connect to my PS4. As the host I saw no change on my screen. I loaded up Destiny and he saw everything I saw as if I was streaming. At any point during the game I could give him control by clicking on the Playstation button, going to the party, click on his name and select the option to hand the controller to him. And just like that he was playing my game and I had no controller input. I made sure to tell him not to go into my inventory because if he destroyed by ice breaker for weapon parts I'd kill him. lol. His aim was all over the place and he was complaining about the sensitivity. Everything looked fine to me tho. And Destiny glitched like a bastard for him but that might have been related to the latest Destiny patch. Destiny does not have a local co-op so we weren't able to play it together. Something like Little Big Planet or Call of Duty with a split screen 2 player option should work fine though. The share play connection was limited to 1 hour. We tested this by having him disconnect at around the 10 minutes remaining mark and when he joined back it had the time left at around 9:50 or so.. We figured out the time limit is on the host. So I turned off shareplay, turned it back on and had him reconnect and just like that the 1 hour was completely reset without having to turn any game off. Next I tried connecting to his PS4. Once I connected to his share play, I noticed something that he was talking about.. I saw a generic Playstation screen saying that the host was not in a game and I had to wait. Once he loaded up Killzone I saw it loading on my screen. The graphics took a noticeable hit to me. I've seen clips of Killzone that look great, but I was experiencing almost a Netflix low quality kind of issue. After a while it started clearing up but it never looked crisp. It might have been an issue with our connection or his upload speed. He didn't have the co-op dlc so we couldn't try it at the same time, so I gave me the controller and my god I noticed the lag immediately. It was the same kind of issue I experienced while Streaming Borderlands over Steam on my own network, except much worse. The lag over my own network was still playable. But the input lag I experienced trying to play Killzone on his PS4 felt like a full 1/4 to half a second. For a FPS game it makes it almost unplayable to my because of the accuracy issue. It wasn't that Destiny had too much sensitivity for my brother, it was that he was getting lag also because my shooting on Killzone was just like him on Destiny.. we both kept over shooting and over aiming the target. I think Share Play will work good for games that don't require very fast input responses and have a low frame rate.. Something like a FPS game would not be good for this.

Wow.. I tried share play today and I don't know if this Destiny glitch is a result of the recent patch or if this was caused somehow by share play.. Go to the 1 minute mark.. wtf.
