With the SharePlay feature being limited to a max of 1 hour and you can't use your own PS4 while someone else is remote playing it, the best feature of SharePlay to me would be to let a friend try out a game to see if they're interested in buying it as a kind of demo. Or if you are in an annoying point in a game that you just can't beat, you can let a friend try to beat that area for you. Sources: Kotaku & Gamespot Click here to view the article

These two clips show off Blizzard's PS4 version of Diablo III and how they improved the controller interface and the new features made just for the consoles. I like the nemisis and apprentice features. This post has been promoted to an article

The mechanics look good, but I hope the co-op is the actual story mode and not a co-op zombie horde mode.. With the parkour in this game, I could see 4 players easily loosing track of where each other are in the frenzy of zombies. This post has been promoted to an article

The mortar and UCAV is a great combo for getting long distance kills.

I uploaded 3 videos of my experience with P.T. Here they are if anyone is interested in seeing what it is like: I never got to see the ending that is on YouTube and I have no idea how anyone could have gotten it unless it was random chance. Some of the things in this teaser definitely seemed to be randomly generated because some people have played it and never got killed. Well, I got killed once, saw a few ghosts and even got a strange white screen with a message which caused an intentional soft reset of the game. If Silent Hills is anything like this in terms of its creepy, scary factor, then I'll be very pleased.. but if its anything like this in terms of monotonously traversing the same location, then I won't be interested in the game. I'll assume the game will be the former and this teaser was just that, a simple teaser to promote the horror aspect that can be achieved without revealing anything about the plot of the game.

The Disco ball moon was very interesting. It could be a very effective space camouflage. The speed of dark was a great video. A shadow moving faster than light as an example is pretty damn cool.

I agree with Jim about EA Access. I wouldn't trust it at all. And it wouldn't surprise me if all the major companies started a subscription service if it works out for EA. Seeing as Netflix has succeeded, we've seen all sorts of subscription services spring up.. Hulu, Funimation, HBO GO, etc. Square Enix and Blizzard are least keeping their subscription services to their MMOs, but if they did another subscription each for their other games, I doubt they'd have the amount of content needed to keep those subscriptions going. I think my total gaming costs in a year are around $150, I only buy a few major AAA games a year and some indies via humble bundles. If Activision, Ubisoft, etc. all started subscriptions I wouldn't be interested at all. I already have so many games from PS+ that I've never even touched yet. Maybe all the subscriptions are trying to be like Steam.. we'll get all these great games at a great deal, but never have the time to play all of them. Its like that one article I read about that said the majority of Steam users now spend more time collecting and buying games than actually playing them. If this is the new standard then every game will become a freemium style one via subscriptions. This is a future of gaming that I'm not looking forward to. Also.. that Destiny Music Video was amazing.

I'll be on some BF4 tomorrow evening for a couple hours if anyone is interested in jumping on for a few rounds. Just check for me on the Playstaton app to see if I'm on. My brother is supposed to get on too, but I'd be surprised if that happens.

Its alot easier to just watch this video than try to beat that P.T. game. Its only a hallway and a few rooms and I gave up after playing it for over an hour. I was definitely making progress and was close to seeing this clip on my ps4, but I couldn't figure out what else I was missing. It was a hell of a lot creepier than Outlast IMO.

E-Cigarettes - Second hand vapor is not healthy
Sledgstone replied to Sledgstone's topic in Science & Technology
They can ban it or tax it if they want, all I know is that when possible I'll sit further away from somebody vaping in case there is a chance that it can aggravate my asthma. :/- 2 replies

This was a good article about E-Cigarettes. I wouldn't be surprised if, years from now, e-cigs are determined to be very hazardous to everyone's health including people exposed to the second hand vapor. Its kind of disturbing. People can go to the bathroom, vape and leave no residual smell in the bathroom.. then someone else can walk in and get exposed to all their second hand poisons and not realize it at all. http://gizmodo.com/why-e-cigarettes-might-not-be-as-safe-as-you-think-1589485508

Shark Week has been enjoyable so far. That Hilter shark and Submarine shark legends were pretty cool.

Those fixers on Watch Dogs were relentless. But I don't think that would be the case on MGS.. I bet it'll be a more traditional pursuit where they go back to their normal patrol areas after they loose sight of you. It would be pretty funny if they chased indefinitely tho. I now have this vision of Snake being chased by a massive horde of people like in The Benny Hill Show.

Turn on your PS4 and set "P.T." to download. It is the playable teaser for the new game Silent Hills. I'm setting it to download tonight so I can try it out after work tomorrow. I'm pretty excited to try this out. Source: Kotaku Click here to view the article

This should be a much better game than Survival Instinct. That game looked horrible.

With the AI shown in the box video I don't think we'll have any problems killing everyone in the game.
