It definitely sounds like a different kind of game. I wonder how the gameplay is. If we control an entire group of survivors, I wonder if it'll be an over head game where we micro manage everyone's actions or if we have one main character that makes decisions for the group and AI controls the rest. But if it plays like Dayz then I don't think I'd be interested.

I've heard the taxes, rent and house prices are insane in California. I think the only thing worse in NY is the property taxes. But for the price, I'd rather live in that San Diego climate than have to deal with the NY winters.

Honestly.. I teared up a bit too. It was so sad. And was it just me or did General Gaius look genuinely sad to see that his friend was really gone. I mean, yeah the guy was evil, but I kind of felt bad for him that what was left of his best friend was the one who killed him. I might have heard the cut scene wrong, but I think that moonblood guy said there were five blades. And there were five light sources on Ahrah that were blinking out as Dust died which might be what those stood for. Look at 2:46 in the video above. I want a sequel for this game. There is so much more they could do. Maybe one of those Elysian blades is evil as a counter balance to Ahrah. Perhaps in a sequel Dust will find someone as powerful as himself wielding one of the blades. It could be a Jedi vs Sith kind of plot line. Also.. Fidget is a Nimbat.. and her tribe has been the guardians of the sword for what.. centuries I think. Even tho we saw normal villages, Mudpot people and Moonbloods, we never got to see where Fidget came from. Maybe in a sequel we could see the nimbat village and possibly a new continent of creatures and characters. Perhaps since Dust turned into a dust form at the end of the game and flew off.. perhaps he was being carried away to where he needs to be next to fulfill his destiny.

I hate map voting. So many people choose the exact same map over and over and then quit out if it doesn't show up for a third time in a row.

I was thinking the zombie area would be good. I forgot about un-equipping all my other gear. lol. No wonder I kept killing them.

Thief sounds quite crappy.. I never played any of the previous Thief games tho so I have no idea if they were really good anyway.

Thanks for the heads up about that.. I found the red crystal with the hourglass symbol on it so I got in there. After I heard the music in that area and the sparkly dust that moved while I walked, I knew it was the Braid guy I'd find in there. I beat the game. I loved it. I got 100% completion of all areas and treasure. My total game completion was around 112%. Some of those clues were helpful, like the one that mentioned taking a leap of faith off the hand in Archer's Pass. I went to that hand and jumped to the left.. it triggered a moving platform that appeared right in mid air and i landed right on it.. It took me to another friend lock box. I did find all the friends too but I only recognized half of them. The only quest I didn't complete was that "C-C-C-C-COMBO Breaker!" one. Great Killer Instinct reference too. I have the pendant that reduces my attack down to around 180 but I don't know the best place to actually get the 1000 hit combo. The enemies at the end of the game could take the punishment but whenever I got up to 200+ someone would get a lucky hit in on me. Heres a screenshot of my stats at the end of the game.. My Fidget damage was insane. At the end of the game where Dust decided that he was his own person and not either of the two souls he possesses.. that was great. Holy crap the ending was sad.. and Dust died in the lava.. but right at the very end he re-emerges as literal Dust.. I really hope they make a sequel. And after seeing the ending, the title screen makes more sense now considering its an image of him re-forming himself from that same blue Dust.

I haven't pre-ordered it yet, but I'll still pick it up. I hope this isn't one of those games that I buy and then find out they're planning on making 5 DLC expansions for it.

A large amount of maps is good. Does it have a server browser so you can start on a specific map? Or is there a set pattern to the rotation or are all the maps randomized? Also.. hows the teamwork in the game? Have you noticed any opponents really working together to instant destroy your titan within moments of you getting it?

California seems like a much better place to live that Arizona. Wasn't there a forest fire near San Diego last summer? Do you ever see any ash or smoke in the air in the distance?

16 inches of snow starting tomorrow morning.. wtf. Winter needs to end. It was 41 here.. I even grilled dinner yesterday.. and now tomorrow it'll be crap all over again.

This shit is brutal. Its been increased to 18 inches for my area now. x_x 18 inches in 24 hours.. over 1 inch of snow an hour. *punches winter*

Wednesday needs to hurry up and get here so I can read the new One Piece.. Usoland!! He better do something epic that cowardly bastard.

I really want to see the Zoro vs Pica fight. That DF ability is insane. Also.. if everyone gets reverted from their toy state.. then what about Soldier san's rifle? The plan was to be released from the toy curse and then he shoots Flamingo.. but if he has a toy rifle now, couldn't that rifle turn into some awesome bazooka or something? What if his toy rifle is just a toy because he is.. and once the curse is broken, its actually something ridiculously powerful?

Usopp!!! He will be amazing! I know it! And now I have to wait 2 weeks for the next chapter.. damn. x_x

*is envious* Enjoy the game!

Thats a good increase in storage capacity. I think the next super huge increase will happen when discs become obsolete. Eventually we'll get something like holocrons from star wars.

Thats some good points. The show never did explain the nature of the synthetic soul.. and only that creator guy knows the full truth of what he made. I'd give it a 4 out of 5 for season 1.

Welcome back HK! Hows life been treating you lately?

Dorian's creator ran off with enough synthetic souls that he could make a small army of Dorian style androids. Considering how powerful and efficient that one killer droid woman was.. the next season could focus on the people from the other side of the wall trying to take over the city. I never got to see The Cape, but I remember the commercials for it. I never paid enough attention to the schedule and by the time I went to watch it it was already 7 episodes in.. I guess I should have watched it at that point anyway just to give it ratings. I think its on netflix now, I'll have to check. I did like the very last scene of the season finale. It showed Dorian literally being almost human and it felt fitting to see the season end that way.

The first season ended earlier this week with a bit of a lackluster finale. I do like this show, but it's pace is a bit too slow. I thought the show was going to end the season with a new lead on the syndicate / organization that John rejoined the force to investigate.. but aside from a couple episodes in the entire season, they've never been mentioned since. Also, what the hell is up with that giant wall? On the other side of the wall is a demilitarized zone.. but they never emphasized what was over the wall.. and it was only mentioned in a single episode. If there is a gigantic wall at the edge of this city.. why only show it in one episode? And I'm still wondering.. what is on the other side.. is it the border of another country? Maybe its an old penal colony and its encased in a giant circular wall.. maybe its another city of people who have shunned the government and all technology? I have so many questions about that wall and it was only in the one episode. wtf. I hope the show gets another season and I hope that season covers some ground, because the show ended a bit on the slow side for me. They shouldn't treat another season like this. It seemed to follow an xfiles theme, episodes that could be watched in almost any order. It needs to have some focal point to keep me interested.

http://battlelog.battlefield.com/bf4/forum/threadview/2955065226050471362/ The most noticeable changes to me: The server browser has been fixed. DMRS have been buffed again. lmao. People who know how to use these DMRs will be even more beastly now. The RGO impact grenade has been rebuffed and the Mini grenades have been nerfed. The MTAR and MP7 have been nerfed. Boats can now be pushed back into the water if they were beached. And the big ones: The Attack Helicopter gunner has been buffed. The Mobile AA has been nerfed again.. decreased max heat seekers from 6 to 4. The 20MM cannon has been significantly reduced in range from 1200 to 800. And the impact from the heat seeker missiles has been reduced so that helicopters wont fly out of control upon being hit. Ok.. I think Attack Helicopters could be enjoyable in this game now.

The full package of SRTT that I got at the time must have been a special one because it included the Vampire Rewards DLC.. and what sucked is that I had no way of turning them off. I still enjoyed the game, but it definitely was much easier than it should have been for me. The rewards was nuts too.. Right after starting a new game I had thousands of dollars and I was able to easily buy a crap load of properties that started an easy cash flow very early in the game. And with the ability to grab almost any enemy and hit F on my keyboard to instant kill them and take their hit points by sucking their blood.. lets just say it kept me alive through some ridiculous fights that I otherwise would have had to level up for. Thinking about this, I wish steam had a way to turn off specific DLCs. I have the Wrath of the Lamb DLC for Binding of Isaac and it honestly makes the game more difficult. wtf.. I couldn't beat it before and now its even harder. Back on the subject of PS Plus.. I just read that Tomb Raider for PS4 sold amazingly well. I hope it does become a PS+ game later this year. I'd love to play it again, especially the remaster maxed graphics version.

I wont use that red and white or redesign it to look like vg247 or kotaku. lol. The new IPB is going to look quite a bit different than what we're using now. Instead of learning their newish styling system, I'll buy a couple new themes again. A dark one and a light one.. but I'll hold off on buying something elaborate like what we're using now. Unless it has amazing support, its just far to complicated to troubleshoot issues on my own. We wont have the slider at the top of the articles and main page anymore, but we'll have article images and a slightly different article based front page instead of a blog format. The article system will work in the same way.. in which the article will also be posted as a forum topic. But depending on how some of the new features work, I might change this around to article comments only or change the way article topics are handled so that a new topic will be created for every article instead of having one massive topic that keeps getting promoted posts. I'm used to looking at the forum instead of articles, but if you look at the articles, the comments don't make any sense most of the time, because it shows the entire topic in the comments instead of just the replies that occurred after the specific post that was promoted.

As of a couple days ago, the person who created the themes that we use for Ancient Clan has decided to stop offering support for his work at this time. He might get back to supporting them in the future, but if they are unsupported by the end of this year when we go to upgrade AC to the newest version of IPB, we'll most likely switch to a different layout. He has given me great support over the past year and I wish him the best of luck for his future. In the mean time, I've been working on a new theme... and I think we're going to simplify things a bit.. we'll have no graphics and everything will be white and red and will look something like this: lmao. I'm just kidding about that red and white. That looks horrible.

If we wait long enough SR4 complete edition might end up in a humble bundle like SR3. I know I'd buy then if I didn't own it yet.

Vikings Season 2 Episode Discussion (possible spoilers)
Sledgstone replied to Sledgstone's topic in Movies, TV & Books
4 years later.. good. I'm glad they time skipped. They have new ships and sailed west for some more raids, but it looks like they lost half the ships or more seeing as I can't remember how many ships they started with. Athelstan's character is so drastically different now from season 1. He became so immersed into their culture that he became part of it and it changed him to his core. Rollo almost seems pointless now.. But seeing as he is there and all the great warriors are off on a raid for up to a year, he could still betray Ragnar and try to take control of things. I loved that when Ragnar went to the prophet, he was told that his sons would be more famous than him.. and that he was referring to Bjorn as the most successful one. The preview for the next episode looks much more promising. It looks like the series will be picking up the pace too.
