I got in a few more rounds tonight because my brother got on. I didn't see any way to invite anyone, but we were able to join into each others matches and the game auto-balanced the teams after the match to get us on the same team, which was a nice improvement. I was piloting a helicopter and the lighting effects were blinding. The higher I got the worse the blinding light would get. The left analog stick controls for altitude threw me off at first, but I'm realizing that it seemed more responsive.. I kinda liked that. Domination game mode is where this beta shines. Very faced paced, good action and great combat. It was like Close Quarters but better. Conquest though is a pain, far too big of maps for these limited amount of players. Almost all action is focused on 1 or 2 flags while the third is completely abandoned and unless you spawn on a team mate, spawning at the base requires a noticeable foot work or driving to get to any action. Once you have control of a flag, you can choose that flag as a spawn location and then use the right analog stick to choose which vehicle at that flag to spawn on. Honestly tho.. if this was just for PS3, I wouldn't buy it. It reminds me of how call of duty makes a new game, but it looks basically the same as the old one with a few more features. I'm not interested in that. I'll get this for PS4 because I can get 64 player matches and highly improved graphics over what I've played on the consoles.. but for PC players, I wonder if the improvements are big enough over BF3 to drop more money for another graphics card and another full price game.

I was able to change the layout from default to veteran which swaps the knife and prone buttons. I'd rather have knife back to R2. Spotting used to be the select button, but now its R2.. I'm so used to spotting with select that I kept hitting it and bringing up the battlelog menu. Whats really annoying is the vehicle controls. Only the default setup has fire on R1.. all other preset button layouts requires the fire button to be one of the L buttons. wtf. The default vehicle controls now has accelerate as the left analog stick.. I'd rather the accelerate and reverse buttons dedicated to their own buttons, but doing that results in the fire button being L1.. and there is no customization to change it. I'll have to get used to the default layout.

I agree, they also had an episode about "The N word" and how the "N-word" should be abolished. They decided to be vigilantes. Normal people would just call the police, but these guys acted too aggressive. If this was a stand your ground state, this guy could have shot everyone of these guys.

Lmao. I felt the same way. After MGS2 I no longer had any interest in Raiden. I remember when I bet MGS2, I kept thinking, "I wonder whats next after this stupid oil plant.. maybe I'll finally get to play as Snake again.." Game Over.. wtf!? No Snake!!! SNAAAAAAAAAAAKE!

The beta is not impressive for PS3 in the slightest. If not for the fact that I'll get a PS4 to play this game on with 64 players, I wouldn't buy this game for PS3. Its basically BF3 with new maps. Based off this beta version, I'm not seeing the destruction shown in the videos I've seen online, the button layouts have been noticeably changed for vehicles and I cannot get the same custom button configuration that I use for BF3. Spotting people is easy with R2, but now the select button brings up a crappy battlelog menu with a friends list that serves no purpose in the middle of a battle... and the maps on PS3 are too large for the amount of players. This must be an early beta version because this is drastically lacking compared to the videos I've seen. RPGs are much easier to hit with. The bullet drop for them is much less than in BF3. The support's airburst gun seems interesting but I can't seem to hit anything with it. Recon now has C4 which is nice and I got a couple good kills with it. But after dropping 2 C4s and exploding 3 guys, there was no damage to the structure of the top floor of the building I was on. I randomly RPG'd some buildings and I only saw scorch marks. Bullet drop on jeeps needs to be adjusted because I was taken out easily by a jeep cannon from some large distance and I had a large height advantage. I only played 2 1/2 rounds. I'll get back on there later tomorrow to get a better feel for it. Also, the game looks graphically better than BF3 on PS3, but at the same time it doesn't because the high details just aren't there. This is definitely a next gen and PC game. I wouldn't bother getting this on PS3 or Xbox 360 just based off these 2 rounds.

I've only played 5 of those, the 2 NES games, MGS, MGS2 & MGS3 and only beaten the first 2 MGS games. Have you played Metal Gear Rising? Is it any good from what you've seen?

I have the BF4 beta for PS3 downloading now. Ohhh... this should be interesting. It'll look nothing like the ps4 and PC versions, but at least I'll get a good look at the new loadouts and maps.

I wish Smaug was in the first movie.. A book about a dragon and a horde of gold and all we get is a brief glimpse of him at the end. The dish trowing and singing wasn't all that bad, it just felt like filler to me.. and I think I would have enjoyed it more if not for the lack of the dragon.. they had the time to put a playful scene like that in, but not a dragon.. it kinda irked me.

Wow.. I put 40 hours into SR3 and didn't even finish all the side missions.. then again I also have all the DLC for it. Maybe they're planning on huge SR4 DLC releases too.

I'm completely out of the loop with the Metal Gear timeline. I haven't played 3 or 4 or revengeance.. and now Phantom will be out. lol. I have no idea what the plot even is anymore.

It looks like they purposefully surrounded him and then forced him to stop by braking into his front end. I saw this on the news this morning. I'm surprised this biker uploaded this video because it looks like they instigated it. If they edited the video to just showing the SUV running over that one bike, then they'd be able to say it was on him. It looks like they wanted to harass people as gang. I honestly hate driving near motorcyclists. Most of them drive like ass. I've seen plently weave inbetween cars or drive around them at intersections while the car in front was making a left turn Just because their vehicle is small enough to do it. They'll throw most of the common sense of driving out of the window and drive recklessly and then get irate if they have to brake. wtf. When I see a motorcycle I try to get away from them so I can avoid their accident.

I think electric cars will be the future.. the biggest problem with them is battery storage. Someone needs to create a new kind of battery that can hold 1000 miles worth of travel on a single charge and has an extremely fast recharge rate. Once that happens, I could see electric cars dominating. The one thing I'd really like about renewable gasoline is that it wouldn't be tied to the price of oil. If oil skyrockets to crazy highs, the price of gas would hardly be affected. Of course, thats only if they can mass produce enough gasoline. Speaking of fuel for cars, I'm surprised Autogas (LPG) isn't more common in the US. I've seen plenty of buses that use it but only one car. Buses that run on LPG hardly have any exhaust. I remember back in the day getting stuck behind a bus.. I'd have to roll the windows up because the stink of their fumes was horrible. -

The trailer is in japanese only and 360p crappy quality so its hard to see what detail the animators might be putting into this. It could be a good anime once its done.

This is pretty huge. These companies have been fixing the prices on parts for so long, it must have had a large impact on the total price of new vehicles.

That first part about the information tracking is right on. Its a bit creepy.. amazon does it to me all the time. I have an account with them and I signed up for their emails.. I'll browse their site randomly without logging in, with or without my browser set for private and they will know who I am based off my IP# and within a day or 2 they'll send me another email about products I might be interested that have gone on sale. It caught me off guard at first, but yeah.. amazon knows my shopping habits almost completely. I swear they even email me about buying something when they know I'll be running out soon, (like dog flea medication). Its very interesting about how people can go missing.. they'd have to never use their real identity again and use cash for everything.
