    I forgot about Batman Beyond. Bruce Wayne finally got old and a new Batman took over.. but this series was based in 2050. I bet by the time we get to the year 2050 Batman Beyond will not have existed because Bruce Wayne will still be in his 30s/40s. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Batman_Beyond

Instead of an oil pipeline, I could see a few massive water piplines being constructed to transfer fresh water produced from the oceans.

    The HTC One looks good, but I like having a brick in my pocket. That aluminum looks good, but it might not offer much grip or friction. I'd be concerned about the One sliding right out of my pocket while I'm sitting down somewhere.

    I won't be eligible for my full phone upgrade until a year from now. By then the S5 will probably be out.

    I think Disc Locked Content is a bullshit marketing strategy. In my opinion that product is already paid for, including the development time, etc. Too many games are getting stripped down and parts locked away just to make some extra money. \

    If Kratos was in those pictures he'd probably be that noticeable. Hes definitely not a god that would hide in the clouds. *someone taking pictures of volcano lightning* "Wow.. this is amazing.. oh shit! Kratos! Run for you lives!" lmao.. as if a volcano erupting lava, Pyroclastic flow and lightning wasn't dangerous enough.

    If windows would only run games purchased through their store app they'd be facing even more anti-trust lawsuits. Sure Android phones have google play, but you can install and runs games and apps that are not purchased or downloaded through google play. If they restricted their phones to their store only then I'm sure some companies or countries would be suing google for the same issues. I think the real reason steam wanted to run linux boxes is because of the cost of Windows 8 OEM.. with every steam box sold, Microsoft would get paid, and with Microsoft running Xbox, they would be handing money over to their competitor. Same with blu-ray drives. Steam is all about downloadable games.. if they had a blu-ray super drive in their PCs, sony would indirectly get some money from the blu-ray tech. The more slimmed down they can get steam boxes, the cheaper they should be with less software costs involved. If it ends up costing that much it will fail. I'd rather just buy or build a custom gaming PC that could be upgraded for that price.

    I did not know that. It must have been too big of a project to have been included in all the other Saints Row The Third DLC. It definitely looks like its running the same game engine except with improved graphics and all those super power extra features.

    Interesting article. Its hard to believe its been two years already. The cost of natural gas in the US is pretty cheap compared to what its been over the years. Japan must be using massive amounts of it to compensate for their nuclear reactors being down. *on a side note* I edited your post, acenagile1987, I added what I think is the link you were referencing.     It makes sense that they would run Windows 8. I don't think MS is selling Windows 7 licenses anymore and if they want to actually run all of the games available on steam out of the box it has to run Windows. I wouldn't buy a linux powered steam box until Valve can get steam running every title available on linux. And with these steam machines running windows we should be able to run a variety of game mods and other software on it as well as steam. I would say that fact would negate the label of "Steam box" as it could run any software, but as long as the hardware and software configuration is set specifically with running steam and it's games in mind, then it should sell like hot cakes. If they mass produce the computers with a strong CPU, graphics and RAM and make them cheap then I'll buy one if it means I can play my games at full specs without having to buy an expensive gaming PC. All we would need to do is buy an Xbox 360 controller for it because almost all Steam games with controller support are designed for use with an Xbox 360 controller.

    They eye tracking sounds a bit creepy.. If its always watching you then maybe a bad app could tap into that feed and get video? An app wouldn't need permission to turn that part on considering it would be running all the time if its enabled. Ehhh.... Have you guys seen the HTC One?     That guys looks buff as hell now. I wish I had half his muscles. Ever since watching The Mask, Dumb and Dumber, Evan Almighty, etc. I tend to avoid any movies hes in because whatever character he plays is always at the center of attention.. I know I mentioned movies that he is the primary star in, but what I mean is that his characters are always making a scene and all characters stop what they're doing to focus solely on him as he shouts and screams and does something whacky. Hes a good actor, I'd rather see him do more roles where you can't tell its him. And so far its looking good for him in Kick-Ass 2.

It could lead to new theories and possibly advance science as we know in the future.. and then I read some of the comments in that article and I realize how under appreciated science is. I'm looking forward to a new Morgan Freeman episode to explain this new discovery to me.

    What I never understood is why the various Robins can grow old and become new superheroes (Nightwing) or even die off, but Batman just keeps kicking ass regardless of how old he is becoming. At least Dr. Who has an explanation for why it will never end. He can keep regenerating himself into a newer incarnation. The main difference with that series compared to all the others is that all the other characters get written off or die. Some characters might come back but most are never brought back into the show. I wouldn't mind seeing the original Marvel and DC universes continuing forever, but they should kill off characters, make new ones to replace them, stop retconning and continue the series. They have quite a few immortal characters, so I can understand them being present in the evolving comic universes but to think that the Fantastic 4, X-Men, etc. will never grow old and die seems more unrealistic to me than all the mutant super powers in the comics. Death Note should have ended when L died. Watching the second season was just a cruel reminder of L's demise. ;_;

    Link colors for articles and forum posts in the dark theme are now fixed. It will now be easy to distinguish links. There is an issue with attaching gallery albums into posts. This is being looked into.

    I was so worried when I heard Jim Carrey would be in it.. but in the trailer he is not acting like his normal Jim Carrey characters. Yay. He won't seem out of place now.
