Lol. I stopped playing all the facebook games for that same reason. All of those games would force you to recruit new players and then have all those micro-transactions for random crap like a new special cow. Ever since Angry Birds started using instant win specials that cost money, I swear they changed some levels to be more difficult to encourge the use of the space eagles or millennium falcons. I have no interest in paying money for one use items. One of the worst games was the Worms for Facebook. I was in the beta for it, and after seeing they would charge for one use items like certain weapons I bailed on it. I have no interest in a game that would charge you to give you an unfair advantage over people who don't want to pay. Whether they changed that in their final version of the game or not, I don't care. I saw enough to not even be interested in it anymore.

Govt. Has The Right to Kill American Citizens?
Sledgstone replied to Ladywriter's topic in News Column
Damn. I wouldn't mind seeing drones used for border security or having the coast guard get a nice supply of them. But any military drone use inside our borders shouldn't be happening. I never cared for the F-16s in Syracuse for that matter. They would do test / maneuver runs on an almost daily basis (at least twice a week). Those jets were loud as hell. A 747 landing was loud, but those F-16s were noticeable. Since they've switched to military drones, I have not seen a single one in the sky. Maybe they fly only at night. I have no idea. At night, I wouldn't be able to distinguish their lights compared to other planes and these drones are quiet. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hancock_Field_Air_National_Guard_Base Btw, I've read other articles about airspace and commercial drones and I figured I'd quote this article: http://www.philly.com/philly/news/breaking/Why_a_drone_can_hover_over_your_home_and_you_cant_stop_it.html As it is right now, some jack ass can own a drone and fly it around in your backyard. It could be 10 feet in the air and watch everything you are doing and its not illegal because you don't own your own airspace. And if you shoot it down, you can get sued because you are destroying their property. If random people can harass me with small drones, I'm assuming the government or police probably will too. I don't like the idea of it. Its like Britain's CCTV cameras, except these will be flying everywhere. I'm wondering how long it will be until some asshole wants to arm his drone with a paintball gun. Or the next psycho out there wants to drone attack a school during lunch recess. I'm not looking forward to the future of drone development. -

Govt. Has The Right to Kill American Citizens?
Sledgstone replied to Ladywriter's topic in News Column
I remember reading somewhere that many police departments are now budgeting for non-military drones. It looks like they could use the drones for surveillance in hostage situations.. but if they equip a gun on it, they could technically use a drone to get the right angle to snipe a criminal. Do you guys think that should be allowed? It wouldn't be federal drones, it'd be county, state or city police. It would still be considered the govt killing americans with drones on American soil tho. -

New Action Packed Trailer for Star Trek Into Darkness
Sledgstone replied to DeathscytheX's topic in Movies, TV & Books
Yeah, there was a problem with the original post getting deleted when we stuck them all in one topic. Its fixed now, but it still looks a bit odd on the article page when comments are initially based off a different post. Either way is good. -
Warcraft 3 had a great opening: At least he gets his frog back.. but whats this.. his hair is brown in the opening and blue in the ending.. lmao.

New Action Packed Trailer for Star Trek Into Darkness

Looks good. I wish they would emphasize the bad guy a bit more tho. -
That looks good. Heres another opening that requires no words: Blaster Master: So I'll add my own words: "Oh no my frog.. radiation? I fell in a hole.. awesome tank.. I'm a bad Ass now." I used to play that game all the time. Kings Quest V: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Zh6r4Wu3LaU I loved this game! I completely forgot the opening was longer than Dunes!

Sledgstone replied to DeathscytheX's topic in News Column
This is very interesting. I could see this procedure improving by combining the implant printing along with stem cell printing to actually print a new section of genetically identical skull, or any kind or bone or tissue replacement. http://sciencebusiness.technewslit.com/?p=12802 -
I have never heard of Kid Chameleon. I'll have to play it now. Resident Evil: Awesome. Lunar Silver Star Story Complete: Classic. i can't help but watch this opening and remember the entire game. Dune PC: The longest game intro I have ever seen!

What would you guys do? I'd probably assume it was an internet recording thing.. but then again.. I dunno. I'd probably call 9-1-1 and throw a shoe at the murder's face and run for my life.

I've been wating Fairy Tail tonight.. catching up on some episodes. The grand magic games arc is great.
-
i stopped just after the time skip. As the next arc was non cannon, and incomplete, is the magic games arc complete, and I might continue watching the anime, I generally watch anime in chunks,. otherwise so little is done per episode, it is border line insanity trying to watch one a week, Naruto for example has been in the same arc for about 18 months (ninja war) 1 ep a week covers to little ;p
-
Thats what we do. If its filler we skip it. Then we wait until we have about 10 or so episodes to watch. We're all caught up on Fairy Tail now. 7 episodes yesterday and another 7 tonight. I have a feeling the anime will catch up to the manga at some point soon tho, considering they are both on the same magic games arc.

The HDD part won't matter if google glass includes an online storage account that gets uploaded as its recorded. Considering Gmail offers 10 gb of free space, Google Glass would most likely have more than that per user. I bet it would destroy the battery tho. I doubt people would be able to do constant recording just because of the power limitation. And if the glasses have to be plugged into the phone for power for video use, then it might be more obvious when someone is set for recording when there is a noticeable cord snaked down their shirt.

Haha. Yeah, it was a much darker comic. Anyone seen TMNT Turtles Forever? It was the best TMNT special ever made, because it showed every incarnation of TMNT in it at the time, including the original black and white comic version. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Csn1j65e7oQ Maybe I'll give the show a few more eps. I didn't see any good fights in the couple that I watched, but I'll check.

I don't think Woodbury would be safe against a giant heard. Like the one that took out the farm.. I would think the zombies would eventually over run the walls at the weak points. I think the chain link fence of the prison would probably stop a massive heard like that because it would be a reinforced fence and could probably take the constant pushing against it.. but with the primary fence being busted, that prison could be screwed if more zombies flood in there.. they'll get bottled in and block their exit. I think the only reason Woodbury is safe is because of those zombie experiments the governor had whatshisface doing. They had sound traps on the outer edges of their territory. Large pits with nets and a large, loud solar paneled rotating metal thing in the middle. They only had one episode they showed it in. It was when Meryl was out getting new zombies for the experiments and zombie entertainment battle. But if they had quite a few of these traps, like at least 4 making a perimeter around the town, then that could be a very good defense against the zombies. As long as they went out at least once a week to haul the zombies up, spike them in the head, burn the bodies and reset the trap, then it could be manageable. Obviously they don't have enough of these traps, or zombies still ignore it because they still get quite a few heading right towards their main gates. Which doesn't make much sense to me.. It looks like most of the edges of their town consists of boarded up houses. Aside from the main gate and the rear, you'd think some zombies would eventually bust through a rotted piece of wall, especially since the sides of the town aren't even being monitored. What they should do is take a hint from Michonne and chain up a bunch of of de-limbed and de-teethed zombies all along the outer edge of the walls. But they'd have to mark them somehow or have them in cages because then there would be the possibility of a dangerous zombie being mistaken as one of their decoys.
