    I think we have double weapon xp this weekend too. I'm going to get on there later tomorrow and try to level up my SCAR-H. I'm loving that gun atm. Those videos are interesting. That COD 3 game looks like a battlefield clone. And holy crap people can jump on bf2!

    I have no real interest in playing FPS multiplayer games on PC. I've seen way too many AIM bot videos already and it looks even worse for COD. I could see 100 vs 100 games working, but with every game now coming out with multiplayer games it takes away some players from the bigger titles. 100 vs 100 would work for games like COD with no real server browser options, but BF3 has so many maps and game modes that 100 vs 100 would probably require putting limitations on map rotations and game mod selections.

    I'm hoping that sony announces that PSN accounts will carry over to the PS4 and all purchased content and DLC will be available for downloading and playing. Its one thing to not have backwards compatibility because of hardware limitations, but all digital purchases should be available or all the ppl that have spent hundreds on PSN purchases will have to continue using their PS3s for years to come just to access their content.

    GoW 1 was an amazing game when it came out. The narration and music really drew me into the game. I hope this new GoW game will be better than GoW 3. GoW 3 was more gory than the previous games but it didn't have as much of an impact on me as GoW 1 & 2 did.

    I think that eventually the consoles will be on par with PC's to a point where more advanced computers won't make a difference in terms of the scale of the game that is designed. If the new consoles could support 100 vs. 100 in Battlefield 4 or 5, then PC systems could end up having 200 vs. 200. But all that seems pointless. Imagine playing a game of 100 vs 100 of BF4 with a 500 ticket count and a map the size of all maps ever released combined. I'm sure games of that scale would be amazing. But game designers would have to realize they wouldn't have the amount of players needed for games of that size and will have to cap the games at a certain player count regardless of it being a PC or console. Then the only difference between all the platforms will be the ever evolving graphics card. PCs will always look better than consoles because of upgrade capabilities. But in the near future that will be the only thing setting PC games apart from consoles as far as i can tell. LMAO!

    That was surprising. To think they would do a live action commercial for the game.. and for it to not include any violence either. Whats interesting is that the God of War movie is still in the works and a live action commercial for the new game might actually be laying the ground work for future details about the movie.

    Looking at the comments for this article (or any console uploaded bf3 video on youtube) and I always see the same things. So many computer players that hate all console systems. It'll be interesting to see what Sony announces for the PS4. I'm really more interested in what the new xbox will be. That illumiroom thing with their new kinect really grabbed my attention.

    I read that entire page.. wtf were they thinking with that horrible script.. And Nic Cage would have been superman for only half the movie? and then some other guy with superman S shurikens.. wtf. That throwable S does sound alot better than the old cellophane S. wtf.

    It sounds like it will be a good game. In the multiplayer demo I had a chance to have the character pick up a battle hammer that was useable with the circle button. Once I chucked the hammer, it reverted to a kicking attack. I'm still a bit confused with the time line. I'm guessing unlike the other games where Kratos somehow losses his powerups at the beginning of the game, at the end of this game he will somehow loose all his powerups because then God of War 1 starts. I wonder if they are doing this prequel game because they wanted more time to figure out a plausible sequel to GoW 3.

    At least we know they'll still have those buttons on the PS4 controller.

    I finished an upgrade to the site, which included an editor upgrade and updated skin fixes. So far it looks like everything is fine, but I'm still not caring for this editor. In firefox, the quote feature seems a bit off. After you hit quote, you should hit an arrow button before typing or pasting to make it look correct. I'll have to fill out a bug report for it. Let me know if anyone comes across any errors or problems.

    After looking at the video again it looks like there is a base camp, probably where all the jets launch out from. I'm hoping that the base camps will have some stationary AA to prevent spawn raping and that the base camp is the only accessible locations for ground troops so stingers could be used there to prevent more spawn deaths. I found this video breakdown of the trailer: The zeppelins are the capture points, and it looks like 8 vs 8 jets. If there are no 2 seat jets introduced into this game mode, then for 12 vs 12 to work, there might be stationary AAs.. but even then I would think there would be ppl waiting for jets. I highly doubt there would be any helicopters with that many jets. They would get shredded way too quick. I could only imagine some ridiculous PC version with 60 + jets flying around slamming into each other constantly. I hope they don't make the game mode 8 vs 8 like close quarters. Close quarters is fun, but unless you go to the server browser specifically for it, you'll never find those matches in a random map rotation because it would result in kicking players off the server when they come up. Its one of the few flaws with that DLC that shouldn't be repeated with any others.

The new motorcycles look great and the new Air Superiority has really grabbed my attention. One of the things I've noticed is that the map shown on the air superiority video does not have any ground troops. No stinger missiles and plenty of wind turbines to break heat seeker lock-ons. Sounds like a good jet map to me. Hopefully with so many jets in the air it will be an enjoyable game mode with no one-sided BS. *crosses fingers* Click here to view the article

    I'll pass on watching this movie in the theater, but it looks like it'd be an interesting zombie movie just because of how different it is from traditional zombie flicks.

    You make some very valid points. Unless the movie was going to be made on the scale of Avatar with special effects and some damn good battle scenes and/or war, a CG movie would actually make more sense at this point. I just hope this movie will not turn out like the Dungeons & Dragons movies that were on the Syfy channel.

    I looked for it last night on youtube and couldn't find it. If you see the 2 hour special re-airing on the channel, watch the last 15 to 20 minutes of it to see where the sub was at, how they were attracting it in, and then all the HD footage. The footage itself was only about 8 minutes long I think.

    Yep! They caught it on HD video. The footage was of it clamped down onto the food / other dead squid that was attached to the sub while it was eating it. You couldn't see it taking bites or anything, but you could see it hovering there in the water and they got some good close ups of it.

    Variety is reporting that Legendary Pictures has signed Duncan Jones to direct the Live-action Warcraft movie. The only movie I've seen that Duncan Jones has directed was "Source Code" and I'm wondering if this director will make something that fans will enjoy. Its a shame Sam Raimi backed out while working on his Oz movie. I know not everyone is a fan of Sam Raimi, but I think he would have made something amazing out of Warcraft.     Part 2 of Doctor Who Season 7 will begin on Saturday, March 30. Finally! It will only have been 6 months since the last episode of this season (not counting the last Christmas special). http://www.bbcamerica.com/anglophenia/2013/01/bbc-america-to-premiere-adventure-in-space-and-time-for-doctor-who-50th/ "An Adventure in Space and Time" I'm really looking forward to this new Doctor Who special.
