I haven't built a system in over 8 or 9 years so I wont be of any help to you. Aside from building a pc, you could always go to a website like dell.com, select a pc and then choose all the upgrades you want. And some sites will let you select all your individual components and then you could pay them the extra fee to assemble it and test it themselves. I've bought a system from a site called mwave.com before.. years ago.. heres a link to their testing and assembly info: http://www.mwave.com/mwave/SKUSearch.asp?SCriteria=assemtest out of the huge checklist of stuff they do, it includes: But for $80 to assemble the computer and test it for you, you could always put that money into an already prebuilt upgraded pc instead.Oh, and yes you may or may not need a sound card. Many motherboards have integrated sound and integrated video, but if you want it hooked up to a good surround sound system, then opt for a better sound card. Just like most of the integrated video is lacking for gaming, you'd want to opt for a better video card.

*removes 5 of gg's posts* Little does he know is that I've been keeping him out of the top 10 posters for years! mwahaha! j/k

That is epic looking.

Yes! I did read the hell out of those kinds of books as a kid! X'D I remember using my fingers to mark certain pages so I could go back and make a do-over. X'D

That looks pretty painful for those girls, but that guy was funny looking. He fell over almost comically.

NASA Starts Work on Real Life Star Trek Warp Drive
Sledgstone replied to Sledgstone's topic in Science & Technology
If space is being warped around the vessel and nobody is actually accelerating, then there shouldn't be a problem right? Either that or someone needs to start working on inertial dampeners. -
No, no.. all our existing posts will import over. Blog posts should be fine too. I'll be looking into all the info for converting the forum software over the upcoming weeks/months to make sure will loose as little as possible.

How was the action scenes? At least theres good action with a crappy plot?

I didn't read much as a kid, except for random comics when I could get my hands on them.

Never go to an Aspen Dental. I've been going to one for years and I'm fed up with them. After having a fourth filling fall out a month ago, I'm done with them. And I swear that they did my fillings half assed because I have decent insurance. I found out that even though they don't charge me for fixing the shit filling that fell out, they were still charging my insurance company a second time for the same filling, but not charging me the second copay. So they were basically getting paid twice to do the same filling.

Those damn chibis were devastating to people's virginity. But what if new forum software ends up deleting all old posts!? Then we'd all start back at zero post count and your goal of getting to the top 10 list would have been in vain.. lol. j/k.

I have some old colognes if you want them!

Did anyone treat you for lunch?

I use the same stuff. Sensodine toothpaste is great for the sensitivity. As for the pronamel or act restoring mouthwash, it only fills in/restores microscopic flaws in the existing enamel.. according to my dentist nothing will replace or regrow enamel that has been lost. I wish I knew the importance of enamel back when I was a kid. Everything was, "brush your teeth twice a day and floss after meals" I should have been told: "Brush your teeth with a soft bristle toothbrush and floss twice a day.. and don't drink soda at all because the acids will destroy your enamel and in 20 something years you'll never be able to drink cold water again without experiencing pain for the rest of your life." x_x I hope it'd be covered by insurance. I'll get it done asap.

http://gizmodo.com/5943928/throw-out-your-toothbrush-artificial-enamel-is-on-the-way I need this treatment.. My enamel was pretty much ripped away from too much soda when I was a kid.

Good points. I'd like to see robocop have a metallic shine like the old version, but even that doesn't make sense in todays day and age. Everyone would see him coming from a distance and shoot an rpg at him. What they need for this movie is a good plot tho... Even now if I see Robocop 3 on tv, I cringe in disappointment.

I'd spend all my free time on AC back in the day too. Nowadays, I spend my free time playing video games, watching tv, etc. I used to spend days on end working on forum upgrades, new modifications, extra features, replying to every single post, etc.. Its not that I don't have the time to do that anymore, its just that I'd rather spend my time doing other things. Same with the hosting we used to do and the larger servers we ran that took hours to initially setup. Screw all that now. I want to enjoy my internet time instead of using it to work on side projects. Now I just want a forum software thats all one program and I don't have to worry about having 20 different mods that I have to install to get the functionality that I want. As long as the forum is secure and it works with decent features and minimum maintenance I'll be pleased. vBulletin burned me out. I spent hours working on themes and mods on vb4 all for it to turn out like shit. It became such a waste of time that I lost all interest in working on improving the forums. I just want to be able to get online, not see a bunch of spam, know everything is secure and enjoy AC again. \ lmao. X'D I remember it was mostly on thursday nights when I played on a dartball league. I'd come back home around 10 pm at night just to see multiple threads of me getting my virtual ass beat.

I feel about the same way. I read other forums and blogs occasionally, but I only post on here. Aside from looking/posting on twitter and facebook from my phone, I'm not much on socializing as much as I used to.
