Battlefield 3 - The most beautiful FPS ever...
Sledgstone replied to DeathscytheX's topic in Video Games
I dunno if my pc will be able to play it or not.. or if its just the PC version having issues. I'm having the "joining server" error.. it just sits on joining server infinitely and never opens the game. I searched for fixes and it seems that there are a variety of PC users having the same issue. I'll try it again tomorrow. Kinda sucks, I can't even get the game to load so I can even change settings on it or anything. The browser battlelog stuff is interesting and all, but I'm surprised that everything has to be run thru the browser just to get the game to open. I can't even troubleshoot it because it just gives me generic error 1 or 2 when I click multiple times to connect to a server. gah. -
http://gizmodo.com/5845533/kodak-is-on-the-verge-of-being-worth-zero-dollars Wow... Kodak was huge back in the day. I'm really surprised to see them go under after all this time. I think Kodak's main flaw was not getting into the digital camera market fast enough.. and instead of implementing SD cards right off the bat, they implemented 1.44 floppys into their first line of digital cameras.. http://www.mir.com.my/rb/photography/companies/Kodak/index.htm Just a couple mistakes and they were never able to catch back up to the market.. The thing that aggrivates me tho, is that I was about to buy one of their printers until I saw this article. The low cost ink was inspiring me to get one of their printers, but if their company is shitting the brick then I don't see how they'll be able to support their products in the future unless another company buys them out like HP did with compaq.

I downloaded the beta but I can't get a damn quick match to load for me. I think I'll try disabling my firewall to see if that works. Is anyone else trying the beta on PC? -
If they had an app for ps3 or xbox, it would be huge. I would assume its on its way considering VIZO is making bluray players with an amazon internet app already: http://www.amazon.com/VIZIO-VBR133-Blu-ray-player-Internet/dp/B004XYJKHI

Yes, that is still their best video. lol.

[ame] [/ame]Pretty good so far. I would think a live action movie could be possible. The special effects these guys are doing is more impressive than the live action Death Not movie.

http://www.icv2.com/articles/news/21123.html I'll definitely watch this when I can.. DC has been having a good run with their straight to dvd ovas. Superman/Batman: Apocalypse and Public Enemies were both very good.

http://gizmodo.com/5843861/nasas-testing-laser-internet-in-space-laser-space-internet Well, with a bunch of relays in place, once a Mars or space colony is created it will at least have earth internet!

New Season of Berserk.. Maybe
Sledgstone replied to Kite's topic in Anime / Animation / Manga / Comics
If the majority of the show is done with computer animation, they could probably change outfits and weapons on ppl on the fly.. maybe they posted the early trailers just to see if ppl would nit pick that stuff and then make the fixes to impress the fans. -

The cg parts look like they are right out of a game... the non-cg parts look really good tho! -

Thanks! Makes sense to just use the consolidated list.

Thats very true. Maybe they wanted to split the two services because so many netflix users kept looking to stream a show or movie only to see that accursed "dvd only" notice. Its aggravated me so much that about 80% of the crap I search for to watch.. they have, but only on dvd. Most of netflix for me is just finding new shows or series to watch that I've never seen before which is a crapshoot because their recommendations are not always good watches for us.

Thanks for the link Strider! I'll check it out. huh.. battlefield 3 is on origin, I'll look at that one too. I'm going to d/l team fortress 2 also.. I've heard about for years but I've never played it. No kidding.. thats pretty convenient. So if I have a game that I got thru stream I should open stream and choose to play it thru the stream menu to get all the interconnectivity with the game/stream or does it matter if I just play the game from the icon on my desktop?

I've tried SC2 on a couple of friend's computers now. It looks so impressive. Btw, what is impulse? *feels like a newb*
