  1. I'm very interested in finding out about that too.. and why would Don Flamingo know so much? I wonder if Croc will fight alongside Flamingo too. That Diamond Jaws/Jos guy must be pretty friggin strong to be able to punch a logia around. Maybe he has a haki ability to? Or maybe his diamond ability gives him that power?
  2. Wouldn't that be horrible if he actually browses forums as a guest just to get plot ideas? X'D
  3. Yes. Same with Lost style flash backs. If they end up starting a flashback trend I'll drop this show quick. I did like how there was a kind of dustdevil entity. It went around absorbing water and then dispersing it.. which is a start at least in terms of alien lifeforms. The one thing that really pissed me off in the previous stargate series is that all alien life was humanoid, except for the go'uld, who were almost always in a humanoid body anyway. Seeing as the Destiny is multiple galaxies away I hope that they encounter actual alien life forms and not just actors dressed up in costumes like has been done in so many scifi series. Sure a couple humanoid aliens would be ok, but in this series is called "universe" and if they imply that all alien life forms throughout multiple galaxies and the entire universe are all human-like, I'll be pissed.
  4. The first link talks about crashing the probe crashing into the moon to see if they can find water molecules and get new data about the surface material of the moon. The second link shows how many people were disappointed in the non-visual results of the impact because scientists were thinking there would be an impact crater and a dust plume up to six miles long projecting out from the moon.. but that didn't happen. http://www.space.com/scienceastronomy/091009-lcross-impact-wrap.html http://www.space.com/scienceastronomy/091009-lcross-impact-reaction.html And if you go to NASA's website you can see the video of it happening. http://www.nasa.gov/ Wow, I'm glad I wasn't really looking forward to seeing it happen live. Even the video clip is nothing like what I'd have expected to see. I was thinking it would have been a fluid video, but instead it seemed to look like something made on photoshop.
  5. I'm guessing BK is trying to pull an axe deodorant move. If they narrow their target audience to a more selective group, they might get improved sales from the highschool crowd. Which would then leave the moms with kids over at mcdonald's play place.
  6. I have a feeling the manga will show Ichigo flying down some building and join everyone else fighting Yammy, then a couple more chapters of hueco mundo pillars, then Urahara will show up, instant own that downsyndrome hollow arrancar, open a portal to HM and then Ichigo and everyone will pop thru the hole just in time to see everyone's crippled bodies everywhere and his hometown completely destroyed and Aizen nowhere to be found because he already made the kings key and left to an even bigger fight. And then Orihime will pull a Pain move from Naruto and revive everyone. All of that better not happen.
  7. When Madara started talking to all the kages, I expected Madara to instantly mangeko or ameratsu all them all at once as soon as they all looked at his face at the same time. wtf. He could have just owned all of them if he wanted to. And how stupid are all the kages to look a monsterously powerful sharingan user in the eye to listen to him talk. wtf. I'm glad he finally explained everything about his overall goals, but it still doesn't make sense to me as to why he'd tell all the kages. And how does Madara expect to fight a world war against all the nations with 7 bijus? He tried this a couple of times in the past against konoha and was defeated both times against the current kages of the village. Maybe he thinks that since he has 5 or 6 more bijus it'll make such a difference that he can take on all villages at once? An attack strategy like that will only work if he goes after each village one at a time. And if hes smart he'll take out all the villages right now while all the kages are out of their villages. Think about it, he could just warp himself and 5 bijus to the sand village right now, destroy it in about 10 minutes, warp to another village, repeat, so on.. all while the kages are riding horse carriages or running back to their villages. btw, I bet the writer is leaving the Kabuto/Orochimaru plot line open because once the main Madara/akatsuki plot is over and the series should end.. he'll keep the series going with an Orochimaru (with resurrected sound village) plot to take over the remains of the 4th ninja world war and become the dictator of the world.

  10. Instructions to make: Sledge's Dry Rib Rub and how to cook some pork ribs with a dry rub, smoke and no sauce! Serving size: 1 (or more if you cook more ribs) Ingredients for dry rib rub (enough for probably 2 or 3 medium sized racks of ribs) - 1/2 cup of paprika - 1/4 cup fresh ground black pepper - 1/4 cup salt (or fresh ground salt) - 2 tablespoons of onion powder - 2 tablespoons of garlic powder - 2/3 cup of firmly packed brown sugar And of course to smoke cook your ribs on your grill you'll need: - 1 1/2 to 2 1/2 pounds of pork spare ribs - A couple handfuls of flavored wood chips - A cast iron smoke box for your wood chips - A piece of aluminum foil Instructions: 1) Gather your ingredients for the rub and add them put them all into a bowl. 2) Mix all the rub ingredients together. Its best to mix it with your hands, a fork, spoon or whisk just wont work as good. 3) Rinse off your ribs and then pat them dry with a bunch of paper towels. 4) Use one hand to grab rub and drop it liberally onto both sides of your ribs, and then use your other hand to rub it in. This way if you have extra rub left over you can save it in a baggie and refrigerate it without any contamination from touching the pork. If you don't plan on saving leftover rub, just dump it all over your ribs and put it on thick! You'll want to let it really permeate the ribs now. Cover it with plastic and refrigerate it, or if your ribs are still cold from the refrigerator, let them sit on the counter for a half hour or so while you warm up the grill and soak your wood chips. 5) Put a handful or two into a bowl of water and let them soak for about a half hour. You can also turn on your grill and let it start heating up. 6) Now that the grill has heated up, put your smoker box on the far right side. Grab a handful of wet wood chips, let the wood chips drain for a minute in your hand and then put the wood chips in the smoker. Not too many tho! Those wood chips need air to burn once you put the lid on. Also, turn off the left burner. You do not want to cook your ribs over direct flame. And turn the right burner down to about a medium flame. 7) Before you put your ribs on the grill, lightly tap the ribs on its sides to get any excess rub off. Excess rub will look like dry patches of rub if as long as you let it soak into the ribs like I said. Now put the lid on your smoke box and put your ribs on the grill. 8) Look at those ribs one more time because you won't be looking at them again for a while Close that grill and walk away for an hour. Within a half hour you'll probably see a light smoke coming out of the grill, you shouldn't have any flare ups because the ribs are not over direct heat. And by leaving the grill down for a full hour the grill will be cooking more like an oven and the smoke from the smoke box will circulate inside the grill filling the ribs with more flavor. 9) An hour later, I flipped the ribs and added another small handful of fresh chips to the now fully burnt looking chips inside the smoke box. And now close that grill and let it cook for 1 more hour. 10) After two hours of total cooking time, your ribs should be fully done. You can check with a meat thermometer, pork is well done at 170 degrees. When you take the ribs off the grill, immediately wrap them in aluminum foil and let them sit on a plate for a good 15 minutes. This lets the ribs reabsorb their moisture and allows more flavor to fully saturate the meat. If you don't wrap it in foil, the moisture will evaporate and collect on the plate. So wrap it! 11) After 15 minutes, look at those ribs! 12) Cut them into portions and look at the juicy results! 13) Feel free to use a sauce on the side, but these ribs have all the flavor and tender flavor you need! 14) Eat! This rub is a good sweet and spicy mix, but next time I cook ribs like this, I think I'll use a full cup of brown sugar to sweeten the rub a bit more. These ribs turned out quite good, but I think I still prefer my other rib recipe over this one... probably because its less time consuming and easier. Heres a link to my other rib recipe: St. Louis style ribs
  11. So I noticed my muffler was sounding louder than usual and I knew there was a small hole right on the end of it. So I bought a tube of muffler/exhaust patch goop and took pictures of my patch job. Make sure your car has been off for quite a while before doing this yourself. Your exhaust pipe and muffler should be cold when using this stuff because heat will only harden the goop too fast and you risk burning yourself. So yeah, to do this job yourself, all you need is the following: 1 tube of Exhaust system joint & crack sealer (purchased at NAPA for $2.95 or so) 1 throwaway latex glove (purchased at NAPA or walmart, an entire package for a few dollars, usually near the toilet scrubbers at walmart or auto chemical section) 1 can of brakekleen or any brand of spray on brake parts cleaner (all you need is a couple sprays out of it for this). ($3) Here is the hole in my muffler. Here is a pic of the Exhaust system joint & crack sealer that I used. Autozone or Advance Auto Parts probably have the same brand or something similar. Here is the hole in my muffler after I sprayed it with some brakekleen to get the harmful chemicals off it. Then I let it air dry and then sandpapered it lightly to remove excessive rust or grime. Then I sprayed it again with more brakleen and let it dry once again so the goop will stick good. And just as I was about to put the goop on, I noticed this hole, and yes those are metal coat hangers holding up my muffler, the strap rusted away about six months ago. LMAO, holy shit! No wonder it got so loud! X'D So I put on the throwaway blue rubber glove and smeared some sealer onto the hole. I also cleaned, sanded (And wow, after rubbing it lightly with the sandpaper it became an even bigger hole) and then cleaned the huge hole and smeared almost the entire tube all over the hole. Since the sealer goop starts stiffening rather quickly, it was easy to just keep applying blobs to the edges of the hole, let it harden slightly and then just keep building on that edge until it covered the entire hole. Because it kept wanting to cling to my finger and reopen the hole when I touched it, I had to let it dry for an hour and apply another layer over top of it to finish the patch. I then let it sit over night and it was noticeably quieter the next day. Not normal of course. If all I had was just that little hole, once it was patched, you would think the muffler was new. But that huge gaping hole affects the noise the muffler makes now. I'll have to get a new muffler soon, but at least until I do it doesn't sound like I'm driving some old diesel truck down the road. X'D Btw, if you have a small hole like the one on the end of my muffler on any part of your exhaust pipe, do this quick easy fix yourself and it'll cut back on alot of noise.
  12. That Naruto one is damn good. But that Berserk, awesome.
  13. My mom sent this to me in an email. It cracked me up when I first read it. X'D
  14. http://www.icv2.com/articles/news/15969.html Would you watch a new Voltron? I probably will.

  16. (Here's the reply the teacher received the following day) Dear Mrs. Jones, I wish to clarify that I am not now, nor have I ever been, an exotic dancer. I work at Home Depot and I told my daughter how hectic it was last week before the blizzard hit. I told her we sold out every single shovel we had, and then I found one more in the back room, and that several people were fighting over who would get it. Her picture doesn't show me dancing around a pole. It's supposed to depict me selling the last snow shovel we had at Home Depot. From now on I will remember to check her homework more thoroughly before she turns it in. Sincerely, Mrs. Smith
  17. I bet he'll just poof into his black hole eyeball and warp themselves to some safe place. Hes probably trying to get everyone to do a united army to try and take him down, that way he can wipe out all his enemies at the same time.
  18. An update. To bleed air out of the power steering system you have to turn the wheel back and forth without hitting the absolute left and right stops. Thats what I was doing the day I got it to work. After I patched it, I put fluid in, but it overflowed because of the air in the system. It was a real bitch to purge the air out initially because it had no power steering at all after my patch job. I had to keep putting the truck in drive, then reverse, and pull like hell on the steering wheel back and forth in small increments while moving the car forward and reverse in my driveway until the PS finally purged the air and then kicked on. While I was doing that the service engine soon light was on and after that is when I posted the last reply. The next day, I turned the car back on and everything seems to be working good. The service engine soon light went off too. I'm guessing it was on because of the pressure issues in the power steering system. So I let the car sit overnight to see if more air in the PS system would rise to the surface, which it did. I added slightly more fluid and the PS system isn't making anymore noise and the service engine soon light didn't come on. So then I drove it the next city over, did some shopping and errands and I didn't see any noticeable problems or new leaks. The only thing I haven't done yet is take in on the highway. Other than that I'm feeling more confident that the problem is fixed now. *knocks on wood*
  19. Those look damn nice. Ugh I wish we could afford a new car. x_x Well, even tho we decided to sell it, we can't take the roughly $2000 loss on the trade in. x_x Not only that, but we figure that with NY state's 6 months of snow a year, we might as well keep it just for winter purposes. I remember at least 10 times last winter where I could not have made it to work unless I had 4x4. \ I hate the fucking winters here. To trade it in would be a $2000 loss.. fuck. I know vehicles lose their value over the years, but to owe that much more on the loan than what the vehicle is worth is a kick in the balls.
  20. Anyone else catch the first episode last night? I'll have to give it a couple more episodes to really see what the series will be like. The Destiny looks like its huge. I wonder what size it is compared to Atlantis. But I thought it was pretty awesome that the ship has been traveling through multiple galaxies. I wonder if the series will only take place in one galaxy or if they'll have chunks of time traveling through the vast spaces between them. Interesting so far.
  21. Sweet, I'll have to check out Passengers. Last night we watched the 2 hour episode of Stargate Universe. It seemed short because of the constant commercials. I'll have to watch a couple more episodes to actually see what the show will be like because all they accomplished in the first episode is the ground work of how they got on the ship they're stuck on. Mythbusters marathon is on all day. I have it on in the background. New episodes finally start this wednesday.
  22. Glen Beck was on the cover of Time magazine the other day. I picked it up and skimmed through the article to the end of it. Turns out hes making roughly $3 million a year from his website and $2 million a year from fox news. And thats not counting his book sales, appearances, etc. In the article it says that the main strategy for his success is that the more critizism he gets from people, the more loyal his actual fan base becomes. It also said that a recent campaign against his advertisers resulted in some of his advertisers dropping him, but his ratings went through the roof because his name was being tossed around all over the internet. And he wants more people to hate him because it just makes more ratings for him. All he seems to care about is making money. The time article writer even said that a couple years ago a show like his would get canceled, but in todays times its all about ratings and money. And what if his kind of news becomes the new standard, instead of the media controlling us with just fear, it'll make us all rage.
  23. I haven't seen The Source, and I bet I won't now. X'D I wouldn't mind seeing a tween idol like Zac Efron get his head cut off tho.
