  1. I wonder why the hell they'd want everyone to test a months old build of the game. I'll get in the beta this weekend and see what its like. I like a decent challenge to a boss, but not raid difficulty. But if the boss is mostly just a HP sponge like some higher end GW2 fractals it can get a bit tedious. I wish companies would quit with the pvp esports bullshit and just focus on pve solo / co-op.
  2. Wow. The grenades are that weak now? And supers taking up to 15 mins to charge? Holy hell. I didn't like the fact that sniper rifles were considered heavy now, but from that wall of text it seems like they either need to do some serious balancing or they're planning on making armor the new RNG grind by having different perks on all the armor to buff specific weapon classes. If they do that it'll make the entire transition from RNG roll guns pointless when everyone will have to keep multiple sets of armor in their inventory to buff the specific guns they want to use for a specific strike or mission.
  3. LMAO! Thats exactly where I died in the game. What a load of BS that was. I think on PS4 it was pushing the analog stick left, up, or right and I stood there waiting to hit X or Triangle like every other QTE.
  4. My new kitten Maggie is not giving me an ounce of privacy or free time. x_x We have been slowly integrating her in with our dogs and after the last couple days they seem to be getting along just fine now. We had to take her to the vet a few days ago to check her spay operation from the shelter. It was slightly infected. -_-; She got antibiotics, a fresh staple and has had a cone on her head since then and it won't come off for another week. She likes to knock over everything and almost spilled my glass of water on my laptop. x_x

Exactly. XD Thankfully she is showing no interest in electronic cables unless they are in her way. x_x But she has a fascination for anything white. She has tried to destroy both of my white ear bud sets, has attacked white shoe laces and knocked over a bunch of my work papers and proceeded to bite the papers until I threw a toy for her. x_x

  5. That random QTE crap always gets me at least once every game. I'll buy this on PS4 next time it goes on sale since I have the rest of the games on there too.
  6. Thanks for taking the time to write up those reviews. If I get the time over the next couple days I'll try out the public beta to see how the hunter class handles now. The warlock will definitely be nerfed by full release. lol. I couldn't imagine all of pvp being nothing but a single class.
  7. You're welcome. those pads make all the difference for potty training. I've seen ppl use newspaper in a training area and what a mess that is. Those pads are worth the price for the cleanliness factor. Btw one other bit of advice I learned and wish i knew when initially potty training dogs.. if there is an accident on carpet or a rug, clean it with cold water never hot water. Preferably with a bissell carpet cleaner and not a steam cleaner. Hot water activates the chemicals in the urine to bond with the carpet fibers and makes the stink and stain way way harder to get out. And if there's a residual smell from an accident the dog will be instinctually attracted to pee on that same spot over and over again. Is this your first dog or have you had other fur babies before?
  8. Whenever we potty train a dog we use Puppy pads and poop pick up bags: https://www.walmart.com/ip/Out-Moisture-Lock-Training-Pads-50-ct/50103910 https://www.walmart.com/ip/Out-Rainbow-Pick-Up-Bags-120ct/15204545 Any pees on the puppy pads are easily thrown in the garbage and have no real odor since they have odor lock. Poops outside (or poops on the puppy pad) get bagged up and put into a small plastic garbage can outside dedicated just for the poop bags. These poops bags have never once torn on me compared to cheap ones from the dollar store. These puppy pads are far superior to paper towels to for cleaning up accidents too for quick spot cleaning a carpet until you can hit the spot with a carpet cleaner. My brother potty trained his 3 boxers in the same way, except his garbage can outside is a full 30 gallon size with garbage bags and he uses a shovel instead of poop bags. I have no idea about the quality of some of the products on that link. The fake turf with grass would probably work for small dogs for a bit, but then there would be the urine odor lingering. The poop septic thing sounds very off to me.. if that thing isn't fully sealed, heavy rain could flood it and make a disaster in the yard. I prefer to keep it simple. Puppy pads, poop bags and a spray bottle of windex antibacterial cleaner with paper towels to clean any surface contamination.
  9. It sounds like Atari has no idea what they're actually making. I'm assuming it's going to be a retro console with more games available via an online marketplace. Source: http://kotaku.com/this-is-an-ataribox-whatever-that-is-1796979958
  10. 1 year later and I got around to playing Wolfenstein: The Old Blood and beating it. It was a fun game but not nearly as long or plot oriented as The New Order. The nostalgia effect of having the old 8-bit game as Nightmare levels was amazing tho. This was easily a stand alone game because of it's length. I beat it in just under 10 hours and I only accomplished 65% of the game since I didn't collect everything available or do any of the challenges.
  11. The power of friendship prevails in Fairy Tail and the bad guy was defeated. -_-; *slow clap* One chapter left for the epilogue. This guy hasn't drawn a hentai inspired chapter in a long while so I'm going to assume it'll end with a bunch of fan service at this point.

I mention Naruto and One Piece since they're the only other long running series I've cared about. I guess Berserk should be included to but its only a long running series because the guy makes 1-2 chapters every 5 years. -_-; i tried reading hajime no ippo but f*ck that. It's somehow longer than one piece and shows no sign of ending. I loved the anime tho.

    2. Strider Hiryu

      Strider Hiryu

Considering what I know of One Piece I'd have to agree as it's quite obvious he's working toward a set goal (I still need to sit down and watch it as well as get caught back up on the manga (I believe I got to chapter 30 or 40 before I quit reading due to other concerns) as everything he does feels planned (by what I've read and heard from others). I can't comment much on Naruto as the only chapter I've read is the final one but again it seemed he knew where he was going from the get go (the anime on the other hand didn't seem like it knew where it was going).

Yea, I need to get back into reading Berserk (I stopped reading at volume 9 but I do have up to volume 35 downloaded) and start reading Five Star Stories (you think Berserk is bad, the author for FSS went on a 9 year hiatus before he started up again in 2015 (stopped in 2006) and the manga has been going on since 1986, I think he's currently on hiatus again).

lol. wow. XD It took Gutts and the group 9 years of manga chapters to get to the current island they're on.. take your time reading it, you'll catch up and then wait 8 more years for more progress to be made.

  12. Thanks for the info! My hands aren't steady enough to get a consistent edge at all. That KME system looks extremely effective and the reviews with pics on Amazon show perfect factory style edges which makes my recently sharpened blades looks extremely crude and caveman like by comparison. But damn that's costly. $200 is way to high for me. If I had blades that costed more than the sharpener then it could be worth it. That work sharp field sharpener looks good but I think I'll go for a cheap whetstone as my next sharpener. I've sen some use oil instead of water, I think I'll go for a water based one over oil so it'll be less cost over the long term. I use my bench grinder to sharpen my lawn mower blade, axe and machete once a year or every couple years depending on use but I bet with a whetstone or with that KME system i could get my machete edge to sword quality. Lol.
  13. I'm not really a knife guy, so I don't know much about how to properly sharpen a knife aside from using the honing steel that came with my knife block. Over the last year I've been annoyed as all hell with my knives not keeping an edge worth a damn. They're all dull as hell but instead of buying another set of knives I decided to buy a knife sharpener. I bought this and got in the mail today from amazon: https://www.amazon.com/Lansky-3143-PS-MED01-BladeMedic/dp/B0085PPSIQ/ I only have a cheap $60 set of knives to sharpen that I originally bought from walmart over 8 years ago. This thing does the job. I watched some videos about sharpening with it and that carbide part shreds metal off my blades at a surprising rate. From the 3 blades I've sharpened so far, they were so dull that they needed to be passed through that carbide part at least 10 times with moderate pressure. Now my steak knives can actually cut through a steak again. lol. But after seeing how much metal comes flying off these blades I was thinking about getting a whetstone for next time. Does anyone have experience with using knife sharpeners? Any recommendations for whetstones? The ceramic part on this sharpener is no where near as aggressive as the carbide part, but I have a couple decent paring knives that I'd rather never use on this because of how small they are and I want to keep all the metal on them.
  14. Same here. I'd always find them next to the pickles and on the same shelf with the ketchup. If I go to walmart, the tomatoes will be across from the lettuces and near the bananas and potatoes. At my local store the tomatoes are right next to the lettuces, apples, oranges, etc. But over at the wegmans store the tomatoes are near the grapes and all the other fresh fruit. All the canned tomatoes are all sold with the pasta sauce and noodles. If I remember right, the soups are across from that with the canned veggies somewhere further off or in a different isle.
  15. I'm adopting a cat from the shelter. :D We went there last saturday and picked her out. A little kitten 4 months old. We're waiting to hear back from the place about when to pick her up. They give her full vaccinations, spay and a month of flea treatment. They have to spay her before they can release her to us, so we just gotta wait a few more days to find out when we can get her. They got hit with multiple large hoarding cases recently of saved animals and theres alot of volunteers there now. I hope this shelter doesn't screw this up. We have little cat toys and a new litter pan all ready for her.

ROTFLMAO! XD Oh screw that. Contacts and allergies would never work for me. XD

God I'd love to have a cat/kitten but like both of you I'm allergic (and not mildly, I've almost been run to the hospital more than once due to an allergic reaction brought on by a cat). It fucking sucks because cats adore me and always come near me (and I have to pet them because KITTY!). I am thinking of getting a Siberian in the future though pending on whether I can handle their fur or not (they're one of the 5 breeds that don't set off most people allergies that are allergic to cats. Sadly they're also $1200 for a kitten from a breeder).

I can handle dogs fine (though I am mildly allergic). It's a good thing because I get stuck watching my parents dog quite a bit (cute little scamp but annoying as all hell).

That's one expensive cat breed. O_O

We got the phone call earlier today... We get to pick up our kitty some time tomorrow. :D

  16. After looking at that pizza again its pretty nasty. lol. Sliced pork, shrimp and raw pineapple looks like a horrible combo. My favorite pizza with pineapple on it isn't sold in NY state. I'd have to go back to Ohio or some other state to get to a Donatos so I could order a "Hawaiian Pizza". Their hawaiian pizza has shaved ham, pineapple, almonds and cinnamon. It sounds horrible, but my god it is delicious. This is the best pic I can find of it online: Hmm. I never realized its a fruit. lol. I like getting cans of black olives to put in salads, but I don't care for green olives at all. But in the grocery store the cans of olives aren't located with the other canned fruit, but tomatoes are sold right along with apples and bananas. Ewww.. Peanut butter with sliced banana is the superior sandwich. (at least when I was a kid.)
  17. Back when I was a kid my dad would make pizza every friday. While I loved having pizza, after the first 10 years of pepperoni or cheese pizza once a week I got a bit bored and tried to be creative with some extra toppings. I was young and tried a bunch of stuff. I loved putting bananas on my pizza. The combo with pineapple doesn't sound appealing tho. Bananas and pepperoni went good together at the time. But I also liked to occasionally put some Oreo pieces on my pizza too. I bet it all tastes disgusting to me now.
  18. I only bought the $1 minimum of the first capcom bundle so most of these games I don't own yet, except for Strider. And I do have Resident Evil HD remaster on PS4 through PS+.
  19. https://www.vg247.com/2017/07/11/destiny-2-contains-so-much-story-content-bungie-hopes-people-complain-about-it/ lmao. I guess they finally decided to ditch the grimoire cards and put the story in the actual game.
  20. https://www.humblebundle.com/capcom-rising-bundle This looks like good capcom deal. A bunch of Resident Evil and Dead Rising games. I love killing zombies.
  21. Knight Rider is classic. Now heres a really old one.. I've watched every episode of MASH. My parents loved that show when I was a kid. And MacGyver was amazing and inspired the hell out of Mythbusters on more than one occasion. Richard Dean Anderson was also in Stargate SG-1 for multiple seasons. Great scifi show: Farscape was one of the best scifi shows ever made. Its a shame its left netflix earlier this year. I'd like to buy it on bluray at some point.
  22. Until Dawn looks good and I'll play Game of Thrones.
  23. Ohhhh.. Theres an Outlaw Star blu-ray boxset now.
  24. I watched this last night. It was enjoyable but way too short. I'd have rather waited another 6 months for a full season than get 4 episodes of an incomplete story. The voice acting wasn't that good and shifted way to much in volume from normal talking to whisper dialogue that had no reason to be whisper quiet. The action scenes were good but it felt like they spent as much time falling as they did fighting. Lol. I'm looking forward to season 2 but it needs to be more than 4 eps.
