217 came out a little while ago (maybe a couple days, I didn't look too much into it). You're up to the current episodes and the episodes come out once a week in japan. so 218 should be out around this same time next week. But you can usually check the ending preview of an episode to see if any time slot changes or special episodes are coming up.

Yeah, Vaan and Penelo seemed pointless in the game. Vaan stuck around because he had the shard, but once that was gone I saw no real purpose for them to continue on the adventure with Ashe except for maybe loyalty to the throne.. but they didn't emphasize it in the slightest. And Penelo pretty much said: "wherever Vaan goes, I'm going too." okay... yeah.. There was no backstory to either of those characters, except that Vaan's brother served in the army and was murdered. Balthier and Fran were the best characters and they hinted at Balthier's past repeatedly in the game. He was the single character with the deepest plotline and most personality. Basch was a good character too but he was really nothing more than a sword for Ashe. And maybe if they put more emphasis on Vaan wanting to be Balthier's sky pirate apprentice, it would have made more sense for Vaan to continue traveling with them. I always thought it was funny when anyone in the game referred to them as Vaan's group.. when Vaan was the second most pointless character in the game next to Penelo. I did like the graphics in the game and the fact that so many characters and enemies could be in an area with a moveable camera must have really pushed the PS2 capabilities to its limits. The character models did need some work tho. Aside from Basch, their costumes and Fran's ass, the entire party was pretty ugly. The rest of the in game models were pretty slick, most enemies and the airships looked bad ass and the chocobos looked awesome too. but, I am highly disappointed in the summons. They were about as useful as the summons in Kingdom Hearts 1. they never got more powerful and they were pointless in boss fights because they were often killed in just a hit or two.

Does it matter which order I watch Turn A or Gundam X in.. does one come before the other? oh! aside from the crappy zeta movies I probably won't bother with, what gundam movies would you guys recommend I watch that are good? Do any of the movies have Char or Amuro in them? I wished Amuro would have had a bigger role in Zeta.. hes probably my favorite character with Char as a close second.

I've almost drove into a ditch a couple times while changing a cd in my car stereo. and my neighbor slammed his SUV into a wooden fence/ditch because his slipper fell off his foot. I wonder if they should enforce a footwear law for driving a vehicle.

ah... btw, how good are the Zeta movies? are they worth watching and does any include Camille all messed up? and what series takes place immediately after Zeta? I was thinking about watching some other series while I wind down from all the gundam I've been watching.. but when I start back up, I already have Gundam X downloaded and ready to watch.

Ball joints, ouch. I'm guessing they found that out when they were about to do the alignment. Most places won't even do an alignment if your ball joints are shot.. that sucks to find that out. but at least you found out about the ball joints now, if one of those failed or cracked on you one of your tires could have flown right off your vehicle while you were driving. \ Some scrap yards might have a replacement window you could use for pretty cheap, but you'll usually have to do the work of taking it off the scrap caravan and then putting it on your own ride. its usually pretty damn cheap tho.. assuming you have the time, tools and experience doing it (or maybe a friend that does). but if you're leaving for texas soon, then that option is probably a bust. I'd probably sell the thing after you get there. If you already are doing a tire rod and ball joints, the clutch and/or transfer case would probably be the next thing to go. \

I finished Zeta Gundam tonight. At one point I was getting a bit annoyed with the length of the series how it seemed to be going slow, but the last ten episodes really tied the series together. So many people died. and in the end with Camille... Overall, I think the series was pretty powerful, but I'm still confused as to what the overall motives were of the three main forces. The Titans were looking for complete control over everything?.. The Axis wanted the Zabi family to regain power and re-establish the Zeon republic and then nuke earth? and the AUEG wanted to stop the Titan's brutal control? and then Char at one point gave a speech about how humanity is polluting earth? so did the AUEG want people to move into space colonies and admire earth from the distance?

I think this law is just plain retarded. I think a child's wellbeing should be monitored by their parents, not by a government law. If someone doesn't want their kid in the car with a smoker then they don't let them. I don't see why they have to pass a law about it. If you roll down your windows while driving down a busy street, you'll get more exhaust fumes in your vehicle than cigarette smoke.

Yeah, you missed a good marathon. \ maybe some of the eps are on youtube or something so you can catch up. The new episodes are starting this sunday. btw, we bought our BSG boxsets on amazon/borders website. Most places have the boxsets for $60, but you can get each set for about $30-$40 on amazon. oh, and the season 1 boxset includes the mini series special that started the series, so don't buy that dvd separate because you won't need it.

I liked the british voice acting done in Dragon Quest VIII, but man, FF12 has some disappointing voice acting.. What also gets me is that if you have the text at the bottom turned on, you'll see that half the time the voice actors appear to be ad libbing. Words they speak won't be in the actual game text.. and if you happen to be reading the text because you don't want to miss out on the name of some location (because everyone and everything is some made up word never spoken in english before. ), you get all frustrated because the dialogue won't match up with what you're reading.

I don't play anything online. I don't have the time to enjoy a good rpg game I have to pay money every month for. unless I only play it on the weekends for a couple hours at a time, but I guess that wouldn't work good for the people I'd play with. \ I've played starcraft and warcraft online for a few games at a time, and I used to jump into random rooms with the original half-life to kill people.. but I don't think my account on battle.net even exists anymore. you're not playing star wars galaxies anymore? did it get tedious?

We watched the Davinci Code last weekend and I thought it was a decent movie, but the latter half went by so slow and I started loosing interest after they showed silas and the priest get shot and that Magneto (sorry, I can't remember the character's name), was actually the teacher and set everything up. The movie lost all it's excitement and mystery after that. and when they showed that the girl was a descendant of Jesus, it wasn't surprising in the least. I never read the book, so I'm assuming the book must have been better... I did like Tom Hank's performance tho, but many scenes seemed so unemotional and at times it felt like I was watching a history or discovery channel special.

I had no idea that InuYasha or any other anime was even dubbed into english by another studio in another country. I suppose it makes sense because all the studios up here have north american rights.. wow. I wouldn't mind watching an ep or two of the different dub version to see the difference. After watching the anime subtitled for the last 3 seasons of the show I really started to like the japanese voices much better. InuYasha will growl when hes pissed, and his emotions are better when he shouts KAZE NO KIZU! I always liked the NA english version of InuYasha, but I started hating it pretty bad when they got into the Bankotsu saga.

I was disappointed with this movie. The entire plot was ripped off the movie The 13th Warrior, except they replaced Buliwuf with Beowulf and the mist monsters with Grendel. I was hoping to see some new rendition of the Beowulf story, kind of like how the old movie Beowulf with Christopher Lambert put a new twist on it with the setting, characters, etc. that movie also had superior action in it. but in the end Grendel felt like a rehash of two good movies thrown into one with nothing really going for it except mildly decent acting (better acting than most scifi b movies), and a good costume designer and set. The thing that annoyed me most was the action scenes. They obviously didn't spend much money on the screenplay, so theres no real excuse why they couldn't have spent more money on their action scenes. It felt like I was watching someone play pokemon stadium, except with more violence. The camera would zoom in on Grendel, Grendal does an attack, camera switches to Beowulf to gets hit by the attack, etc. etc. only a couple times did they actually zoom out and show interaction between their cg monster and some guys and when they did that it was only when mild interactions were taking place. Only once did they show Grendel punch into a guy at a good angle and rip out his insides, and the result was this horribly obvious cg intestines being ripped out of a 2d plane from this guys stomach area.. it was like he must have had a blue swatch of clothing on so they could edit it in. horrible. anyway, with my own ranting placed behind me now, I must say this was easily a much better movie than Dragon Fighter or most of the other movies on SciFi staring Dean Cain. X'D

I dunno if it was just me or not, but during the commercial breaks where they showed Ivanka and Trump talking about the show and the texting contest, it looked like Ivanka had a breast implant job since the filming of this season. I wouldn't mention it, but compared to her figure in the show, during the commercial appearances those things looked noticeably massive. Anyway, in the last season she did a good job at making observations as to what the teams were doing. She didn't talk as much during the tasks, but she pointed out alot of good, or should I say bad (), things about the teams in the boardroom. I hope she continues the better dialoge in this season tho. Its a shame Carolyn and George isn't there anymore tho. \ The lack of George in the series was apparent in the last season with him only being there for a few of the tasks throughout the entire season, I'd be surprised if hes even in this season at all now. \

I clicked the link earlier and saw the picture of the action figure.. it did look extremely plain.. just like you said, a black modified looking spidey suit with a venom head.. he looked muscular, but not impressive.. now the link doesn't load anything tho. I wonder if it was maybe a false product or something they shouldn't have listed? Venom should be muscularly huge. like steroid wrestler huge, maybe even bigger than that. but that toy/model was nowhere near what venom looked like from the comics. I hope they do it good in the movie. and yes, with their budget they should be able to easily do venom.. unless they screwed up by having too many special effects/characters. So many movies have been messed up by having multiple bad guys. *remembers all those batman movies* I could understand Sandman and Venom in Spider-man 3, but they also have Harry as another goblinish enemy as well. With that many enemies and that many cg character models they would have had to spend money on, I hope they didn't bite off more than they could chew with that many different enemy types.

just don't mess with the windows or program files folders and you'll be fine. One partition works out ok and you'll be able to utilize the full size of your harddrive. You could always make a folder in your c drive and organize everything in it like it was another drive. btw, did you get the larger capacity battery? We didn't think much about it, but Lady's laptop battery runs out pretty fast. If we'd have known it would run down so quick we'd have bought the larger battery. I think we'll pick another one up someday. Maybe our batteries' plus store has a good one cheaper than dell. *shrugs* oh, and go through and uninstall all their trial software they installed. It'll clear up more hard drive space. Stuff like snapfire, their microsoft office trial (unless you actually bought office thru them, its probably a trial version on your laptop, you should double check.) Theres other software too, just browse around and look at what they put on there. Also, I recommend you uninstall the mcaffee anti-virus/firewall combo they put on there and install the free antivirus avast, google it to find it, it works better, more efficient and takes up much less memory/harddrive space. oh, and install zone alarm for a fire wall. And don't forget your spamware, download and install adaware and spybot. and you should probably uninstall their games package that uses 'wildtangent', adaware constantly states that wildtangent is spyware. also, most of those games in that package are also trials.
