  1. All the skins look nice. I'm surprised the new Widowmaker skin has her in normal flesh tones.
  2. ohhhh.. Asgard has fallen? wtf?
  3. I bought this on bluray the day it released. I thought it was a great movie. Almost felt like I was watching a live action anime movie more than a Star Wars film honestly. A bunch of randoms team up, form a tight group of loyal friends while hardly knowing each other, all decide to team up and become a rouge group to save the day. Fights unbeatable enemies, somehow pulls out a victory.. all at a great cost. Thats the basis of almost every anime I've ever watched. lol.
  4. Holy crap thats pretty scathing. Maybe by the time I get to the game future patches will make it amazing.
  5. Yay! This movie will be watchable for me.
  6. That and straight up gore like Deadpool cutting off his own hand, etc. I remember when The Fifth Element came out in the late 90s and there was some slightly blurry breast nudity in it. I thought to myself at the time. "Wow.. I am really surprised this is PG-13." Thats nothing compared to what is PG-13 now.
  7. So many lately seem to be shipping in a late beta stage. Fixes like these needing to patched makes the game sound unfinished and reinforces my personal ban on preordering games anymore.
  8. I'm hoping this will encourage Square Enix to make more single player RPG/action games like NieR and the upcoming FF7 remake. If I didn't have such a backlog of games I would pick this up.
  9. The Godzooky series.. It was so horrible. x_x I'd rather watch Thundar the Barbarian again. Godzilla: The Series was good but I never finished it because it because of my schedule at the time and I didn't have DVR back then. Nigel the robot died so often it was the equivilant of Kenny from South Park. Damn it. The recent Godzilla movie made me forget this ever existed.. now I remember. Now I know what it's like for those characters in It to remember something horrible from their youth.
  10. Brendon Fraiser's best movies to me were the first 2 Mummy movies and then Bedazzled. I assumed he was going to be this big action star after the Mummy franchise but then he kind of disappeared. Yeah, the music in the trailer makes no sense for what it's showing. I'm guessing the director is a Rolling Stones fan.
  11. Tim Curry made Pennywise a memorable icon of horror for an entire generation's youth. I agree that this movie should have been rated R, but with today's standards thats mostly profanity and gore now. Pushing the boundaries of PG-13, I think it'll do the book right except for about 2 or 3 scenes. I do hope the movie follows the book more accurately, since the book was a far more terrifying version of It than how Pennywise was portrayed in the first mini series.
  12. This plot sounds amazing to me. It'll be such a drastic change for the Godzilla franchise it might finally make me forget about the Godzilla cartoon.. I don't want to put a link to a video of that cartoon because it would diminish the quality of this topic. I would also love for baby Godzilla to be re-introduced in this anime in some kind of bad ass form so I can forget this version ever existed:
  13. Looks entertaining, although I'm a bit burned out on Tom Cruise.
  14. This comic of Death Note is an amazing mash up of fairly odd parents. http://www.nerdragecomic.com/index.php?date=2017-04-01
  15. This season dragged on a bit slow for me. I'm so glad war finally broke out. All the tension can finally be released next season. Sasha was suicidal when she made up her mind to use that pill. Its a shame she wasn't able to take out Negan with her. Michonne got beat the hell up, and man, I'd have been a bit pissed if she had died. But when Negan said he was going to kill Carl, I thought.. ok, at least I wont have to look at his hair anymore. And when it looked like Eugene was about to explode, it didn't bother me at all. lol. His character turned Negan-cran. I was really surprised that more main cast members or regulars didn't get killed in the season finale.
  16. Hey now, we're talking about activision here. Lets not forget that Call of Duty Ghosts was built with a "new engine" also: This is another reason why I'm taking anything about Destiny with a grain of salt. I won't fall into any more Bungie hype again.
  17. Any single episode of Badlands has far superior fight choreography than what takes place in the entire Iron Fist series. x_x
  18. It looks great to me. The original It mini series was good but when compared to the book it was lacking alot of details and horror. I am surprised they didn't show any of the characters as adults in the trailer. The biggest plot line of the book was that it was practically one big flash back. After their ordeal with It as children they all lost their memories until It returned when they were adults, then started murdering again. Maybe this movie will focus solely on the childhood encounter? If thats the case I'm expecting a bit of a Stranger Things vibe from this since it would have taken place in the 80s.
  19. LMAO! I meant to say Sony. It does look way better than anything Fox has done too.
  20. If Destiny 2 is using the same engine as Destiny 1, then it'll probably be a direct sequel and take place in the same solar system and on the same planets. Hopefully theres more cities to explore with npcs and more RPG elements. If they shift from endless gear grinding to an end game fashion wars style, I could get interested. But endless gear grinding with every dlc and having top level weapons locked behind raids again will make this game completely unappealing to me.
  21. This came out on netflix last week and I finished it up about a week ago. Its the fourth series in the Marvel/Netflix deal leading up to the fifth series called "Defenders" that will have Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage and Iron Fist in it. Those first three series were highly enjoyable and well made. I don't think I made a topic for each one but perhaps I will. The special effects, characters, plot and abilities of the heroes and villains in each of those series were well thought out and executed.. But then we have Iron Fist. Honestly this show was a huge let down. From what I remember in the comics and cartoons, Iron Fist was a smart ass guy with a sense of humor.. and is supposed to be the best fung fu master on the planet worthy of the power of the Iron Fist. In this series Danny Rand aka Iron Fist is a complete mess. He was raised by monks in a monastery for 15 years and instead of becoming an amazing kung fu master in full control of his body and mind he is a psychological mess with constant PTSD issues. wtf. The actor also appears to have done all his own stunt work which includes yellow belt kung fu lessons and no full length leg extensions on kicks. wtf. I was expecting some Jackie Chan or Bruce Lee action considering they are/were kung fu legends in my mind. Instead of amazing fight choreography like I'd see in either of their movies, we get the equivilant of a guy looking homeless half the movie getting into random fights with minimal kicking. Its not just the fights that are bad, but the acting and characters are worse. They repeat everything. I heard "I"m the Iron Fist" at least 5 times per episode.. I'm not kidding. Every character counterdicts themselves. One episode they'll talk about honor, the next they're doing illegal activities. One minute Danny Rand wants to get control of his father's company, the next he completely abandons it. One episode a character is emotionally torn about Danny, the next episode they betray him.. again.. and again, like a game of tennis. I don't know who was in charge of this show but it was horrible. The worst part of the entire series was the emphasis on the multi million dollar corporation he somehow still had legal rights to after being declared dead over 15 years ago. At least half the series was focused on board rooms and the fate the company that overall had no significant impact on the actual series. Imagine a Batman movie where half the movie was Bruce Wayne and, alot of screen time on his associates, making business decisions about Wayne Enterprises. Who needs action and kung fu in an action based kung fu series when we can instead sit here and watch people squabble about the price of the drugs they're manufacturing and whose in control of the company. Ehhhhh. Daredevil had a bit too much courtroom drama with the lawyer aspect of it, but in the end it kind of worked since it was a build of Punisher having his own series. In Iron Fist, I suppose this boardroom crap and the lack of a single major enemy throughout the series for Iron Fist to fight against was more of a build up to Defenders than a standalone series.
  22. This is noticeably a marvel made Spider-Man movie and looks far superior to the previous movies Fox has made.
  23. I like at the end of the trailer at the bottom it says "Not actual gameplay footage".. the trailer also doesn't hint at any plot or promise anything big and emphasizes only shooting people. The first honest trailer I've ever seen of Destiny. lol.
  24. Well I went to watch the first episode of One Punch Man last night and its sub only on Netflix. I don't know why this article and others are saying the dub is on Netflix when it isn't.
  25. My OCD has gotten the better of me again. I've been marathoning Guild Wars 2 so I can finish making the legendary raven staff Nevermore. The process of making this has so many parts and is so time consuming. I'm definitely finishing this now. Its definitely the most difficult and time consuming thing I've done in this game but its making me feel a real connection to the weapon. When I see other ppl that have it I'll know they went on that same journey. Its a pretty cool feeling. Its a bit of a shame the newer legendary weapons won't be made in the same way, but if they were I know I wouldn't put this much time into another one. The tier 4 collection is crazy.. I got a Raven egg, imbued it with power from numerous places, made an incubation chamber, hatched it and now I'm feeding it and teaching it to fly by doing specific events with alot of gliding. This is a cool experience. :D Once I'm done raising it, it'll actually become part of my living weapon. :D

Nier and ME have been relaxing after I grinded out machined weapons. I'm taking a break until LWS3. I'll get in some SAB here and there, but that took a toll on me.

I finished up my Gift of the Raven. I still have to turn it into the Gift of Nevermore which isn't difficult at all at this point. I wanted that part done before SAB started. I hope they patched the exploit of selling tribulation runs. They allowed the selling of trib runs last year but said they would patch it. Since they allowed it I went ahead and bought all the runs of world 2 that I needed to get all the green weapon skins and the red SAB infusion. If its not patched I might feel torn about buying all the runs I'd need for the yellow skins just to get the blue SAB infusion.. I'd feel torn about it because I'm a bit burned out on infusions now, but the blue one would actually look decent with my fractal back piece. XD But I also have just enough gold left to finish Nevermore.. lol. I hope it's patched. XD

Make sure to do your daily 3 SAB events like last year for the multiple daily meta achieve. I got a late start on it last year and only got 1 of the kaiser weapon skins. If we do the SAB daily every day this festival we should be able to get at least 2 kaiser / crimson skins. I'm really interested in seeing what the big SAB reward track chest will have for pvp or wvw. If the finisher is in there as a reward I'll start doing my pvp again.

I'm glad I finished Nevermore and got my Daredevil equipped with it. So many Spirit Raven effects on critical hits. I love it. XD
