The multi arm chaotic spell caster and the mushroom guy that throws knives looks pretty cool to me. I looked into battleborn when I first heard about it but I haven't seen much about it lately. Is it being promoted more for a pvp game or is there a horde mode of some kind I saw in that trailer? If there is a campaign I'd be very interested in this. If not, it could still be alot of fun. If I have the time this weekend I'll try the beta.

I'll try and throw together a few images tomorrow of tips and tricks that I've discovered already. Like quick navigation on the phone is the top right image. Click it and you can go to the notifications, forums, gallery, private messages, etc. Another simple thing is that if you want to quote just a part of someone's post, literally highlight the part you want to quote in that person's post with your mouse and a little icon will pop up that you can click to quote just what you have highlighted. So much more convenient than editing out text. -

This software works way better on mobile now. The site is coded to auto adapt to the size of the screen. Shrink this window down on your PC and you'll see it automatically adjust to mobile view. No more mobile only theme that looks like crap. There are two themes available again at the bottom left of the screen. Chameleon Dark (the default theme) and Chameleon (the light version). The editor and auto embedding works much better too. Right after you type in a smilie code and hit the space bar, the editor auto inserts the smilie right into the post as you are typing. Same with embedding a youtube video. No more having to make the post to see the end result and then having to edit to fix something. -
The Walking Dead Season 6 Discussion (Possible Spoilers)
Sledgstone replied to DeathscytheX's topic in Movies, TV & Books
I'm half expecting it to be Maggie or Glenn at this point. All the times Glenn could have died but didn't.. Maggie getting pregnant, them finding a doctor and actually getting a sonogram. Its all too good to be true for them. We got this build up of happiness with the two of them and I think if either one of them is the victim the other will die in that same episode. If Glenn is killed, Maggie will probably die from whatever medical complication she is having, and if Maggie was killed, Glenn will definitely try to kill Negan and get himself killed in the process. -
Apocalypse just doesn't look impressive to me. :\

Upgrade complete! I still have some bugs to work out. Tags did not upgrade correctly, especially on the blogs. There are some transparency issues with the themes, they're supposed to be more transparent. The background selector does not work currently and I'll be throwing some new backgrounds on the site every once in a while that will be focused on games or movies that have a bunch of hype. Also, there are no more friends on this site. Instead of the friends, you can go to someone's profile and "follow them" to get notified when they post something. -
Upgrading this site took way longer than I thought it would. Good luck to all those people using this software on crappy hosts with outdated php.

Second part of the upgrade is done. Had to get software on the server upgraded so some of the new functions of ipb will work. Next upgrade will happen sometime this late afternoon / early evening and will require the site to go into offline mode during that time while the core forum software is upgraded. -

Btw statuses will work a bit different now. As far as I know, posting a status or replying to one will redirect you to the page the status is located at as opposed to just posting it in a easy little drop down box from the main page. At least this way it should stop that cut off issue we all got used to. -

Just a heads up. I had some issues with my SEO settings earlier. Everything is fine now but if you see odd urls while visiting this site like: "frontpage.html" or "index" instead of forums, please clear your browser history and it'll all go back to normal. -
With the new upgrade coming profiles and status messages will most likely become public until I find a way to implement some new privacy options. Depending on how viable that is, I might just leave it all public regardless. Currently these are blocked off to guests but are available to regular members. If there are any status updates you would like to delete please do so. Or if you want, I can delete all your status updates for you. Please give me your opinion on this as this upgrade will be happening in 24-48 hours (unless I screw something up. lol.)

Junkrat looks like a character I'd enjoy playing. That explosive wheel reminds me too much of my favorite little EOD bot from battlefield and the traps and explosives he uses looks like they'd be alot of fun.

The Walking Dead Season 6 Discussion (Possible Spoilers)
Sledgstone replied to DeathscytheX's topic in Movies, TV & Books
I can't believe they didn't show us who got killed off.. x_x While watching Talking Dead it doesn't look like the actors themselves will find out until they start shooting the next season. I liked Jeffrey Dean Morgan on Supernatural and in Watchmen. I always thought he was a great actor and he knows how to play an evil bastard. -
I gave "The Guild" another shot. I tried watching it before but I didn't get into based on the first episode. I watched all 6 seasons on netflix and I have not laughed so hard in forever. This show was hilarious. What a great cast of characters. And half of them were some of the worst people ever.

Star Wars: The Force Awakens (spoilers)
Sledgstone replied to DeathscytheX's topic in Movies, TV & Books
You make a good point about the First Order already being an established organization. The more I think about it, the more I'm starting to believe that the First Order might have a been a separate imperial faction from the rest of the empire to begin with. It could be Snoke's own personal army like the Resistance is Leia's. When Palpatine died and the war ended, the rest of the Imperial grand admirals were, possible still are, fighting over territory and having power struggles in the Empire's systems all while Snoke's First Order was already established and declared itself the rulers of the Empire. The fact that he has no grand admirals or Moffs, could indicate that Snoke actually has no backing from the majority of the Empire itself. Hell, he might have had that starkiller base and a few other major WMDs as his trump card to prevent other imperial forces from trying to negate his claims. Snoke is starting to remind me of Cronal from the Shadows of Mindor novel. (amazing standalone book I highly recommend). That guy was extremely old, used a different kind of dark force power and in that novel he was considered a warlord. Not a general, admiral, moff or even a sith. Just a warlord that had his own faction of the Empire under his control. Damn good novel. If not for Snoke being an alien, I'd actually think he could be Cronal under an alias. http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Cronal- 43 replies

Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice - Official Trailer 2 [HD]
Sledgstone replied to Sledgstone's topic in Movies, TV & Books
Now I'm a bit hyped to watch this. I don't think I'll make it out to the theater tho, but I'll get my hands on this sooner or later. I hated Bale as batman. Never ending gravel voice crap and bad acting. Every other character in that batman trilogy was better than Bale's batman. And after the last movie with that horrible Bane.. ehh. I just don't understand how DC can have such amazing animated movies but screw up the characters so bad in live action. -
Star Wars: The Force Awakens (spoilers)
Sledgstone replied to DeathscytheX's topic in Movies, TV & Books
The thing about Thrawn tho, it wasn't just that he lead with an iron fist. His subordinates highly respected him. I remember a couple scenes in the novels as examples of it. There was one time one he ordered a lacky to tractor beam a ship, that ship did some shrapnel manuever to break the tractor lock and the subordinate broke the initial lock and tried doing some new algorithm to focus the beam or something and tried again, the ship got away (it had luke on it unbeknownst to them) and Thrawn called the guy out on his tractor strategy, instead of reprimanding him for breaking his order of the initial tractor beam, he praised the guy's ingenuity in front of the rest of the bridge crew because it was an example of someone trying to fulfill his order to the best of his ability. The other general on the bridge at the time served under vader and thought to himself something along the lines of.. "this is why the empire loves thrawn. He is what we need to lead us. If this was vader, that subordinate would be dead right now. Instead of following Thrawn out of fear, we follow him out of respect." and thats how awesome he was. Even as an alien he got everyone's respect. Gotta love that. btw, I know you've mentioned Thrawn a couple times now. Did he actually survive the reboot of Star Wars lore? The chiss actually still exist too? If so, thats awesome.- 43 replies

Finished my zap collection last night. That was a good challenge, except for the jumping puzzle crap. I always go OCD on the things I keep myself busy with. After I finish this legendary, I'm going to focus on updating AC next. I've put it off long enough.

Star Wars: The Force Awakens (spoilers)
Sledgstone replied to DeathscytheX's topic in Movies, TV & Books
Those are all great points and I agree with all of them. We were given so little info and so many open plot lines that I just hope these things actually get answered. The starkiller base really seems implausible for all the reasons you said. It would have made alot more sense if the first order had made the sun crusher from one of the novels. A single 1 person ship instead of a giant planet, dark energy nonsense, etc.. a single ship and they could have gotten the same amount of destruction done.- 43 replies

Star Wars: The Force Awakens (spoilers)
Sledgstone replied to DeathscytheX's topic in Movies, TV & Books
Its a shame Disney threw out all that extended lore, but at the same time I can understand why. Lucas did the same thing all the time. When he made the prequel movies, all those different novels had to retcon a bunch of stuff. It makes me think about manga to anime productions. If you read the manga, you don't need to watch the anime, since you already know whats going to happen. That thinking is the main reason why The Walking Dead is a separate production from it's comic counter part. If they followed the comic, everyone would already know the outcome of some fights and there would be spoilers galore. At least with the new Star Wars movies you'll never know whats going to happen and thats a bit refreshing. Back to the plot of the movie.. Since my last post I looked up a bunch of Star Wars the force awakens facts and bits of info that I might have missed, or I wanted to know more about. Yay for wookipedia having info the movie was very lacking on. Heres some really good info to read now that you've seen the movie:- 43 replies
