Recruit ppl instead of killing them.. Oh man.. I love killing ppl in these games tho. How much currency does it cost to do this? The upgrade to make your horse's crap super slick must cost some money to do something this hilarious. Maybe the crap can get upgraded further to make a tank spin out of control too.

I'll try it later. Necro does have huge hp but other classes like thief or ele running zerk would easily get instant killed.

Those snipers alone will break the zerker meta. Those damn things hit so hard they'd kill my reaper in a couple hits with full celestial gear on. If I had full zerk it would have one shotted me. That new map puts some lag on my laptop a little worse than silverwastes does. I'll have to turn a couple more settings down to optimize performance over fashion. Reaper is fun. It's a combo slow/fast play style compared to regular necro. The great sword is show but hits great but reaper shroud is beastly. It feels like the life force bar fills up faster than regular shroud but I could be mistaken. But with as hard hitting as that reaper shroud is, I was swapping to it every chance I could like it was a third weapon swap. I'll try berserker and daredevil today.

Axe 3 is actually pretty decent but the animation is crap. I don't know how it is on other races but my charr actually does axe 3 with the off hand weapon. If they have it 1200 range with some increase damage to skill 1 I'd be pleased. And that's not a crazy distance for a single target attack either.

It'll be nice to see a diverse group of players in a raid.. unlike most dungeons lfg.. "Warriors pls, zerk only, ping gear on join, necro get kicked" necro.. a well played necro is good in a dungeon.. as long as it isn't running axe.

I liked the space battle part.. its a shame we never actually flew our ships in space. I generally don't like watching playthroughs, but I'll watch all the raids and the 1-2 new cutscenes from taken king on youtube and save myself $50.

This is pretty huge. Now everyone can play Guild Wars 2 with their Free 2 play accounts.. About Raids: I bolded that last paragraph as it seemed to be a specific reference to Destiny's raiding system. I'm pleased with what I'm reading. It could be a inner ear issue that is balancing itself out... its crazy how an ear problem can wreck your shit and make you feel like you're dying. I had minor vertigo for 3 months and I thought I was dying.

Lady has some of those pills from her last inner ear infection and they do help. It's crazy how some horrible this dizziness can make me feel. X_x

The first episode was decent. Now that we have some back story on the characters I'm assuming the pace of the show will pick up.

Mesmer definitely has the best of all classes. It's quickly becoming a favorite of mine. I don't care for the thief pay style and elementalist and engineer sound like hell on my wrist pain. Its one of b the reasons I like warrior so much. It has a simple rotation of skills to maximize it's dps without killing my wrists after typing all day for work. But timing the right skills in pvp can be a bit more challenging than it looks. Of course in pve tho all you need to do is press 1 to win with greatsword. But the new enemies in HoT sound much more difficult than that. Necro is still fun but frustrating with so little dps and with staff being the only long distance weapon it can be aggravating at times. Basic enemies can take me a minute or 2 to kill but my warrior can just hit 1 twice and kill most things in seconds. If basic necro had more stability and dps is it'd be my favorite class.. and the reaper specialization will do that. Come on expansion. :Do Necro in gw1 was still superior tho. You had no limit on minions. With enough enemy corpses to exploit you could have an army of over 20 while syphoning hp from them and almost never dieing. That's why I'd love to see gw2 necro minions get upgraded with better ai. If we can't have a swarm of them, at least let them have as good of ai as the new hot enemies.

My money is still tight atm. I'll be preordering gw2 hot first then battlefront. Hopefully I'll get battlefront the week it launches so I don't miss much.

I bet the old raids will have their difficulty upgraded and they'll have done other new currency or loot table that gives better drops. Knowing bungie they'll probably change their mind about crap with the next dlc after taken king and slow everyone to upgrade their year 1 exotics to year 2 and by that point everyone will have destroyed all their good weapons and the select few that still had gally can upgrade them and be kings again. Eh. And I read that the light levels will still be there in taken king but now will be a separate level of power or something. So everyone can level to 40 but will still need high light to be able to access more difficult content.

As many times as I read that gally was in the random selection Xur would sell.. the only other time he finally sells it is literally right when it's getting nerfed and will be obsolete with the next dlc. There was no randomness in Xur's inventory. It was obviously picked every week. And gally was the thing that kept everyone checking back. Now that its been sold, it really is the end of "year 1". I won't stick around for year 2. Its a shame.. so much potential.. so many problems.

I logged on long enough to buy it. I equipped it and didn't feel any sense of happiness. This day could have been huge for me 6 months ago and revitalized my experience with the game. But after all this time and knowing it'll be a mostly pointless weapon in a month it feels like I'm having salt rubbed in a wound.

I'll log in and buy it just because I saved coins specifically for it for over 6 months. I'll use it once and log off.
