happy birthday Lady! *big huggs*

*snork*....why am i not surprised you're the one that pointed that out?

best to seal it up, then put a poster over it to hide the patch job....a hole like that is a good way for bugs to get it, and will make it harder to keep it heated/cooled as the comfy air escapes faster....

bah, they could never top the original....i mean, the cast is part of what made it classic!....besides, it would end up being 'toned down' to be more 'politically correct' and won't have the same punch.....><...

You've never heard of Rick Rolling? Where someone posts a link to a video about something cool (or nice boobs, really anything they think someone will click on) and it's really a link to a video of Rick Astley singing "Never Gonna Give You Up".

You just got Barak Roll'd!

Went to see it last night, and it was totally worth seeing. Christain Bale has been my favorite Batman since the last one, and this just confirms it. Heath Ledger was a GREAT Joker, and did a great job with it. My only complaint was the filmmaking itself. By the end of the movie, all the quick shot changes and rotating cameras was making me queasy. >< But it was totally worth it. One thing I've noticed about this restarting of Batman is how they're making an effort to make everyone more real. Tim Burton's Batman took a step in that direction, but there was still something fanciful and comicy about the villians. Not so, here. The villans have substance and are mostly believable. I think making that effort to ground it more in reality has helped a lot.

Well, this isn't the East Coast, I'm from WalMart country. And if you can't afford WalMart, you're pretty screwed.
-
Well, when you're making minimum wage at only 30 hours a week, that doesn't go very far. Espically since loans and grants also depend on what your parents make (until you have one degree or are 25). My mom works at WalMart and my dad was a teacher when I was in college. You think they could've afforded to help me out? Ha! Yet they still made too much for me to get a grant. I had to go with a loan when my scholarship ran out, which I am still paying back. Full time student, I didn't have a lot of extra time for a job, though I was lucky when living in the dorm b/c I always had the cafeteria to fall back on. But there a lot of colleges that only allow dorm living for the freshmen and softmores, simply because there is no room. So older students have to pay for apartments as well, and sometimes it becomes a choice of working extra hours and doing bad in class, or doing good in class and giving up things.

Yeah, what exactly does wrestling have to do with science fiction?? I honestly couldn't believe it when they started playing it, I kept expecting it to be some weird sci-fi show. Dude, that would be hilarious! Wrestlers that go out on crappy spaceships to save the world between matches.

Wasp Knife pumps killer freezing gas into unfortunate victims

And you wouldn't have to worry about Smoky anymore. *nods* -
We had one girl in one of my education classes like that. Me and another guy (who was a math major) were discussing the Day-Age theory (basicly that a day to God is a thousand thousand years to man, something like that). Anyways, he was going over some equations that supported that and we were having a good time talking about and this girl turns around and says "That's all a lie and if you believe that, then you're just going straight to hell!" and then wouldn't talk to us anymore. *LOL*

It's people like that that make me embarressed to be considered a Christian. *rolls eyes*

An MMO can have a good story, it's why I'm still playing FFXI. And yeah, GW can be soloed, but you can also involve other players on the RPG side, and there's a big PVP side where people can run around and do raid-type things and kill each other. Personally, I'd like to see the next one as more of a single-player/multi-player thing, like Halo. You can do the storyline with friends, but there's also the multi-player maps to have free-for-all kill fests. I'd enjoy that a lot more than an MMO.
-
I could see something like Guild Wars, where there's a PVP part and an RPG part. You can pair up with friends to do the RPG part if you want, but that's where the story is. And people that just want to run around and kill each other can get on the PVP side. That way, you could still get involved in a story and have a chance to explore other worlds, but it won't be full of over-powered Jedi and Sith running around ganking everyone.
-
If they end up doing a free online play like Guild Wars, I'll probally pick it up, but just to see what it's like. I just can't see how they'll translate it over and keep the rich storylines they've had.
-
Yeah, I mean, it'd probally be better than SWG, but still. It'll lose a LOT on the story side, and that's where the magic of the games was. It'll turn into a "everyone is Jedi and runs around killing each other" game, and I won't want to play that, even if I could afford a second MMO.

If I was a guy, that would SO be in my signature.

I've never had a flu shot. Ever. And the only times I've had the flu have been when I was still in school. I think vaccines for babies and children are important, but a lot of 'adult' vaccines don't really help that much and are pretty much a waste of money.

The worst choice I ever had to make

So the police aren't going to even investigate when she's reported for doing an illegal drug? Maybe you could tell them what Walmarts she steals from and they can pick her up for that. They'll give her a drug test then, and maybe figure it out. Besides, there are laws protecting unborn children from drug abusing mothers in a lot of states. Check out the law for yourself and see if something like that has been passed in your state. If it has, take that to CPS and show them that they're ignoring the law by ignoring the situation.
