i say that because i hardly ever get comments on my stuff, yet people will post 5 line poems that get two or three pages.....yet, when i posted my poems (and some really funny ones from classmates) i got one comment....*grumblebitchmoan*... *ahem* sorry....anyways, thanks all.... Oh hell yeah. You can't BUY advertisment like that! There is not an amount you could spend to equal what the protesters have done in making people aware of this movie. I'm not sure they realize it, either.

Hollywood always changes stuff. I did enjoy it, personally. And Dan Brown didn't say it was all fact. He fully admited it was just a good fiction story. Some people believe about the Priory of Scion being real and he really just expanded on that. I don't know if he personally believes in all of it, but he said in an interview on A&E that it was just a story. He was proud of being able to write a story that was capable of generating good discussion, but the book is fiction. As for me personally, you'll have to give me good, solid proof before I'll belive that Mary was Jesus's wife and had his daughter. Now, I'll credit you the theory that she was one of his disciples, maybe his top one, and the Church kinda buried that because she was a woman. Knowing what I know about Church history and medeval history, that is completly plausable to me. But that they were married? Na, I just don't see that. Slightly unrelated note, but we had lots of protests outside the theatre in town about how everyone's going to hell. One of the trailers played before DaVinci Code was for The Omen, a movie about the anti-christ. *LMAO*

Ok. I know people here have seen it. Thought some might like to discuss it. Please remember, flames are bad. Unless it's a bonfire. With marshmellows. *mmmmm* *ahem* Anyways, I saw it this weekend, and I enjoyed it. I thought it was a very good story. I don't really think it was anything more than that, either. I've watched all the A&E documentarys and stuff on (and there's been a lot), and for all the theories and speculation and interpretations that people have, they're missing one key thing: proof. It's just a 'plausable theory'. So, no, I personally don't believe there is a code or that Jesus had a daughter. But I am interested in what those of you that saw it (or read it) think of the issue. Or heck, what you thought of the movie. For me, that's all it was. Good acting, good story, CRAPPY filming (yeah guys, take a hint...people do get motion sickness when you film the action scenes inside the action...it was like some dad or something was filming it with a really good quality camera). Anyhoo, that's my two cents on the matter.

Antec makes some good cases....still around $150-$200 for the good ones though....your best bet is to hit the local computer parts store and see if they have any deals....you can get good ones online, but for a case i prefer to see it in person first.....

it's not really basied on any of the games.....it has a lot of elements from the first two, i heard, but the storyline isn't really any of the game storylines.... and it's very rare for a movie to creep me out....this was just one of them.....

Went to see that one yesterday. Now, I've not played much of the games, just enough to kinda see around the town. So I wasn't sure what to expect. What I got was scenes of running around followed by scenes of terror. Seriously. I had trouble falling asleep last night. I can't really compare it to the games, but I enjoyed it. I had a tension headach afterwards because I was sitting there really tense during the 'air siren' scenes. Basicly, that's when all hell breaks loose. The zombies were really well done, and the first ones she encounters were the creepiest. Very odd ending, too, I'm really expecting a sequal. Not that it'll be very good, but the way it ends you know they'll have to continue it. Anyhoo, very graphic is places, very scary in places, EXCELLENT sound and music, and I much enjoyed it.

I don't use that. Yahoo can acess lots of different POP3 mail accounts for you, so that's mostly what i use.

that would be my guess....it's mis-tagged....but hell, if you do happen to find it mis-tagged, get it.....they'll give it to you for that price b/c that's the displayed price....if they don't, you can make a huge fuss and complain to the managers, etc.... as for that case, i'd have to see one in person, but it does look nice....the only thing is i'd like to find one with a firewire connection.....that was an old case i had borrowed for Quakecon last year, and it was much faster than the USB2 i'm using now.....i had to replace it b/c the fuse went out.....

You pick an external hard drive the same way you pick an internal one. They're the same thing. The only thing you need to worry about is choosing a case. I usually get mine seperatly. It's a little bit cheaper that way.

You'll find that the entire series on paper is much better than the movies. Not that I didn't like the movies. They put good faces with the names and helped me visualize the scale of some of the battles. But the books had so much more information in them and adds a great deal of depth that the movies lacked. The only problem is that Tolkien is very poetic and very descriptive, so a lot of people do get put off because of that. Which I think is a shame, because he had a gift for bringing a fantasy world to life through his words.

Sphere is one of my favorite Chricton books.....at the moment i'm re-reading The Elienum, by David Eddings.....good fantasy series, good characters...i like reading most of his stuff because he's got a good sense of humor....it's not Discworld type humor, but a bit more realistic i think....

and it's in the wrongh place......anyhoo, here's mine....

when i was at quakecon, i ran across this format...this is the instructions that came with it....i downloaded it, and it's really neat....works like a charm....

*LOL* if there were any crocodile actions, i would SO do the crocodile....LOL...... unfortunatly, actions are a bit limited....but as long as you just give me the dialoge, i can fit it to the best action i have.....
