I had success with eHarmony. Not everyone does, it was basicly the last day I logged in before someone had interest in me, but it worked out well for me. However, I would go with one of the top ones, like eharmony or match.com. Those tend to be more reliable.

I did several cosplays at Jacon in 2000. The one that seemed to get the most attention was Avery from Sailor Moon (wish i could find the pics of me, but here's a ref, the one in gold on the left). It wasn't perfect, but I got lots of compliments, including one of the police that was there for security. Ok, he didn't actually say anything, but the center of the convention center was a large open area that had an open walkway for each level. This guy was on the third floor, and apparently had a really good view of me when he was looking down. My favorite has been Chocolate Misu from Sorcerer Hunters, though. *civilian mode, wasn't going to attempt the other outfit!* Had lots of people wanting to take pics, including other Sorcerer Hunter cosplayers. The thing that helps when you're cosplaying is adopt that role. You're not P-kun, you're whoever you're dressing up as. Granted, can't do that all the time, but if you're noticed, be that other person a little. That helps a lot.

One word: flamethrower. Make sure all the water flows into the neighbor's yard and freezes on their driveway! -

Well, it was trying to melt, but with little sun and highs only to lower 20s, didn't make much headway when we got about 6 inches of snow on Thursday night/Friday day. Fortunatly, the sun was out and the temp around and over 40 all day today, so the roads are mostly clear now. -

I didn't get much in the way of snow. We had about an inch of solid ice on the roads though. That was two days ago, and it's still there. I'm hoping the sun comes out today because that might melt it enough I can go somewhere. >< -

If there's not snow on the ground in every state (like last year), it can't be considered a true Snowpocolypse. But yeah, ice in Dallas. Woke up, saw the street was solid white, and went back to sleep. Whee! -
Ok, just got back from seeing it and was very entertained! The comedy really worked, and you can tell they had fun with it. Basicly, don't get expecting a serious super hero movie because it isn't. But if you go in just looking for an entertaining movie, you'll have a lot of fun. Totally worth seeing in the theater!

Happy Birthday! *huggs* Remember to keep hydrated while drinking so you don't wake up with the percussion section of the Blue Angels playing in your head!

That would be awesome if it would work.

If you block her, her name won't show up in FB. I've done this and it even blocked the comments that person made on other friend's stuff.

Best way is to make meaningful posts. Join conversations, post useful topics. Don't reply to things with one or two word posts. Those tend to get ignored, mostly.

Easiest way? Block her. You won't get any kind of notification from or about her.

I don't make resolutions because I always forget about them. With that being said, BF and I are making it a priority to get into better shape. We both need it. And I want to be able to look awesome in a dress again. ;

Here's to moving on and looking forward instead of back! *hugs*

Happy Late Birthday! Have some extra cookies!

It's totally worth seeing! The first 10 minutes or so had some major facepalm moments, and there was a big deux ex machina at the end, but everything else was good. I had a lot of fun watching it!

I love xkcd.

Well, it was one of those movies that the trailer looked kinda funny, but I kinda figured it'd be cheesy kid's humor with a lot of current event jokes. It actually wasn't. Clever story, good characters, and a really fun time. A nice twist on the good vs. evil storyline.

Just got back from seeing it, and it's TOTALLY going in my DVD wish list! I was rather ambivilant towards it, but it's the last night and BF said let's go see it, so I said ok, why not? Good characters, good music and really frickin' entertaining to see! So, yeah. Totally worth watching when it comes out on DVD.

Next episode release on Jan 29th! *happy dance*

You know, for me, religion is a secondary part of Christmas. Yeah, I know that's the reason that particular holiday exists, but for me this is getting together with my family (which only happens about once a year) and spending time with those I love. Why can't people who aren't Christans just look at it that way? An excuse to get some time off to spend with loved ones?
