  1. I think he must mean current Jedi users. As in, no one we've seen before. Personally, I'd love to see [ame=http://www.atom.com/funny_videos/forced_alliance/]Forced Alliance | Star Wars Fan Movie Champions|Spoofs | Atom[/ame] actually made into a series. Edit: ok, I don't want that actually embedded. *grumble*
  2. http://www.greennexxus.com Interesting little site. Lets you make an account and keep track of what you can do to help reduce carbon emmissions. There's a lot I can't do because I live in an apartment, but every little bit helps. Might be good for some suggestions if anyone's looking for some.
  3. This is so weird, but highly amusing. http://www.trekyourself.com/?mId=0.4 And for me: And a very manical Romulan.
  4. So they programed a robot that can make new ones of itself? I don't see what's such a big deal about a robot following it's programming. Now, if it taught itself how to reproduce itself and then did so spontaiously, then I'll be impressed. And a little spooked. ^^;
  5. found an avatar i thought you might find amusing....XD

    Tamago

Quck and easy, and good cold as well as warmed! I use it in my bentos sometimes. Very simplified version that most recipes you'll see, but it works good. You need: 2 eggs 1 tablespoon sugar 1/2 teaspoon soy sauce Mix everything in a bowl, starting with beating the eggs first and getting them a little smooth before adding the sugar and soy sauce. Get everything nice and smooth and heat up a NON-STICK skillet. Melt a little butter/margerine in the pan to coat it, then pour in the egg mix so it covers the bottom of the pan. Let it cook on medium-high heat until the edges are kinda dry, then carefully work a large spatula under one edge and start rolling it up. If you kinda flip the edge up and fold it over about an inch, you can just repeat the flipping until it's at the end. This takes some practice, so don't worry if you don't get it the first time. It's still a tasty mistake! Anyhoo, once it's folded up, cook the egg until both sides are done and VERY lightly browned (i'll take pictures next time i make it so you can see). Then, just slice it up (it's tender enough to do so with the spatula) and do whatever you planned with it. You can top it on sushi rice for tamago nigiri, or just eat it alone. I like to stack it in my bento for a change from hard-boiled eggs, but I occasionally make it to go with supper too.
  7. *obligatory joke time* Mmmm, I love big blue frosty Bawls! Big drink at Quakecon, but they got a new distributer down here a few years ago and now it's hard to find. >< Though, occasionally Circut City will have a case of it. I wish more 7-11s would carry it here.

    I need an advice

I've been trying for years to do freelance webdesign. Unless you're really good at forming a small business, stick with a regular job. With the economy in the crapper as it is, find you a regular job to pay the bills instead of looking for the perfect job. It may not be what you want, but if you have a family to support, I'd say that's a little more important than the perfect job. And when you have a job, you'll have time to look for what you want without feeling pressured or afraid something bad will happen and you won't have the money to cover it. This is speaking from personal experience, btw.
  10. Something I ran across that I found interesting. Makes a lot of good points, too. http://www.cracked.com/article_15231_7-reasons-21st-century-making-you-miserable.html
  11. I'm not regular people. *blows a rasberry at Eppy* But again, my monitor at work is rather dark. *shrugs* Plus, it may be because I'm looking at a screenshot and not the actual picture. It could also be how PS and Ifranview save it, too. I don't know what kind of options Ifranview has, but you can adjust the compression in PS and it'll work better.
  12. It could also be your monitor, because the backgrounds look the same to me at work....i didn't get a chance to check at home....and you do get some pixelation going from big to small, but it tends to blur up and isn't as noticable..... and yeah, could be some PS setting...i know Illustrator randomly resets EVERYTHING sometimes for no reason that i can determine.....*rolls eyes*....
  13. I don't see a difference in pixelation myself. I even copied that image into my PSP and zoomed in, and they look about the same level of pixelation. Can you put that exact photo somewhere and I can check on my PS?
  14. http://www.reallifecomics.com/archive/090317.html That says it all. ><
  15. Who did do the lineart, just out of curiousity? And you have a good idea for seeing where the lightsource is supposed to be, but I would recommend not using the dodge and burn tool. They're helpful in moderation, but if you really want to get the detailing, try painting the colors on, espically on the hair and clothing. That's how you go from a general block shading to getting some detail in there.
  16. Intellus searches public records, not the internet. Anything that goes into a large database that can be accessed remotely can be searched like that. Intellus just does it for you.

    Need commissions!

It's not silly. ^^ You give me a description of the character, and I draw it. I pick the pose, unless you need a specific one, but it can be pretty much anyone. And I will do fanart if you don't have an OC. Though, since my style is anime/mangaish, if it's a live-action character, they'll end up mangaish style.

    Need commissions!

Ok, I normally don't do this, but I'm getting a bit desperate at the moment. I desperatly need to raise about $200 for the tax on my car. It's going to be double what I was originally told because my dad put a higher amount on the title and bill of sale because I was told the sold amount doesn't matter, it goes by what the car's worth. Which is not really true, it goes by whichever is higher. And I don't have the money to cover it because I'm already overdrawn from paying bills. So, from now until April 15, I'm offering reduced commissions. $5 sketches - One character, rough sketch. These aren't always the best proportion-wise, but I get them as accurate as possible. $15 Full CG - One character, basic background, full color. Examples and details are on my devArt journal. Thanks!
  19. Getting stalked doesn't mean someone let out a bunch of info on the web. Could be an ex-boyfriend/girlfriend who can't let go. In fact, that's probally most of the stalkers of this kind. Not that people shouldn't be careful what they put online. Very few people I know online know my real name, and I don't put it on anything online.

    *snork* Good one!
  21. http://www.philly.com/inquirer/image/20090311_Textual_harassment_An_ugly_invisible_new_stalking_method.html Just something I thought I'd pass along, espically since it mentions that most states have laws against this now.

    Lunch Thieves

Yeah, with only three of us in this office, we kinda know who to pinpoint since I use a bento box, the boss uses a red bag which he keeps in his car, and the other guy has a blue bag.
