And Kelene smacks me when I do the same thing. Geesh, go figure.

I was never interested in piercings. Kelene's few ear piercings are all I can handle. Kelene's sister had a belly ring once. She showed it to us. Later when it got infected. Later when it was yanked out, eww. And throughout the whole healing process. I've never looked at piercings the same since. <shudders>

Why lack of Sleep can make you over emotional.
Mathias replied to HKofsesshoumaru's topic in News Column
I like sleep. Sleep is my friend. I'm going to visit my friend now. -
Be safe and we'll keep you and your friends in our prayers.

Squeak! That was funny. I liked how he leaped and bounded in slo-mo. Squeak!

I was a little hyped by the first video and bored to tears by the second. For those who won't watch it, the second video basically says: What you throw away stays on the planet, so nothing is really thrown away.

Me need the world's largest portable sump pump to equalize the water between the flooded areas and the areas in drought. I'm sure environmentalists are on it already by summoning all the politicians from around the country to the flooded areas first to expel all of their hot air as they laugh in our faces and then to the drought areas to spit over our values. Remember, politicians are here for us. That was meant to be funny. If you didn't laugh, sorry.

Let's cap the chimneys of all houses with a methane energy converter. I could supply enough energy to run my house alone. Just kidding, but funny. If we're going to have a dump, then lets make money off it!

I think renewable energy is the way to go, but I don't know if it's ready to step up completely to the plate in replacement of all our energy needs. If these coal plants were denied, what is going to supply the energy that these plants were going to supply? Hopefully, renewable energy, but I don't want an energy crisis like California had a few years ago.

It's been feeling like the seasons have been adjusted by a month or two. Winter seems to come in late December or early January. Winter lasts quite a bit into the spring months with an extra month of slush where Spring's not sure if it should stick around. We had trees get really wet from the rain and then froze over cracking a quarter of our trees in half.

I'd rather they stick to the story, than add side notes in from interviews.

I'm still missing a hoof from my inauguration.

I only have a PS2 and 4 year old computers.

Kelene wants the baby polar bear. I think I'm going to have to put my foot down. Kelene will show the videos to the kids tomorrow. Those were great videos, thanks!

You probably nailed it on the head. It might also be called: "Popsicles: A Wizard's Treat". If you don't get it, watch the old man on Family Guy.

Watch out for the noob-eaters. I just finished watching Outlaw Star again. It's my favorite anime that I've seen to date. Of course, I've only watched a few overall.

Every time that guy says "Assignment Earth," it sounds like "Assignment Dirth." Kyle thought the salamander was pretty cool, too. Please post more wildlife videos, please. For Kyle, of course.

We're always learning new information about how nature works everyday.

I think the country needs a flat tax program to remove the complexity and abuse of the tax system. I really like the Cape Wind program. No energy producing program of any kind will not have an environmental impact. The Cape Wind program sounds like it has less environment impact to fossil fuels. The NYC tidal project was intriguing. There are many underwater currents that produce a lot of energy that could be harnessed, hopefully, with minimal environmental impact. The only concern with renewable energy that I have thought of is the "Butterfly Affect". A single flutter of a butterfly's wings in China can cause a tornado in Oklahoma. By redirecting the air with windmills and such, are we going to adversely affect the weather systems around the world? What about when renewable energy programs are more widespread? Interesting questions, though I think the impact is still far less than fossil fuels.

Not really, based on the movies. I'll be reading the books soon, but it doesn't sound like it based on the article. Just a "troubled past" and all.

PS3? I won't be playing that game anytime soon. Dang, and it looked pretty cool too.

No gills for me, thanks, I have enough breathing problems with asthma to worry about breathing water as well. Now webbed feet might be interesting.

I agree that the government should keep out of the environmental arena, mostly because the government is inefficient and would probably due more harm than good. However, per my link, many renewable energy projects are not only becoming more affordable, they are now profitable. Businesses may have a hard time getting over the initial investment. Five to ten years after the debt is offset by the renewable energy investment, it could prove worth while. Big milestone to overcome, but the clean technology is coming along pretty well. Maybe Ladywriter has come across some examples that she'd like to post.
