lol Steve Job A “Steve job” is slang for a sexual maneuver in which one partner reams the other with an iPhone until he or she finally gives in, heads down to the Apple Store, and shells out $500 for one.

i just watched this movie, and really liked it. Kinda like Heroes but not so theer are 9 types of specials: Movers: Movers manipulate inanimate objects at varying distances. The actual technique is known as kinetic signature control, where the Mover is trained to hear and identify the specific atomic frequency of any given material and alter the gravity wave around it, usually producing the nearby air to appear warped. Advanced Movers can work at the molecular level creating protective shields in the air around them. Pushers: Pushers push specific thoughts, memories, and even emotions into their targets. This technique can be used to gain a subject's trust or to have them perform any action, thinking it was their own agenda. Watchers: Watchers are trained to self-induce visions of the future, very much like a prolonged sense of déjà vu. The technique of following the future, either of a person or object, is called subject tracking. A Watcher's skill is primarily rated by how far they can see into the future. Bleeders: Bleeders have the ability to emit high-pitched sonic vibrations that cause ruptures in a target's blood vessels. Sniffs: Sniffs are highly developed psychometrics who can track the location of either people or objects over varying distances. Like psychic bloodhounds, their tracking ability is increased if they have tactile access to an object that has been in direct contact with the subject. Sniffs receive information based on images, not specific addresses, which is why identifiable landmarks help increase their effectiveness. Shifters: Shifters can temporarily shift patterns of light on any object to create illusions to the naked eye. They work mostly on a touch basis, but once the illusion is established, it remains with the object for short periods of time. For example, a Shifter could momentarily touch a one dollar bill, altering its light pattern to appear as a one hundred dollar bill for hours until the effect expires. The length of the shift is based on experience and ability. Wipers: Wipers are skilled at either temporary or permanent memory erasure, an invaluable asset in espionage. Experience will dictate the accuracy of their wipes, though the danger is always present that they will eliminate a desired memory. Shadows: Shadows are trained to block the vision of other clairvoyants such as Sniffs, making any subject within their target radius appear "dark". Experience will enhance the size of the area they can shadow and the intensity of their shielding effect. Shadows need to be awake to perform their ability, and it is common for a detail of two Shadows to operate in shifts while protecting a person or object for extended periods. Stitchers: Stitchers are psychic surgeons trained to quickly reconstruct cells to their previous or healthy state. Using only their hands, they can heal and even "unheal" whatever they have done. For more detailed work, Stitches use a silver based cream on their hands which acts as a conductor to their ability. the film has a rather simple but very enjoyable plot, and imo good acting. sfx and such. i give it a thumbs up, sadly it wont get a sequel that it needs to tie up a few loose ends, but such as life

i dont get the cloud system how do you run applications from the net? it will be good for crap pc's i guess but personally many net companies are moving away from unlimited download options to charge per gig wont it lag to fuck being online? also i dislike depending on the internet. due to crappy options available to me where i live, im paying a premium to have the Net, and get super shit service, uploads of 0.3mb at best means net play sucks, and beloew 512mb d/l at peak times due to congestion,

http://technology.timesonline.co.uk/tol/news/tech_and_web/article6665703.ece Google is to launch a new operating system, in its most direct challenge yet to the dominance of Microsoft. Google Chrome OS will be a development of its Chrome web browser. The search giant initially aims to install the new system on small, low-cost computers known as netbooks, which are currently outselling more powerful personal computers. Google said that it believed the software would eventually be used on PCs as well. The move is likely to intensify the rivalry between Google and Microsoft, whose Windows operating system is used on the majority of the world’s personal computers. Operating systems help to run and control the basic functions of a computer. Google said that the project was a “natural extension” of its Chrome browser and was necessary because older operating systems were designed at a time when the internet did not exist. “Speed, simplicity and security are the key aspects of Google Chrome OS,” said Sundar Pichai, a Google Vice President, and Linus Upson, engineering director, in a blog post. “We're designing the OS to be fast and lightweight, to start up and get you on to the web in a few seconds.” Google said that the new software would be released later this year on an open source licence, meaning that computer developers and programmers across the world will have the chance to use, modify and improve it. Netbooks running the finished product will go on sale in the second half of next year. The company claimed that Chrome OS would change the focus of operating systems from controlling desktop PCs to a system designed to run the internet as fast as possible. “The user interface is minimal to stay out of your way and most of the user experience takes place on the web,” Mr Pinchai and Mr Upson said. Google has a big task on its hands. Many companies and products have tried to take on Microsoft’s Windows and failed. Although rival systems such as Linux and Apple's OS X are widely acclaimed, some analysts estimate that Windows and other Microsoft products are used on more than 90 per cent of computers. Microsoft is to release an updated version of its own operating system, Windows 7, in October. Google has repeatedly trampled on Microsoft’s territory recently. First, it launched Google Chrome, a web browser, in competition with Microsoft’s Internet Explorer. It has also recently released Android, an operating system for mobile phones, a direct challenger to Microsoft’s Windows Mobile, which is used on the majority of smartphones. And the Chrome browser has been a big success challenge to Internet Explorer with over 1% share of the browser market in almost a year compared to IE's 65% and Firefox's 23% shares. I'm sure MS is terrified. clivex, Bristol, England And the Chrome browser has been a big success challenge to Internet Explorer with over 1% share of the browser market in almost a year compared to IE's 65% and Firefox's 23% shares. sounds like to me the OS wont be running many programs, so for netbooks probably more ideal then modern desktops

Surprisingly this took the longest. The images took forever to find and getting ones that fitted in terms of artist style was also a challenge. I wanted pictures of superman that showed he was a man and could be hurt, and contrary to the absolute wuss he is portrayed in Smallville, often gets in brutal fist fights and not afraid to kick some ass. The top right image is one that makes the picture for me. Clark Kent is who Superman created, he was born Superman, so seeing him with his father as Clark set the image of who he is. A small pic of Batman and Wonder Woman were essential. They are probably the ones he trusts and depends on most as well as butts heads over ideals and ethics.

Hulk was the shortest to make as i used the fewest images, the challenge was that Hulk is so bulky, only larger pictures sufficed. Also modern and dated pictures of the Hulk are of a very distinct drawing style so finding ones that flowed wasnt easy. I settled on using artist style pictures mixed with World War Hulk images as opposed to the most modern Rulk style currently being applied. hulk is one of my favorite 'Heroes' though not truly a hero, he spends more time fighting heroes then villains. After Planet Hulk arc i really wanted Hulk to get his revenge. And in WWH he delivered, there wasn't a person on Earth who didn't receive an epic ass whooping if they had it coming. My only beef with Hulk is his inconsistancy, Hulk can go rounds with Thor a God, also taken a Gamma (nuclear) bomb to the face point blank with no damage yet Wolverine and Captain America have both gone the 9 yards on him. Wolverines Adamantium may be shard and unbreakable, but he should lack the strength to cut the Hulk. and caps shild blocking Hulks punch should have shattered every bone in his body to atoms. ah well comics hey...
