to me sounds like ST: voyager set mainly on a ship, and focusing on inter relation ships, as well as meeting new aliens, theer avoiding having a single bad alien race, and will be set on a starship for the most part: from wikipedia to me i will watch it, but i think it has already lost the point of stargate, as they wont be using stargates really, once SG1 introduced starships, it kinda drifted away from the original plot hope this series isnt a star trek voyager, Concept and setting Stargate Universe was conceived as "a completely separate, third entity" in the live-action Stargate franchise[4] – as opposed to Stargate Atlantis, which was created as a spin-off from the first series Stargate SG-1.
