I watched Poseidon's adventure with Gene Hackman last night and I wondered why did they ever make another one with Kurt Russell in it when there was nothing wrong with the original one to begin with. They think oh now that we have new special effects and popular eyecandy stars we can ignore all the good dialogues and casts that made the movie so great yaddih yaddah. They fail almost everytime.

Asian countries like China and India practice what is called sex selective abortions. It is where you only abort girls because boys are more preferable, which is motivated by religious and culture aspects that boys are better than girls. Now they are dealing with huge imbalanced population between men and women. With less women, there won't be babies to worry about. I just thought I would throw that in there as far as the population control goes. I think the US is heading more towards the unisex though.

One drop rule is used as good for once in America so I don't see the reason why Blacks want to omit it now. And also remember that many Black American decendants today are mixed - thanks to slavery for one. Colin Powell's family didn't want him to run office some years ago for his safety because he was considered full-Black, but he looks whiter than Obama. I think Europe is recognizing him as bi-racial but unless the US can come up with something to label those that are mixed, he will always be recognized as first Black to become president.

I think you guys are upset over nothing, honestly. And I don't believe Obama spent 12 hrs in a church, unless you meant half a day as a sarcasm or exaggeration. It looks like he had a busy day. Back to the topic, I agree with Strider about whatever motivates Obama to do his work ahead is a personal issue. It could be his regular visits to the church, who knows. He wants Guantanamo closed soon so he is doing impressively well imo.

^ X'D I saw it once and once was enough for me. A female terminator was talking to young John Connor and she was like can you trust me (John was pointing a gun at her at the time)? Then John out of the blue handed the gun to the female terminator like oh what the hay I'm gonna trust you for no good reason. LOL. The female terminator was like nodding her head and John started to nod his head back like they understood each other with respect or something.

It's sad that both can't stop fighting. I blame both but Israel is really heartless and overdoing it, just like they did to Lebanon, killing innocent civilians and destroying their homes. But then again Americans aren't any better. Look at what we did to Iraqis. Just a thought here and I don't wanna sound like an anti-semiticwhatever but why should Americans give a damn about them when 20% of Americans can't even locate the US on the map in the first place, let alone Palestine out in the middle of nowhere? Is media really controlled by Jews? I'd say there are probably 30 different wars going on around the world right now and why do we have to focus on Israel/Palestine all the time anyway? I hope Jews and Muslims that live in Europe, the US, or elsewhere don't get targeted over this issue though.

I tried to watch it sometime ago but all I can say is not enough whale scenes but a lot of people talking, which is boring. What they are doing is great though, I'm not trying to diminish their efforts to save whales by any means. I don't think I've seen any that shows a lot of whales in the discovery channel. It's always the shark or crab week. Whales are beautiful creatures.

I don't like these types of stories because there are like hundreds of children go missing everyday but it's like this is more important than the rest of them by giving more attention. Sucks to be Caylee though, killed by his own mother. It gotta hurt getting betrayed by the one that is suppose to love you the most. Innocent until proven guilty my ass.
