With the Galactica in far orbit within the nebula, the Vipers and Raptors execute their planned attack. The Raptors successfully launch multiple drones in two groups. The Galactica and the Colonial One DRADIS immediately register the two groups of drones as two Battlestars. Galactica jumps into the upper atmosphere and scrambles Vipers during free-fall (after known as the 'Adama Maneuver').
