I really used to like Tom but something defiantly happened to his brain. Keep in mind Scientology is a religion in the US UFBZ_uAbxS0& He sounds like another extreme zealot. He sounds brainwashed. You can replace Scientoligist with Christian, Muslin, Evil Alien society whatever. I think someone has been giving his ego collagen injections, it doesn't fit on the screen The narcissistic personality disorder really shines in this vid. He woulda been better off literally doing this fYBTlI1-fHg& Primary difference between Tom and Britt is he can still 'function normally'..... mmmm yeah

article WASHINGTON (CNN) -- While Sen. John McCain was inching toward the Republican presidential nomination, Sen. Barack Obama staked a claim as the Democratic front-runner. Obama's wins in the District of Columbia, Maryland and Virginia primaries propelled him past Sen. Hillary Clinton in the race for delegates. According to CNN calculations, Obama has 1,215 delegates to Clinton's 1,190. To clinch the Democratic nomination, a candidate must get 2,025 delegates. Obama had led in pledged delegates, but Clinton had held the lead when superdelegates were factored in. Superdelegates, a group of almost 800 Democratic Party officials and leaders, are not required to make their votes public and are free to change their minds. The Illinois senator has now won eight consecutive contests. McCain, the presumptive nominee for the Republican party, has 812 delegates to former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee's 217, according to CNN estimates. See CNN's political team analyze Tuesday's results » A GOP candidate needs 1,191 delegates to secure the nomination. I think its a huge mistake to put someone lacking foreign policy experience in the white house.

7steps towards an energy saving [r]evolution
Ladywriter replied to Ladywriter's topic in Take Action
Thanks for joining the energy revolution! *Step 1: Change those old lightbulbs* We're guessing you've already gotten started. In fact, you've probably changed all the lightbulbs in your home to energy saving compact fluorescents already. You're saving the environment as well as saving money on your electricity bill. Now we want you to do something for someone else. Maybe it's a friend who hasn't gotten around to changing their lightbulbs yet, maybe you know an older person who can't easily reach high up light fixtures. Whoever it is, help them out by changing at least one of their bulbs. -
join us L_JmXkKS_14 Energy saving [r]evolution - first 7 steps We need to kick start an energy [r]evolution! By burning fossil fuels for energy, we're altering our atmosphere - causing climate change. To reverse it, we'll need to stop burning so much coal and oil. Renewable energy like wind and solar power is part of the answer, but the fastest (and most cost effective) way to reduce our global warming pollution is simply use less energy. [ Lightbulbs Q & A | Sign up ] What's so revolutionary about that? Sure, energy efficiency is only common sense. But the idea that with smarter technology we can have growing economies while using less and less energy is new and bold. It's the sort of thing that might even happen without us if we had the time to wait. But we don't. The effects of climate change are already starting to pile up, construction begins on new power plants literally every week and billions of energy wasting lightbulbs are still sold every year. Consider this: A simple switch to energy saving bulbs in the EU alone, would save 20 million tonnes of CO2, equal to shutting down 25 medium-size dirty power plants; and this is before we consider the efficiency of other household products, or even cars! It's not only about changing lightbulbs Specifically, it's not about your lightbulbs. Changing your lightbulbs is just an easy way to get started. Plus, it saves you money. Think of it as step one. Revolutions start with individuals getting together for a common goal. That's why the next steps are about sharing this idea with your friends and community. Then you'll be ready to challenge governments and influence businesses. It's all easier than you might think. Most governments already support energy efficiency to some degree - a few (like Canada, Australia and the Netherlands) have already said they'll phase out energy wasting lightbulbs eventually. With a little helpful push, we can get them to act now. We're asking you to start with lightbulbs simply because they are so wasteful, and better alternatives are so easy to install. Soon, we'll take on other energy wasting products. Why today is the day Every ton of carbon dioxide pumped into the atmosphere, every coal burning power plant built and every energy wasting lightbulb installed makes it harder for us to stop climate change. Each one is one more thing we'll need to undo. Better to do it right the first time. Use an energy saving CFL so we'll need less electricity, avoid building another dirty power plant and protect our planet. That's an energy revolution. Your energy revolution.

well this is crap. if the govt is going to allow naturalized citizens to hold the highest office then technically they have to allow Governor Arnold to run for pres if he wants and give it up to the big guy if he wins the election. If they are gonna wave the where you were born clause for a McCain presidential run then those who immigrated to this country and became citizens should have the same rights...right? This goes into that "Who/What is an American?" debate. Baby we're a little bit of everybody I think that people who come here legally and do the leg work to become citizens deserve to be treated as such. 2 outta 3 of my doctors aren't home grown X'D Dr L is Caribbean and Dr I is Russian. I thought the thing that made us so cool that was that no matter where you were born you could always become American. Maybe this lil scandal will have govt looking over the requirements for office and amend the shit to be more specific.

Dear friends, Valentine's Day is this week, so we're asking that you take a minute to ask your members of Congress to show a little love for our climate and our planet. Please send your Reps in Congress a Valentine's Day message encouraging them to support the 1Sky Solutions -- http://org2.democracyinaction.org/o/5075/t/1697/campaign.jsp?campaign_KEY=119 After you send your message, check out our Valentine's Day toolkit (http://www.1sky.org/valentinesday) and send extra-special hand-made Valentines to your Reps' district offices so you really get their attention. Send us digital images of your cards at valentines@1sky.org and we will post them as a photo collage on our blog! (http://www.1sky.org/blog) Valentine's Day is all about building relationships and by taking part in 1Sky's Valentine's Day call to action, you are laying the groundwork to get connected to your members of Congress when they return to their home districts in the spring. Please mark your calendars for late March and book your meetings with your Senators and Representatives now, as our next effort to demand bold action on global warming will be during these district visits home. We will provide you with all the resources you need for these district meetings. Stay tuned! Happy Valentine's Day, Adi Nochur and the 1Sky team

You guys are so unfair As soon as Franky took her cuffs off on the bridge of hesitation she was whoopin ass too! She and Nami took on wha? A couple hundred marines- DF users in the mix! From the moment she was able she was fighting along side her nakama even after being exposed to sea stone and having her ass beat on by fuckin Spandam the whole time they were trying to get to her. Maybe Robin's fights are portrayed they way they are because we're supposed to look at her and think scholar not warrior. Maybe now I need to make some Robin vids >.< And for what its worth... I think there's a lil sumthin sumthin between Robin and Franky. Look at how closely their pasts are woven into each other. For years he thought he had to protect the Pluton prints from the WG and the devil Nico Robin cuz they wanted to build it and destroy the world. Then he meets her, destroys the blueprint and saves her. Then its Robin who does the forcing to make Franky join the crew... come on yo she grabbed his balls and in the moment before she squeezed he was enjoyin it X'D

I hope that future storm study will be able to improve upon the watch/warning systems. If we could only know further in advance where, how strong etc and get that message out to everyone. Sirens tv radio don't appear to be enough, we need more aggressive warning systems. (Maybe electronic storm warning signs every so many miles for the people driving around listening to their cd players - something man) Is it just me or do the storms and tornadoes associated with them seem to be a lot more frequent and widespread now then they were 5 10 15 years ago? We've had em here in NY o_0 thats just... -
what do you see as a return to const govt? I'm very curious because of the oodles of amendments we have and that the original draft itself is kinda antiquated ne? >.< still a good thread for discussion wherever it gets put

press release January 9, 2008 Environmental Groups Take Legal Action to Enforce Endangered Species Act Bush Administration Fails to Meet Listing Deadline for Polar Bear WASHINGTON— The Center for Biological Diversity, Natural Resources Defense Council, and Greenpeace initiated legal action against the Bush administration today by submitting a formal notice of intent to sue the administration for missing the deadline to decide whether or not polar bears will be listed under the Endangered Species Act due to global warming. Today’s notice of intent to sue must be sent prior to filing a lawsuit in federal court. “Endangered Species Act listing decisions must be based only on science, and the scientists have finished their work on the polar bear listing. There is no reason for political appointees to interfere,” said Kassie Siegel, climate program director at the Center for Biological Diversity and lead author of the 2005 petition. “Time and again, delays like this one have been used by bureaucrats in Washington to illegally overrule and rewrite the conclusions of agency scientists. This delay is illegal and unjustified.” The Endangered Species Act requires a listing process of no longer than two years, but in this case almost three years have passed since the scientific petition was submitted in February 2005, calling on the government to list the polar bear. The groups first sued the Bush administration in December 2005, when it missed its first deadline. Responding to the suit in February 2006, the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service found that protection of polar bears “may be warranted,” and commenced a full status review of the species. On January 9, 2007, the Service published its proposal to list the species as “threatened” and had one year to make a final listing decision. The legal deadline for listing was today. >.<
