Remember that slip of paper Ace gave Luffy and Nami sewed into his hat? Something about a pirate summit wasnt it? Luffy could become a pirate God (I think he'd tell em no thanks)

squeeeeeeeeeeeee! I love this arc. It is definatly THE BEST arc in any anime evar! I really liked Alabasta, but this stuff totaly kicks its ass If/When they get out of there the World Govt and the Pirate Gods are gonna have to look at Monkey D Luffy a little differently ne? I can't wait to see some of these fights (all of the fights!) animated. I love how the Franky family and the giants got involved and fought too. So many characters and so much going on. Sweeeeet. Ussop fuckin rules!!!!!!!!! Put a good gun on their next ship (maybe he'll invent one) he can keep them safe from a distance.

I got depressed when: Gungrave the last episode. FMA the last episode The last few episides of Fushigi Yuugi (Tamahome's lil brothers and sisters OMFG!) had me going. Gourry screaming for Lina and then they finally kissed! Yay! The elevator shoot out in Gungrave The 100 man slaying ep and the last 2 episodes of Berserk had me freaking(I became a manga fan girl that night and keep up on my Berserk) The last couple eps of Wolfs Rain One Piece fights have me saying whoo! all the time X'D

maybe Tom built a ship that can beat the buster call. these mo fo's need a ship bad to get out of there alive. Sure the Luffy pirates are bad ass but 4 admirals. I'm not too worried about the fleet, Luffy Sanji Zoro and Ussop w a cannon can take out a nice chunk. It's who they'll have to fight that worries me.

they made it home! HOME SWEET HOME It’s been 2 months since I first wrote to you that Lonnie and I were going to attempt the first Arctic expedition to the North Pole in summer. Two weeks ago, we made it! You’ve been with us every step of the way through what has been a long, hard journey. I’m happy to tell you that I’m writing you now from the comfort of home, here in Minnesota. We arrived home two days ago, following what could have been a life-threatening - given our location and circumstances - back injury for Lonnie. Many of you who have followed our expedition, have read in our blogs that Lonnie’s back was progressively worsening, and the physical demands of the expedition were taking a real toll. Fortunately, we were able to safely exit the ice. Lonnie has been under doctor supervision and is expected to make a full recovery. Our expedition may be over, but the fight to save the polar bear has really just begun, and I hope you’ll continue to be a part of the work that Greenpeace is doing to save this magnificent animal and its habitat. In just five months, we’ll know if the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service will list the polar bear as a threatened species because of global warming. More than 13,500 of you helped submit comments, and we’re eager to find out the outcome of all of our efforts. We’re grateful you’ve followed our journey to save the polar bear, and we’re looking forward to following your continued efforts to carry on the fight. Your friend, Eric Larsen A very tired Arctic explorer

The first article explaines it like so In Kazakhstan, for example, glaciers feed many of the rivers used for agricultural irrigation, and the recent glacial retreat in that region is now compromising the area’s water supply. “It’s kind of like a bank account—when you’ve withdrawn all the water, there isn’t any more,” said Kargel. Basically it couldn't rain enough to replace the fresh water lost if a glacier is wiped out. Fresh water ends up in 2 places, it sinks into the water table below the surface or it flows into the sea and takes on the salinity of salt water and is no longer fresh. China is going to be in serious trouble by 2030. Chinese experts warn that by 2030 when China's population reaches 1.6 billion, per capita water resources will drop to 1,760 cubic meters -- perilously close to 1,700 cu m, the internationally recognized benchmark for water shortages. http://www.china.org.cn/english/SO-e/33957.htm a little closer to home http://yosemite.epa.gov/oar%5Cglobalwarming.nsf/content/ImpactsMountainsWesternMountains.html
