not enough room in a sig for em all

some like it subbed, some like it dubbed. me, I like a little of both. there are definatly some shows/characters where I prefer their J voice actors. few examples: Gourry from Slayers. his eng va was okay as a normal conversation voice, but when it came to dramatic scenes the english va just sucked at it. the english va's for the Shichinintai (Band of 7) just totaly suck. its like they didnt even try to find a decent match dont even tell me there's no english va capeable of sounding like a serious queen. Jakotsu and Bankotsu are all screwed up I abosutely love Ed Elrich Jvoice. Al is good in either language, but the way Ed gasps and reacts to things in J is just so awsome. I only watch Gundam Wing in english and I hate Goku's Jvoice it splits my ears >.< Sometimes the voice adds an extra dimension to a character. when the voice gets fucked up it takes something away from the character- usually at a critical moment when extremely dramatic reactions are called for.

Sesshomaru is far to powerfull a demon to be killed that easily. there is an episode coming up where he faces Suikotsu and Jakoutsu he's not the dullard Inuyasha is either. Bankotsu is no slouch either though. he even feels better now then when he did when he was alive. he's killed a lot of demons in his time

just to keep yourself in the habit/pratice why not draw a nice still of your computer set up or a scene w/ your favorite characters from a story or series?

ya know i love the scary/creept stuff the main chara has a way of getting what he wants, pretty smoothly too. its as if those around him are somehow subdued by his "charm" (or maybe its just his confidence in his abilities and knowledge they are picking up on) the mixing of the lore of the indigenoius N. Americans and the Japanese is pretty cool too. it will be interisting to see the final outcome of such a clash of cultures. I remember hearing stories about windego as a kid. my great gram on my da's side was a canadian mohawk. scary wrathful forrest spirit stories where the damn thing sure sounded to me like some uber werewolf and scared the crap out of me I cant wait to learn more about Drake. I'll run out on dis limb here and guess we will be fed backstory by flashback? Lookin forward to the next part!

how pissed do you think Adama is gonna be when he wakes up? Tigh declares martial law, pretty bold move for a drunk bastard. I get the feeling he wouldn't have pulled that shit if Starbuck had been around to get in his face Cylon Sharron is still locked up, makes me wonder why nobody has tried to disect her yet to make sure she can't link up with the cylons.

correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't doc Beckett say that he couldn't help him, he didnt know how? Ford is still alive cuz he's been getting his junk from the wraith he kills. if he goes back to Atlantis, he would probably die w/o the enzyme. he also seems to be going as mad as a hatter I can understand Ford is their buddy and all, but isn't he better off staying away from Atlantis? Skinner...ermm Col. Caldwell thinks hes a risk to security and I'm incline to agree. Of course, I also think keeping Teyla on Atlantis is pretty f'n stooopid too but eh

We have the box set ^____^ it is an awsome series. too bad they skipped an episode on C/N (the hot springs ep where Gene gets more caster shells. Gee, why would that be important to the series I hate cartoon network)
