Seriously yo, I'm about to go the fuck insane. My sis is on her 3rd hospitalization since November, mentally and emotionally she's just about to give up, roll over and die. Pain every day every night; its just devastating to have all this shit go on and on. During a previous hospitalization I got her to watch Berserk with me, Gutts always makes me feel better so I tried. She liked it okay I guess but I'm thinking if I can show her something with a lead female character overcoming insurmountable odds, well she might take a step towards empowering herself. Its easier to show people what you want them to do then to talk about it until you're blue in the face ne? She doesn't watch anime or much sci fi, but she liked Berserk so I thought maybe I've got something else she might like. I've considered Wolf's Rain but thats too fuckin depressing to show her in this state. I don't want any fuckin drama shit either, she's dealing with enough of that as it is being sick for months and her b/f is daily drama... not necessarily comedy either, something to make her think 'well if so and so can do that I can get up and walk' kind of shit. Movies or shorter series suggestions?

Ady Gil was a donation, a pretty sleek one at that. Damn that boat was nice. Anit whalers put themselves in the way (and get hosed for their trouble) to try and get the bigger ships to turn off course. U.K. shivers through worst cold snap in decades ‘Florida is not supposed to be cold like this’ here an el nino year traditionally means a warmer winter, more precip but usually its more rain then snow. unfortunately that aint how its going. the precip is there but its all lake effect snow as these mutherfuckin freezing temps come across the great lakes crankin up ye olde lake effect snow machine; today is day 10 of accumulating snow, we are fuckin buried with no thaw in site (which we usually get a January thaw but last year it didn't show up until Feb. I keep track of this shit because I garden and have different flora that does different shit throughout the year~seasons are out of step with weather by about a month) the wind chills are brutal and we've averaged temps that feel like 3 and 6 degrees, well below freezing. This is not our usual el nino winter, this is the little boy on climate changing steroids Sun nite I made it in 4WD the 3ish blocks to my sis's place and had to call the ambulance to get us to the hospital cuz there was 4 inches of snow in the road. My Blazer was worthless in that shit. TBH dealing with this kinda weather makes me downright furious with the assclowns that deny climate change so they can carry on throwing recyclables in the trash, drive gas guzzlers and boats and planes and live excessive lifestyles, polluting industry that compounds atmospheric troubles... beat the living fuck outta all of em

rewatched Outlaw Star,FLCL, Gurren Laggen, Berserk recently Always watching One Piece (currently a few eps behind same for) Fairy Tale. I watched the Uchiha fight but wanna go back for the ero sannin vs pain fight... haven't watched Naruto or Bleach in a long time, got sick of filler and less then impressed w/ the mangas which I also stopped reading.
