    So the wireless card in my laptop went out, just fucking great. Sigh, at least I have an ethernet cable long enough to reach it.

      I've seen usb wifi dongles for sale on amazon before. I thought about getting one for an old laptop to upgrade it to wireless n but I never got around to trying that out.

      I use a USB wifi for my pc and it works great. It only sticks out half an inch, so it would be ideal for a laptop. Mine is made by d-link
