It takes place during the time between Halo 4 and Halo 5 I believe (or so all news has pointed to). It's supposed to give us the background information on the new Spartan Agent Locke so we know what type of connection he has with the new game.

I just picked up the Shadow Price this morning before I got off after turning in a crap ton of Spinmetal just to get the marks. I tried it out for a little while earlier while I was farming more Spinmetal for my Ice Breaker. It's going to take some getting used to as I'm not used to the slow fire rate yet but the damage potential of this gun is amazing. Give it a few upgrades and it'll hold it's own in both the Crucible and in Vault. Now all I need to do is get my hands on a Void Fusion Rifle or Shotgun and I'll be ready to go for Vault the next time we attempt it. Even though the "exploit" has been fixed I do see Ice Breaker becoming a very valuable tool for that part since those Hobgoblins are a pain in the ass. I did find a nice little spot to hide from them but it puts you directly in the Templar's line of fire and makes it hard to find Oracles when they spawn. I noticed that your body block was very effective. Sadly we're a bit squishy so I'm more about keeping distance between myself and them. The one thing I noticed though is we seemed to drop them faster as long as we called out where they were coming from. As long as we communicate it's actually a lot easier to hold the points. I noticed the hardest points to hold are the right plate and left plate as the spawn rates for those are completely ridiculous. The middle is a little easier to hold as whoever is there gets a little more time to effectively set themselves up for the next wave, even giving themselves some time to throw some help at the others (as long as there is two people). I wouldn't of had trouble with them if I had had a void weapon when I held middle but it just got overwhelming when your weapon is doing nothing more then 20 damage a hit on the shields and less then 60 on the main body.

Hmmmm, I'm thinking the next time we attempt this we use Playstation's party system. This might fix the problem as last night we were using Destiny's built in voice system. I've heard of others having trouble with the voice system as well but I don't know if partying first will be the solution but we can always try. As much as I love my Monte Carlo I now realize I'm going to need a different Auto Rifle if I'm going to be of any real use to the group. It was taking a full clip of 36 to kill most of the Vex we were fighting both in and outside of the Vault. I know a different one won't help all that much but something with more impact might just up my damage potential a lot. I'd use Bad Juju but that thing has horrible recoil and while it is full auto that just fucks me up even more. Sigh, I might just break out The Devil You Know for Vault next time if I don't have anything better, at least that does more damage and is a whole lot easier to handle (even if it is slow to fire).

Just a heads up guys I made another post in the Clan forum about Vault. Give her a read and post any input you may have. Also great attempt tonight at Vault, did amazingly well for our first time in there.

From what was leaked during that bug the next raid is level 30 as well (or so it said in the screen shots) so I don't think a level cap increase will be coming until the second expansion (if it even comes) and you know it's going to be through gear as I don't think they've thought far enough ahead to allow us room to grow as characters (I mean they'd have to come up with whole new sets of abilities and I doubt that's feasible for them atm). More shards is going to suck. As you mentioned it's a pain in the ass getting shards now and you want to add a whole new set of them. Christ I'm not looking forward to that. They need to redo their whole loot system to being with to make it more fair because as it stands Legendary drops aren't a guarantee unless you're doing Vault and even then you still run the risk of getting trolled with shards and energies (not bad mind you but you're raiding more for new weapons and gear, the shards can come after that). Honestly it's a pain in the ass to get geared to even do Vault so they need to fix this (I mean I'd be nowhere near geared if it wasn't for the Queen's Wrath event). Like I said before I'm to the point where I need a break from this game. I'll still get on and play when you guys want me too but for now I'm only going to be getting on for bounties everyday and that's probably it. I'm getting back into Star Trek Online and I really need to get back on FFXIV so yeah. I just don't have it in me to grind for a game that basically trolls us around every corner making it nigh impossible to get what we need.

Well just a heads up Xur is selling Truth this week for his Exotic Weapon choice and his Exotic Engram is for a chest piece. Otherwise he has the same helm I'm currently wearing for Hunters up, a chest piece for Titans, and a pretty nice helm for Warlock's. Kinda disappointed with his wares but since I'm lacking in the coin department this week I'm kinda happy as I would of been pissed if he had Hard Light or the Mida up. So yesterday I got my first legendary engram in almost 2 or so weeks out of a chest. Sadly it was an arm piece engram and decrypted as a Titan piece but that's good for when my Titan hits 20. Got another legendary engram out of the Cryptarch this morning that decrypted as energy (would of liked some damn shards but ohwell, 3 more energies and I can finish my Monte Carlo upgrades). Not a bad day so far but could of done with better stuff. Bad Juju is a long trip to get too once you hit my area of it. 25 strikes sucks to do and I need to do 4 more (and before Sunday, I need something off of Xur before he disappears).

Yea I'd like to get my hands on both, very nice weapons and I see a lot of people running around with them. Just to let you and DX know I threw a post up in the Clan forum about Vault of Glass. All it's about is seeing what days and time people can play so we can see if we can coordinate an attempt at it soon. I'm in no real rush to get through it but sadly I'm finding myself getting bored with the game and if that keeps up I'll most likely be quitting until December when the first expansion hits (plus I've been away from FFXIV for three weeks and it's about time I get back on that, as I said before I'm sure my Free Company (guild) is wondering where the hell I'm at). Head on over and give it a read and post your available times so we can work something out. Hopefully the others will see it.

Nice and welcome to my world. I'm stuck at 28 until I get my hands on 36 more shards to fully upgrade my boots and gauntlets. Them damn shards are just so hard to come by.

I'd compare it to Nexus on crack plus the boss enrages after 15-20 minutes so you don't have a lot of time to screw up on the fight which is why the freaking exploit was necessary for groups learning it. Made it so much easier plus I don't really consider it an exploit if you can easily get to that platform by jumping to it. I honestly can't fathom why Bungie keeps doing shit like this, they're going to run their fan base off if they keep patching shit that doesn't really need to be patched (while I don't agree with farming in this game there was no real reason to patch it, it's not like it really did anyone any real good past 24 since purple engram drops were still pretty damn rare). Though I really wanted the Ice Breaker I guess I didn't need to go to all that trouble now since we're going to have to slog through the Templar fight the old fashioned way. Honestly my ideal set up for VoG would be 2 Titans, 2-3 Hunters, and 1-2 Warlocks depending on what we can get. 2 Hunters are pretty much necessary for the portal hopping during the Atheon fight since Golden Gun can make those portal trips so much easier and faster. 2 Defender specced Titans would be nice to have as those shields will really come in handy during both fights. The Warlock is mostly for the self-res just in case shit hits the fan. The sixth member could really be whatever we wanted which is why I said Hunter since our clan currently has 4 hunters as members so we most likely will have 3 on at the same time. My co-worker has a Warlock with his Sunsinger fully unlocked or close to it so we can bring him in when we decide to do it but sadly that means his brother will most likely be coming along (he's a Titan and also a co-worker) but we can work all that crap out when we actually decide to do it (which I'm on Vacation all week (till the 24th) so I'm up for it anytime this week, weekend, or next week). Luckily I have sniper rifles of all damage types now so I don't really need another one (though I will gladly take Patience and Time if it was given to me). Sadly, as I said before, I really need to get my hands on a better primary weapon if I'm going to have Ice Breaker equipped since I won't be able to use my Monte Carlo with it equipped. As much as I'm liking hand cannons I just don't think they're as useful in VoG as a AR or a PR. edit: Forgot to say this earlier but if you guys want to do stuff this week and I'm not on send me a text. I'll probably be playing during the day mostly but I'll get on in the evening to knock shit out with you guys (maybe get in a few more Tiger playlist strikes (need over 100 marks to get my AR from the Vanguard)).

I need to add Avolanty and soccerking to my friends list, will probably do so tonight. So I finally had time to screw around with my Ice Breaker and I really like it (plus it sounds so freaking awesome). Regen time on the ammo is freaking fast too, fully understand why it's such a sought after weapon. Fully intend on using it to it's fullest (but I still need to get a better main hand, I like the hand cannon but I just feel so underpowered with it) and luckily with it I now have a sniper rifle of all damage types so I'm covered. Ward of Dawn is probably the most effective for high level situations as Sunsinger really doesn't bring much the the plate other then the solar damage and their ability to self res (plus Song of Flame does decrease cooldowns for all fire team members when it's activated but it takes away the self res ability). I've looked at the tree fully as I'm leveling my Warlock as a sunsinger but really it's not that great (I do love their grenade types though). Honestly a Voidwalker is better to bring along for all high level encounters.

I officially love Right Stuf now. They're releasing Gundam ZZ, the Original MSG, and Turn-A in the next year. Strider's wallet is going to be empty soon.

I do want Hard Light and would like to get my hands on the Suros Regime (I got a thing for Auto Rifles, what can I say). Sadly they won't be of much use since Sledge and Avolanty helped me get my Ice Breaker today I don't think I'll be switching off of that weapons for awhile (which means I need to get a Legendary Auto Rifle or get used to using my Hand Cannon till I get one). This is the reason I hate the only one Exotic can be equipped at a time rule, kinda screws people over who have more then one Exotic weapon (so many choices, I have 3 now and am working on my 4th one).

Okay so Xur currently has the Ice Breaker up for 17 Strange Coins, damn him and me for being two coins short. Must get Strider 2 more coins for his Exotic Sniper Rifle.

Since I hit rank 4 (9 as of yesterday) I've gotten maybe 3 legendary engrams from him, everything else has been blue or a shader. I think when they patched the engrams they changed what he'll give you upon ranking up, you know to keep from giving us to many purples (or on the off chance it happens exotics). Can't have people getting too powerful to fast you know (or give them to many Ascendant Shards and Energies) because that would be too easy for people.

Hmmm, I can see this having some problems due to the countless people that are running around but if you can keep those mobs outside dead then it might work. Honestly doing the Vanguard Tiger playlist seems to work wonders for engram drops (not so much on Legendaries for me but it works for blues). I just don't want to farm anymore, so freaking boring and now that I have my legendary sniper rifle I'm happy (just wish it wasn't ark damage).

I've been pleasantly surprised by Crystal and am enjoying it much more this time then I did the original (though I'm contemplating buying the new BD set being released of the old series). I still haven't watched this weeks episode but I figured we should be close to the Venus reveal (been wondering how you were handling it there DX, I'm happy because Ami was introduced in the second ep (my fave Senshi)). Poor Sledge, just find time for both -
Two exotics in a day, nice! I honestly thought of saving my coins and trying to get enough to buy it but I hate Pulse Rifle, not a fan of that burst damage. I'll stick to my Monte Carlo, damn nice Auto Rifle and highly accurate too (pop head shots off like it's a scout rifle). I'm quite happy with my helm I bought from Xur though, 1 extra golden gun shot is going to come in handy down the road (especially in Vault). I haven't tried farming public events, figured I'd do Playlist Tiger and grind out marks when I want to. Strikes aren't hard to do and I hate waiting for public events (and running around to do them).

Shouldn't be that surprising that it's Gundam related (and it's a cropped image) but I tend to change it every few months. Last time it was Char's Zaku and before that it was an Alternative model who's work I follow (Cervena Fox). Probably be switching it up again sometime soon, got some new wallpapers I wanted to play around with.

Heh, no problem Sledge. I enjoyed playing last night though I still hate you for getting that Sniper Rifle I'll be farming the hell out of those Queen's Wrath missions until she gives me my damn rifle because I want it so damn badly. She better cough it up before the 6th or I'm going to be royally pissed. I love our pre-wrath banter, especially when we find out what the damn mission is (I freaking hate Oryx and Gate Lord, so sick in tired of doing them). So freaking hilarious. I just wish more people used their damn headsets in this game, gets kinda boring running Strikes with no one talking (though I'm sure those guys we've run with think we're dorks by the way we talk when we do them )

Actually that Wizard spawns every time during the level 26 version according to what I've read and the videos I watched. Once you kill him you can just leave the strike since it doesn't require you to actually finish it. The only problem is getting to that stage. I'll be on early this evening, about 6:30 your guy's time. If we're all on I'm up for some Kill Orders to get Sledge some better gear (plus I might get lucky and get that Legendary Sniper Rifle that's part of this event). If not I'll do the usual and grind out my bounties, only 490 rep away from rank 2 with Dead Orbit. I'm so close I can taste the gauntlets I'm after (or gloves or whatever the hell you want to call them). Plus I really need to work on those 500 machine gun kills (I have 2 so far).

"Only Engrams that drop after 1.0.2 are subject to this change." Sorry gents but it says that right before it goes into the changes so there really is no point in keeping current engrams (though if you want to I guess it's no harm, just don't be surprised if they don't give you Legendaries when you do).

I'll be on for a little while tonight to do bounties so if you want to attempt to do Kill Orders again we can. Not going to promise anything though since 2 Hunters might put us at a disadvantage (I think the only reason it went relatively well for DX and I is the fact that he's a Titan and can take more punishment) but I'm always willing to try. That or we can do crucible matches, I still need to grind out 10 more marks for when I hit rank 2 with Dead Orbit for my arm gear.
