    Meh, all truth be told that looks like no fun for me. I guess I'm too spoiled by BF4 lately that I don't like fast action gameplay anymore and this just looks to over the top for me. Guess I really am done with the whole COD franchise.

    Was a very sad day for me yesterday after I found out (which sadly was right before work). Such a great comedian and one of my favorite actors. He will be sorely missed and I tip my hat to this fine gentleman, may he find the peace that had eluded him in life in death.

    COD's story hasn't been worth $60 since COD4 and even then that story wasn't exactly worth the $60 price tag (though the multiplayer was, I can't stress how much I loved COD4 multiplayer (too bad it was taken over by the damn hackers). Don't tempt fate Sledge, this could easily turn into another BF4 topic or we could turn it into a Destiny topic if you prefer

    As much as I hated the fact they put Legolas in the last movie it was still a great movie so I have really high hopes for this one. I must say Peter Jackson really outdid himself with these movies, so much more enjoyable then the LOTR movies.

    Yea, you need to fix that damnit. The last time I got to play a game with you was the WaW beta. Gah, damn screwy ass work schedules (I know I hate mine, only gives me 2 hours at most to play with Sledge when I do get on before work). I think the Vex are on Venus so once we're able to start doing storyline missions on Venus we'll get to see them. Same goes for the Cabal, I believe they're on Mars solely so we won't get to see them till we start playing on Mars. I really look forward to release. Even though the beta did get old I still had fun and if that's what we get to look forward to for release this will be an amazing game (hell it's already an amazing game). I'm hoping there's more to Earth then Old Russia because we have a huge planet to play on and if all we get is Russia I'm going to be really pissed.

    No prob Sledge. As I said hopefully it works for him so he can give it a try. Also the pictures of your new rifle are up in the gallery, take a look at that beautiful piece of hardware you got. Heh, that would most likely kill the poor servers if they did that. I wouldn't be surprised if they let us play it on Saturday but that would kind of suck seeing as how it'd be a last minute thing and you'd have to run the hell out of it to get to know it. When I logged on this afternoon there was a message about the 26th posted up but considering I barely paid attention to it I can't really be sure what it said but it said something about stable so I'm pretty sure it's going to be a stability test. Should be interesting.

    Sledge picked this up in The Devil's Lair when we decided to tackle it. The gun looks like a .50 cal and it's damn near bigger then his character!

    I'll pm the PS3 code to you shortly. I don't think the Moon mission will become available. I clicked on it earlier today only to get a message saying something about waiting for 9/9 for the full release. Unless they plan on opening it up last minute for people to play I don't think we'll get to see it.

    As far as I could tell last night when I got on nothing changed. Unless they added something for max level players I think the downtime was for server tests and probably getting everything ready for the Microsoft side of the test since it also went live yesterday due to there early finish. edit: There doesn't seem to be anything new added to the beta. Hit 8 this morning and there was no new stuff to do unless they're adding stuff to the Crucible (which I haven't been doing anything with). I'll be on tonight myself. I'll watch my PSN app to see when you get on if I'm not on at that time. Might be leveling my Titan. I also have 3 PS4 codes and a PS3 code for the beta so if anyone is interested let me know. None of my friends own a PS4 beside you crazy people so I've got an abundance.

    I haven't checked it since I started playing but if the weapons and armor are anything like they were in the Alpha I'm stoked for the sheer amount of customization we'll get to play around with. The only problem with hand me downs will be what you plan on playing your other classes as. My Hunter won't be able to hand down because I don't plan on running a Titan as a sniper oriented class and all my Hunter will use is sniper rifles and scout rifles. Something about scout rifles and sniper rifles just makes this game so much more fun for me (even more so as a Hunter). I honestly hope they raise the cap but they really can't. Everything in the beta is oriented for low level characters. Hell at level 8 in the Alpha I felt incredibly overpowered for The Devil's Lair when we did it (mostly because it's a level 6 strike and mostly due to the gear I was wearing at the time). It'd getting exceptionally harder to level past 8 as xp rewards shrink progressively between each level (the only real way to level would be through PVP and that's just a tedious grind).

    Meh, I rerolled my Hunter right off the bat but I haven't had much time to play nor will I until next week (damn Vacation doesn't start till Tuesday). I'll have more thoughts on it then but so far outside of the first two story missions I feel like I'm playing Alpha again (which isn't a bad thing but is the main reason I'm not pushing myself to play it more before Wednesday when the servers come back up from Maintenance, I honestly do not want to burn myself out completely before it hits retail). I'll start up my Titan when I actually get to do some actual playing to see if I like it because I already know I don't like the Warlock.

    I re-watched the end of ep 3 and actually I think that's the original Sukar. Right before they pan to him sitting his apparently dead corpse starts breathing again and blinks. I could be wrong but that's what it looks like so if she's not making clones she's making something else. Either this metal crap is re-wiring them to follow Irzu's commands (as seen by that Casti chick going after the Casti kid) or something bigger is going on. If that was her parents then why were they on that ship because it that's the ship under Defiance then they were in an extremely powerful warship if everything we been told so far is true. Everything they've told us and the way Yewll was acting last season makes me think this won't end well if that ship is ever recovered. I also finally did get around to watching last weeks episode and I have to say I'm quite happy to see Datak get the snot kicked out of him. Such a cocky bastard but Stahma is going to regret letting him live. He might not currently have a crew but with what happened to Rafe I can see him joining up to help retake the town now. This season is really starting to get good. I don't want to get my hopes up (like I did with Almost Human) but if keeps along these lines I can definitely see another season getting greenlit.

    I ran into lag myself last night and was thinking it was rather weird considering when it happened (in an area that did have a lot of fighting but everytime an enemy came out of a door I'd hit severe lag as if someone planned it). Can't prove anything and it was a rented server but I was thinking that was weird considering I rarely, if ever, lag like that while playing BF4.

    lol, I set mine up to download while I watched the new episode of Deadliest Catch (priorities you know). I thought about giving it a shot this morning but then I remembered how bad Naval Strike was when it came out so I decided to practice on some 400% Locker goodness. I'll man up and play it tonight like I said, hopefully it's not as bad as Naval Strike was when it came out but considering the amount of people using the DEagle, Unica, Ballistic Shield, and Bulldog it's looking like this might be the first dlc rollout with very little problems.

    I was on this morning (in fact less than an hour ago) playing (trying to see if I still had the stuff, I do and boy am I deadly with a shotgun). Haven't tried the new maps yet but I'll say I hate the Bulldog or at least being on the receiving end of it. Didn't take people long to unlock it. The shield is kind of a joke by what I've seen, it's rather easy to kill someone wielding it (or at least it was with a shotgun). I'll have to work on unlocking it tonight when I give the new expansion a run for it's money (didn't want to start it until I unlocked a scope for my SVD, I hate iron sights on DMR's).

    I have yet to watch last nights episode (apparently 8 central means 9 my time, when did this happen because I'm an hour behind them) but last Thursdays episode was really something. So apparently instead of killing these people Irisa is saving them? I must of missed something because I'm confused as all hell right now and whats with these weird ass flashbacks that shes having? Were those her real parents she's seeing? Gah, so many questions and not enough answers yet. Was rather interesting to see how Nolan was taking these changes in Irisa. You can really tell he cares for her but he just doesn't know what to do. And what the hell, I thought Sukar died last season. Did I miss something because I could of sworn they dunked him in the acid bath thing after the nano-machines went offline? Datak getting out of jail wasn't a real shocker but I'm still surprised they let him out, even with Doc Yewll's backing. I had to laugh at the end of the episode when Datak was going off on them. Not like they didn't deserve it but honestly it was quite hilarious. Kinda curious to see what happens now that you said they get their revenge. Might have to watch the episode tonight before work if I remember too. I like how this show is taking a much darker turn. I mean last season was fun and all but it lacked the drama this season is putting forth. I wouldn't be surprised if we see some pretty major characters bite the bullet before the end of this season.

    So I finally got around to beating Diablo 3 this morning and on my way through Heaven I ran into a demon named Sledge. Is there something you're not telling us Sledge?

    F'in whiners. I hope they realize that outside of the money Sony threw at Activision to get the special treatment for Destiny that Bungie is probably doing this as a slam in Microsoft's face for the way they treated them during their time developing Halo for them. Honestly MS screwed Bungie by taking the rights to Halo as part of the deal for them to leave but Destiny is already a much better game then Halo ever was (don't get me wrong I love the Halo series but honestly giving the game to 343 was, imo, the worst thing they could of done for the series) and I'm happy Sony is get preferential treatment with it. Make me even happier that I bought a PS4.

    Pfft, this is why you reformat the computer and put Windows 7 on it. Fixes all your problems. I still refuse to upgrade to Windows 8. My friends has been harping me to do it because "it's so much better then 7." Yea, I'll pass thank you. Sadly this is what happens when you take an OS designed to be used by tablets and try and re-purpose it for use as a desktop OS.

    So if the leak is true apparently this is releasing on the 15th of this month. Am I the only one thinking this is a bad move since the Destiny beta starts up for PS3/4 users on the 17th and the 360/One users a few days after? I know they have a huge fan base for this game but honestly do you think those of us in the Destiny beta are going to drop that to come play a DLC that I honestly think should of been released last month.

    Hmmm, definitely an interesting start to the season with those two eps (yea I'm slow, lot of crap going on). I'm happy to see Stahma finally grew a pair (persay) and has finally shown us her true colors. I really wish we would of seen more of it last season but I'm really happy to see it now. I really want to know where this Irisa story is going because this random killing people for no apparent reason is confusing the crap out of me. Quite honestly I'm surprised Nolan was offered his job back considering his past. I just wonder how Tommy is going to take it when he finds out (seems to really like his new job, would hate for him to lose it even if he isn't the right man for the job). I'm also extremely happy to see Datak in jail. I really don't like him and hope something bad happens to him on the inside.
