Honestly I think this is probably the most retarded thing I've seen in years (console wise). Quite honestly I don't see the point, I have my Droid Bionic for Android based games and apps and my laptop for Steam so I really don't see the point to this. Plus I'm sure this thing will be released at a ridiculous asking price.

Holy crap whats the range on those shotguns cause you were pulling some pretty far away kills with it? Nice videos btw So this explains why I haven't seen you on Halo in awhile, been playing the COD. Got a friend trying to talk me into buying this and watching those vids makes me miss my old COD days (not that much mind you, I never got into multiplayer for BO1 and MW2 turned me away from multiplayer to begin with).

UPS Driver Steals Christmas Gift Delivered By FedEx
Strider Hiryu replied to DeathscytheX's topic in News Column
More then likely because Gateway computers are pieces of crap (used to have a Gateway desktop, was nothing but a pain in my ass). I believe it used to be set up that way, if an order was more the $250 it required a signature no matter what (even if you didn't want to sign for it) or at least I know it used to be for UPS (one of my friends used to drive for them). FedEx I'm not sure but I remember back in the day I used to have to sign for all my packages that came through them (back when GameStop still used them to ship games). I know when I got my laptop last year I had to sign for (then again it was freaking expensive) but that's the only thing I've signed for in the past 3 years or so. -
Not entirely surprising. They've been having financial difficulties for the last year or so (with the cancellation of some games and the dropping of non-profitable franchises). I'm surprised they didn't go completely under though I'm somewhat happy to see they haven't (even if I rarely buy THQ titles).

UPS Driver Steals Christmas Gift Delivered By FedEx
Strider Hiryu replied to DeathscytheX's topic in News Column
That's how delivery companies are in the US. It costs them more money to keep it until it can be delivered so they just leave them now-a-days unless you pay extra money for the option to have a signature on delivery when you order it. It's retarded if you ask me. -

[AC] Happy Holidays! Merry Christmas!

Happy Holiday's AC! Hope everyone had a great day -
Hooray for shoutbox, boo for no Kos-Mos

Wow, mobile version of the site is confusing me >.<
-
Oh I figured it out but at 6 am after 7 hours of work the mobile version is a little daunting (and confusing). Though I do say I like the way it looks and (as I noticed right before posting this status update) you can switch it over to the full version.
And a GG says what?

UPS Driver Steals Christmas Gift Delivered By FedEx
Strider Hiryu replied to DeathscytheX's topic in News Column
This is generally why when I order stuff I have it sent USPS (if it's an option). Sadly few places send anything through the mail anymore *looks at GameStop with an evil eye* -

Wow, what a douchebag. -
Ah, so that's what all those blueprints were for that were circling /m last night (thought maybe it was a new mech game). This definitely has got my attention because whats better then massive robots fighting monsters?

Disney Buys Lucasfilm For $4.05 Billion

Disney Buys Lucasfilm For $4.05 Billion
Strider Hiryu replied to Myk JL's topic in Movies, TV & Books
I already think he has enough money for 5 lifetimes, I mean he gets money off of every thing sold with the Star Wars name on it (and we know just how much stuff that is). Apparently VII - IX are supposed to be a whole different story set in the time after episode VI but won't follow any established book or game lore. Also Lucas is still staying on as a consultant so he's not completely done with the Star Wars franchise yet. -
Disney Buys Lucasfilm For $4.05 Billion
Strider Hiryu replied to Myk JL's topic in Movies, TV & Books
I sense a disturbance in the force. Quite honestly I don't see this being a good thing and probably never will. Disney is going to fuck something up massively, I just know it (don't get me wrong, I'm not a huge fan of Lucas myself but Disney owning Star Wars just rubs me the wrong way). The only thing that piques my interest is the SW7 because I, quite frankly, cannot think of a place they can place this movie except for before the events of the movies (aka KoToR era which is still being explored through TOR). The lore for what happens after movie 6 is pretty concrete and there isn't much wiggle room for a movie unless they base it off one of the multitude of books that have been written. -
No sir, Strider took vacation so he could have his birthday off (kinda drunk, don't mind the third person talk). No party. Just went out for a few drinks with my parents and some other family members and friends. Twas fun and I think I drank to much.

But is he another year wiser? (j/k). Happy Belated Birthday Kite! Hope if was a great one.

Spent a lot of time reading as a child but hell if I remember most of what I read though I was a fan of the Boxcar Children, a huge fan of Goosebumps (yes I loved these books as a child), and a friend of mine got me into Dinotopia (though where I left off reading them I forgot so long ago, haven't touched them since 5th/6th grade).

A tad bit late but Happy Birthday GG!
-
The real reason GG doesn't want this place to disappear Oh dear lord I remember those places, that was way back in the day (and I was a member/frequent poster on all of them). If fact I think AF was where Cloud kidnapped me from and brought me over (so long ago, don't really remember anymore). Sadly I'm more of a lurker these days, I'm usually here 4-5 times a day but I just don't have much to say anymore (plus I have weird hours, working overnights and whatnot). Maybe a switch is what AC needs to get people posting again, that or bring out the gas and chibi-eppy's to force people back. Those last 2 are just suggestions, you really don't have to take them seriously (for gods sake do not let the chibi's free).

How often are you called for jury duty?
Strider Hiryu replied to slippers's topic in Rants and Raves / Issues
I'll probably jinx myself posting this but I've never been summoned. My mother was summoned last year but I've so far dodged the bullet. -
I like how Myk summed that up. This is exactly why I said the original endings were fine as they were. Sure there were plot holes but I just figured they'd fill them in and fix them in the next ME game.
-
Honestly the new endings were a waste of time on Bioware's part. I'm with DX, I felt the original endings gave enough closure and didn't need to be retold because a few fans got all butt hurt because it didn't end the way they wanted it to. Quite honestly there should of only been one ending to begin with, to destroy the Reapers. I went into this game knowing my mission was to destroy the Reapers, that's what ME1 set up and ME2 capitalized on with the Arrival DLC so the only ending I was choosing was the Destroy ending. Having multiple endings, imo, was a waste of time and resources on Bioware's part to begin with (resources they could of used to make TOR a much better game then it is (that's for another time though)). I did watch all the endings though and none of them really changed any from the originals outside of the stills and explanations of how life would go on from there on out (the refusal ending was retarded btw, why they added that I'll never know) depending on your choice in the end. Quite frankly the gameplay of this one plus the overall story for getting to the end are what intrigued me since in my book there was only one way this game was supposed to end I'm just saddened that Bioware didn't stick to the original ending and caved in to fan whining. They should be proud of what they made and stick by their guns, not change it because some of their consumers didn't get what they wanted.

I'm sold, loved the last one and this one looks to be just about as good (though I don't know if I'm up for this whole revenge crap). Hopefully its got as much or more action then the last one.
