  1. God this makes me want this game even more. Why can't it be 2015 already?
  2. God I'm going to hate Metro and Locker after this is released because the MAARS is going to be a huge pain in the ass and you know everyone is going to use the damn thing. I'm really going to like the new guns.
  3. F'ing whiners, never happy unless it's completely optimized for PC gameplay. This is why I hate PC gamers (even though I play games on PC I don't whine about crap like this). Uplay was having problems all around, hell last night my game kept freezing up on PS4 because I was constantly losing connection to the Uplay server (PS4 was having trouble resolving the damn disconnect problems causing me to restart the game twice). Didn't get mad though, game is freaking fun as hell and rather amazing imo (from what I've played, not exactly that far. Too busy hacking peoples phones for money, fighting crime, and killing gang members).
  4. I have no idea why I find this so damn amazing but with the PSN app on your phone you can turn the thing on and off. Again I don't know why I find it amazing. On a side note Watch Dogs is pretty damn fun.

It's also awesome how you can tell it to download a game from the PS store while you're at work.

As much as I'm loving this game. The complete lack of facial expressions is killing me. XD Aiden and his Sister look emotionless while talking. It doesn't ruin the game for me, but I find it awkward, because the story is pretty good so far.

Using the in game engine rather than CGI cut scenes makes the game flow a lot better as well.

  5. Hmmm, considering I've only had mine for 2 months I have yet to run into this problem. Watch plenty of movies (both DVD and Blu-Ray) and that doesn't really tax the drive or cause it to vibrate any more then usual (that I've noticed). Interesting little system problem. Only disc drive problem I ran into was mine deciding it didn't want to eject BF4 a few weeks ago yet still showed it as ejected on my system. Fixed by rebooting but that's the only problem I've had.
  6. Again the only cool thing in that entire trailer is Grimlock and Optimus riding him, otherwise it looks mediocore and to be rewriting what happened in the last three movies. If that truck Marky Mark finds is Optimus why in the hell would he need to be resurrected? For christ sakes this movie is only taking place 4 years after Dark of the Moon. Gah, Bay needs to just take his hands off my freaking childhood because all hes doing is ruining it.
  7. Pffft, I'm quite happy with my PS4. Only reason I'd buy a One is for Titanfall and honestly I wasn't really impressed with what I've seen from live streams on Twitch. It's kinda funny though that it took them this long to drop the Kinect and now make Netflix and Hulu accessible without Gold.
  8. I'd love nothing more then to use the P90 but my fucking console reset my save data so I need to redo the first 5 stages again to get to where I was at before it happened. Been dreading going all the way back through it again so I'm holding off for now. The hand flare is very effective in close quarters combat because the damn thing blinds you (not as well as a flash but it's still pretty effective). People love using the damn thing in Metro to blind you so they can suicide run into the area and hopefully get through. I've got more then a few deaths on my record attributed to being blinded my hand flares.
  9. Yes sir, hour long Metro matches. They get kind of boring considering its the same crap over and over since, just like normal Metro, you bottleneck at the same damn points. It gets really fun when you can push each other back and forth between the starting areas, makes for much more interesting combat. I actually love the SCAR to death and was very hesitant to switch over to the F2000 but I don't think I'll be switching back anytime soon. I like the quicker fire rate and if you're good at burst firing it can get maybe 4 or 5 kills before the mag empties, good for those oh shit moments when 4 or 5 guys come around a corner. I'll most likely go back to the SCAR once the novelty of the F2000 wears off since I like to use the SCAR for mid-range sniping purposes when I'm playing medic instead of suicide under-barrel shotgun guy (I love that mounted shotgun to death). Heh, don't get me started on Impact grenades. I love those things to death. I've gotten so many multikills with them in Metro it's not even funny. I've been meaning to ask about your guy's experience with Incendiary grenades, I've never used them since they seem so pointless based off of watching others use them. I've maybe been killed twice by them and only because I was in no position to run away from the impact area (it was either die by burning or die by 1000 bullets).
  10. Look for the BCV (Bad Company Vetrans) 24/7 Metro server. That's where I got my assignment done. The ticket counts (as of Wednesday) were upped to 3200 for both teams thus making it so much easier to get that damn assignment done. Before finding it I had the same problem, always coming up 1 Kill Assist ribbon short. Don't have that problem on this server as an average match (with the 3200 ticket count) lasts an hour. It's also good for ranking up since you can get a crap ton of experience playing on it. It fills up quickly and is only active at certain times of the day (it's usually pretty dead in the early hours of the day but full at night, sometimes it's hard to get into).
  11. Well I took some of the pointers you gave me out for a test run on Tuesday and Wednesday and while I still suck at sniping (imo) I was able to pull off my first 945 meter headshot (though it took me roughly 10 shots to finally zero in on the bastard). Was actually able to get more kills which made me happy. Have to say the place the middle crosshair over the spot triangle is genius, best tip ever. Plus now that I'm used to the animation I don't think I'll have to use the straight pull bolt now. I actually like the fact that as long as you don't touch the joystick for aiming that your rifle stays exactly where it was aimed with the bipod, helps lining up the next shot so much easier. All I need is a little more practice and I should be able to get to being as good as I was in COD (I hope). I also have to say I just unlocked the F2000 for Assault and I absolutely adore that freaking gun, so easy to get kills by hip firing that it shouldn't be legal to use.
  12. Well the achievements/trophies make it seem that this will have somewhat of a moral system in it (not the likes of Fable/TOR/etc) and these characters just seem to prove that point. Honestly I'm happy Ubisoft is keeping tight lipped about the campaign. It gets me more hyped for the game and I enjoy it more the less I know because I don't go into it knowing most of the story.
  13. I might start playing it come the beginning of Season 2 since it's free to play. My friend has been nagging me to get it since he bought it last year but I wasn't overly that interested then. Not really interested now but since I don't have anything outside of BF4 to play on my PS4 this'll give me something to do until I finally pick up a copy of Watch Dogs.
  14. I'm about 6000 points away from the SKS so about a match or two and I should have it unlocked if I use DMR's exclusively the next time I get on. Hmmm I actually like the ACOG on the RFB, I'm a lot more accurate and can actually hit the target as opposed to the iron sights though I have noticed that muzzle climb does screw with the ACOG quite a bit,. I'll have to check out the Reflex once I unlock it for the RFB. Since they're similar to the aperture sights on WaW I should be able to dominate with a reflex on a DMR (I was godly with the SVT-40 with an attached aperture sight). Anything that makes me better is always a plus since about all I'm good at in BF4 currently is playing the ammo mule or the medic roles (both roles I like but they do get a little rough when playing on a wide open map like Gulf of Oman or Operation Firestorm (yes I play Second Assault a lot)).
  15. I shall put these new tactics into practice tonight and see if I get any better at sniping (and if not go watch more of your vids). My problem is after 200 meters it's touch and go with me. Sometimes I line the shot perfectly and other times I fall a good 10-20 meters short and the target moves or another sniper picks me off. I think my major problem is I'm used to semi-auto snipers from COD, I'm not used to bolt-actions so the coming out of scope to chamber another round really throws me off. Okay how did you get that kill in the first DMR vid DX, with a relex sight at that? I couldn't even see the guy and didn't know you got a kill till it popped up. If that's how good that gun is then I'll definitely be working extra hard on unlocking it. Yea, if I ever figure out how to fly a helo I'm definitely not flying one when I'm in a game with you on opposite teams. You're freaking deadly with a RPG and I do not want to be on the receiving end of one of your rockets
  16. 14?! Good lord that means I've been a member here for 13 years and that I was 15 when I joined. God I feel old >.< Happy Birthday AC! It's been a fun 14 years and lets hope for more to come.
  17. I like the separate loot per player system, will make it so much nicer instead of fighting over drops like you do in the MMO environment. I already know I'll be sniping almost exclusively (when I can). I'm all about the stay back and pick my targets off routine.
  18. , when you're ripping off Halo you really have sunk to the bottom (don't get me wrong I have always liked the Halo series but that's just low). The one thing I hate about BF is bullet drop. Yes I got spoiled in COD but I honestly cannot snipe in BF with that freaking bullet drop and that's the one thing I really love to do in FPS games. I just can't figure out how to judge my distance and aim appropriately (and yes I have practiced in the test range and I'm damn good in the test range, in actual gameplay I suck). That's my only complaint about BF and it's minor at best since I do love the DMR's (yea I don't get it either but I can snipe perfectly with a DMR) and LMG's. The teamwork and various ways to gain xp are what make BF so enjoyable for me. I love that if all I want to do is drop ammo boxes, med kits, blow tanks up, or survey the land I can and I get credit for doing so. This is what cemented my love for Bad Company when I first played it (outside of the hilarious SP). I wasn't being stuck into specific roles, I could evolve to the situation and do what was best for my team (instead of being a corner camper and pissing off people (like DX )). I honestly do hope this game does well, more so for Sledgehammer's own success. Development studios have been closing left and right and I'd really hate to see another one go especially for a shitty COD game.
  19. Considering how good Ghosts looked in trailers and then how bad the actual game was (I have friends who bought and absolutely hate Ghosts MP, some have said the SP is alright) I'm reserving all judgement until we see actual in-game footage and gameplay videos. Even if it does interest me I'll most likely still not buy it, I'm done giving Activision money for the same game with different skins. I'm not a fan of this 3 studio thing, the market is already over saturated with FPS games and not to mention with COD games. Activision is literally shooting themselves in the foot with the COD every year motif they've been following. You don't give your fans time to invest in any game since the next one is just a year away. Doesn't give you enough time to enjoy the game you just bought. Plus quality is really starting to fall in COD games, I've watched live streams on Ghosts and I'm quite honestly far from impressed with the multiplayer. They all still follow the COD4 motif and do very little to distinguish the game from one of the best FPS games I've ever played (I'll always love COD4 but since MW2 I have lost all interest in playing COD, hell the first Black Ops was a disappointment for me). This is why Battlefield does so well, not only is the game more solid in terms of gameplay but DICE doesn't release one every year also. Fans appreciate this as it gives them time to play the game, invest in the MP, and actually enjoy it until said time when the next one comes out. Plus lets face it, the multiplayer in BF is so much more fun.
  20. DMR's are amazing in BF4. Why didn't anyone tell me? They make playing the Recon kit so much more fun

The Airburst is such a cheap gun but I love it so much (especially on Metro and Locker). I can't wait till I unlock the SKS, shouldn't take long as long as I stay away from the 24/7 Metro server I found on Wed.

  21. Fucking Fox, always cancel the good fucking shows. It's Firefly all over again. *goes off to destroy something*
  22. Oh yea, I'm definitely stoked for this after that video. It needs to be September right now. Gah, I just wish they'd announce beta dates already.
  23. Check out Aria The Origination when you get a chance GG because it's full of awesome moments (I'm not afraid to admit I cried twice during the season, two parts are extremely heartwarming that you just can't help but cry). My only complaint about it is that it's the last season (so very very sad, this show should of never ended but then again it ends exactly where the manga ends so you really can't complain). The OVA is quite nice as well, a nice little addition to an already awesome show. Sketchbook, another great series (I really need to get caught up on the manga) as is Haibane Renmei.
  24. Considering how much anime I've seen this is a tall order to ask of me (643 series, OVA, movies, and specials completed (according to MAL, that's somewhat off)). My tastes have changed considerably over the last couple of years (more so in the last 6) and whereas in the past it might of been action packed series or harem/fan service series now-a-days it's hard for me to choose my top 2 or 3 anime (also, like DX, my top 10 fluctuates as I see more and more series). My top 3 have stayed pretty consistent over the last couple of years so I'll list them and it's safe to say these will always be shows I find myself watching, even 10 or so years down the line. My number 1 choice would have to be Aria (the whole of the series, no just one season or the OVA). A series that has found it's way into my heart and refuses to leave. I love everything about this show. The art is amazing, the soundtrack is superb (I listen to it everyday while I sleep), and the characters are lovable (especially President Aria, you just can't help but love that cat). Yes, it's one of those cute girls doing cute things shows so it's not everyone's cup of tea (especially since there is no action and the story character driven). This is one of those very few shows that I watch when I'm in a foul mood, it immediately puts me into a better mood and completely relaxes me. I highly recommend this show to everyone as long as your okay with slice-of-life shows. My number 2 show is a show I never thought I'd like but after watching it at a friends urging fell in love with it immediately and that's Mushishi. Much like Aria I love everything about this show. The art (imo) is amazing, I love the soundtrack, the characters are amazing (Ginko is the man, no one can tell me differently), and the episodic nature of the show makes every episode enjoyable. Again this is another show that is on the slow side so don't go into it expecting great action sequences and what not. The show is centered around the relationship between Mushi and how they interact with nature. Like Aria I highly recommend this show to everyone and the second season just started airing here three weeks ago (much to my happiness, I never knew how much I missed this show still I started watching the second season). Those are my top two anime on my list at the moment. The third one would be a hard choice as it's tied between quite a few series and movies and I really don't want to choose between them. More so because I love all the shows equally and don't want to demote the others just because I had to choose one. As I said there's no action packed series or mech series here (surprising to a few I'm sure, being the huge Gundam and Mecha fan that I am) but as I said before my tastes have changed a lot in the last 6 years and shows like those just don't interest me much anymore (the exception here being Kill la Kill, this show is absolutely amazing and I don't care what anyone says. Those of you who enjoyed Gurren Lagann (a show I still have yet to see) would most likely enjoy it since the same studio did Kill la Kill). I never really got into the whole shounen genre mostly because shows that last more than 50 episodes are usually start taking a turn for the worst after that point (no I have not been watching One Piece, I still mean to get around to it but who has the time to watch 600+ episodes just to get caught up (I don't even know what ep number it's up to)).
  25. Yea Yaya has been talking about it non-stop on Twitter (as have Holly, Jessica, and Jesse). Can't wait to watch it when it airs. By the looks of the trailer we can expect one more guy at least but we're losing two cosplayers from last season (I know Monica isn't in this season due to school and I don't think they brought back Riki (Riddle) for this season). Yes, I follow all of them on Twitter (don't judge me). Heh, I stopped watching Top Shot because of the house drama. I missed the last season due to the freaking drama driving me away from it in the season before. Now I really wish I would of watched it. Sadly this is the problem with reality tv, they're trying to turn it into reality soaps and not give the viewers what they want. I stopped watching Survivor after the first season due to this (loved the first season but every season since has been a sad attempt to draw more people in with more drama).
