  1. Don't mind GG, he's not all there. Welcome back!
  2. FFXI shares servers for all three platforms it's on (PS2, 360, PC), that's the one thing I liked. It allowed my roommate and I to play together as he played on his 360 and I played on PC. He generally had a USB keyboard hooked up when he played on his 360 (mostly for talking) but the cool thing is that everything could be used very easily on the controller. Mapping macro's and accessing menu's was rather easy (I played his character on his 360 for awhile and picked it up pretty easily).
  3. True, get where you're coming from there. It's retarded to have to pay a subscription to play a game while paying another subscription to be able to play that game on the system it's on. It's basically why I told my roommate he was an idiot for playing XI on his 360 due to the amount of money it cost to do so. To each their own I guess.
  4. They'll have XIV on the 360, XI was a major hit for the 360 and MS won't fail to capitalize on that type of revenue. It's just a matter of time before they work out a deal to get it. It's beneficial for both MS and Square to have XIV on the 360. Paying $50 a year for a gold account is nothing and if you're willing to pay $12-15 a month to pay to play an online game it's just another expense added on top of it. They're not forcing you to pay for gold, you can have a silver account just good luck getting access to the best online multiplayer servers in console history. Those who want to play XIV on the 360 will pay for gold and the normal subscription fee because they're most likely those who played XI on the 360. To be honest MMO's aren't for console anyways, they're one of the few games that need to stay solely on the PC market.
  5. That thing is freaking awesome, think I need to go get a change of pants. Pfft, the only thing powerful enough in today's standards that could power a Gundam is a Nuclear Fusion Reactor. There's no way in hell any government would sanction the building of an actual Gundam for fear of the thing blowing up.
  6. Bah, now I wish I wouldn't of traded this in for Splinter Cell.
  7. The coconut M&M's are freaking awesome, rather tasty. The new skittles aren't bad every once in awhile (get old fast though). Mostly just a gimmick to get kids more interested.

    Yello Hello

Nah but she's popped in a few times since then.
  9. And the government yet again proves just how fucking stupid they are.

    Yello Hello

*rubs eyes in disbelief* Holy crap! What's up?
  11. I'm intrigued, wonder what the campaign will be like. Considering this is one of my favorite series as well I'll have to keep an eye on it.
  12. X'D Welcome to the insanity!
  13. First anime I ever saw was Speed Racer, Voltron, and Sailor Moon back before I knew what anime was. What drew me into anime was DBZ however when a friend introduced it to me back in 6th grade (that's when I subsequently found out that Speed Racer, Voltron, and Sailor Moon were anime). Hah, I remember that. Back when GG was just starting out and asking me all those mecha questions via PM. Good times.

  15. I didn't, I actually laughed at how corny it was. Then I got depressed when I realized she was my only healer >.< I really wish 2 hours of gaming was like taking a line of cocaine, I could use a high right now. About all gaming does now is frustrate the hell out of me.
  16. Considering how bad the illegal problem is in Arizona (it's bad, I've lived down here for almost 3 years now and I've gotten to see how bad it is. Thank god I'm moving back to ND in July) I understand full well why it was passed. It really, the way I see it, has nothing to do with the republicans lack of caring for the constitution. It's more racial oriented than anything else, especially considering the general attitude toward illegals in Arizona and the general attitude towards Hispanics. Sadly, considering how ass backwards this state is (nothing personal HK or any other Arizonans), I doubt they'll change their minds on the issue. I personally don't agree with it, mostly considering most of my friends/co-workers from work are Hispanic and are afraid of whats going to happen them since, as my co-worker said, "It's illegal to be Mexican now." Hell they passed a freaking law where you don't need a concealed weapons permit now, this state is going to turn into an all out war zone soon with all this shit going down. Don't even get me started on the things the freaking Sheriff gets away with down here, it's completely ridiculous.
  17. (sorry for late reply, class work and work have overloaded me over the last week x_x) That's the problem with UC Gundams, armed to the teeth ones are few and far between. Most suits in the UC timeline are armed with basic weapons and with realistic load outs. The only real, armed to the teeth suit would be the RX-78GP03 Gundam Dendrobium Orchis but sadly they don't make a model for this suit (or that I can find). If you can find it check into the RX-78GP02 Gundam Physalis, every place I've looked (from my normal sights) seems to have it back ordered but this is like the only Gundam with a nuke launcher (making it pretty armed to the teeth imo). If anything I'd say head on over to mahq.net and take a look at the Gundam section. They have full work ups of all Gundam mechs from all Gundam series with pics, you can use that as a way to judge suits to buy as models (you'll find more models for the older series of UC, the newer ones had limited mechs made for models).
  18. The main difference between an 1/100 HG over a 1/100 MG is the increased amount of parts to build with (MG have more do to detail level and also has see through plastic beams and some die cast metal parts pending on the model bought (both my Zeta and Nu Gundams came with die case metal parts)). MG's also take more time to build. Both my Nu and Zeta took me 10 1/2 hours a piece to get fully built. They require a lot of patience to get done and after a good 5 hours of building your fingers are going to hurt from all the snapping of parts and what not. Other then that it's just detail level as MG's are so much better looking then HG's. The instructions usually tell you where to put the stickers. Just detach them from their sheet carefully and place the stickers in the places the instructions says (generally you can use your exacto knife to take them off the sheet and to help you place them, I did so and it helps a lot when trying to get them into the right place). If it doesn't tell you where to put them bring up a variety of pics from the internet of varying angles of the suit and look at the stickers. Then start placing them on the Gundam in reference to the pictures you have (all the stickers match up to whats on the Gundam in the anime, it's just a matter of maneuvering them into the places once you find where they go). How exactly did you break the stickers though? Sadly (it seems) MG models are getting harder to find these days as they're refusing to make them for newer series or they make very few. As a suggestion for what suit to get go through the various series you enjoy and see if you can't find any MG models in that series. From their pick the ones you like the best. As a rule of thumb I never recommend particular Gundams, it's best for you to choose what ones you want yourself. However, if you want to start building MG models your best bet is to go for UC Gundam series (like MSG, Zeta, 8th MS, 0080, 0083, Char's Counterattack, Double Zeta, Victory, F91, etc.) as they seem to have more MG models then the newer AU series (like I said earlier I was disappointed to find out they only had the Exia in MG for 00 as I wanted MG models for the Dynames and 00), seems people don't buy MG's like they used too.
  19. Ummm...yea about that tentacle. You can have it back *hands GG the tentacle back* Happy late B-Day AC. 10 years and still full of wackiness.
  20. They can't touch Wall-E, different studio did it. Only Pixar has the rights to make another Wall-E. I don't know I'll probably meander out to see the new Shrek considering I've seen the other three (though the first one was the only good one imo).
  21. I have an account due to a friend in class telling me about it (and trying to get me to play it). Haven't actually gotten on yet to try it out as I've been busy with my final graduation project and classes in general (not to mention work on the outside of it). Been meaning to try it out though. If I remember correctly my summoner name is Unhallowed.
  22. Shhhhh.......no one is supposed to know. Now I'm going to have all the governments on my ass. Time to go into hiding. *disappears* I know, I'm trying to find a way to budget in money for it but with me graduating in two and a half months I need to save money to move back home. Curses, that would look so pretty next to my Dante figurine. 00 next to the Falcon would be freaking awesome.
  23. Unicorn Gundam from Gundam Unicorn (the new Gundam thats currently coming out). Try looking elsewhere Kite, no matter what the general cost of a MG (in USD) is between $30 (low end) to $70+ (high end, depends on what it comes with and popularity). Importing directly out of Asia is whats making it expensive as hell. Yea it seems only the Exia got a MG line besides the GN-X. Odd considering most of the series at least has a MG run off all the major Gundams and a few of the grunt suits (I was looking for an MG Gundam 00 today but they don't make them ) Behold http://www.hlj.com/product/BAN961016 I literally think I need to change my pants after seeing this. Freaking $110 shipping though. If the shipping wasn't so expensive I'd so buy it right now.
