Strider Hiryu

There hasn't been any real talk or rumors spreading (I've been paying attention because I'm curious also). I'm hoping Hero Legends picks it up if they're still around. They're subs for Gundam X and Turn-A Gundam are extremely well done and I doubt many groups can match their quality.

I was greatly disappointed in the Finale. I was expecting more. I mean did they beat the Ori, was the Asgard Tech actually going to be used, etc. I mean come on, where's the freaking closure. I seriously knew they'd fuck something up (ever since the Ori arc started up I knew things were going downhill). The new movie better bring some damn closure with Ori arc because where it is now we're left wanting more. Also I doubt any of the Asgard tech will be used in Atlantis considering that the Atlantis crew is in a pretty sticky situation right now and the fact that they are sitting in one of the most advanced ships in we've ever seen I doubt they'll need it (plus Atlantis just keeps going downhill, if I remember correctly the Ancients were technologically superior to the Asgard). Plus the fact that it'll take the SGC a few years to reverse engineer the Asgard tech to be used in there current tech level. I must say I'm happy Amanda signed on for Atlantis now though (should hopefully make the show more interesting to watch).

Good lord man I know your pain. I've had days like this myself, where things just go from bad to worse. I hope tomorrow is better for ya because frankly I'd shoot myself if I had to go through that two days in a row (and I've come close to that. Theres nothing worse then having to clean crap like that up (been there and done that with what you mentioned and vomit, I shudder at the thought of having to do it again)).

Yea, I found that interesting also. Really don't know how to take it but I'm still disappointed that the Gundam formula has come down to pretty boy pilots just so they can snag female viewers. I only hope the storyline is good and the characters prove to have interesting personalities. If they don't I might have to swear off of all new Gundams to come in the future.

Main characters and Gundams have been announced: For pictures and what not head to ANN and read the announcement/article. Article has the scoop. The Gundams look rather interesting this time around but again we have pretty boy pilots by the looks of it (and some with bad pasts).

Eh, it didn't interest me and I watched the good majority of it while it was on AS. I loved Aeon Flux but this just didn't catch my attention. GG it's kind of a retelling/alternate telling of the story of Alexander the Great. I don't know how to exactly describe it beyond that. Kinda glad to see a new Gundam game is coming out but why a hack and slash? I'll most likely buy the 360 version just to say I have it but this isn't getting me as excited as Mobile Ops.

Sadly I think you're right Eva. With MS IGLOO being the latest jaunt down the old UC trend I doubt we'll see anything else out of it. I guess Sunrise really is coping out with the AU Gundam series since they want to profit more off of models then the show (which it's well known that Gundam models sell better then the grunt suits, hence the Wing/SEED based formula for this). GRX don't even get me started with whats wrong with SEED. It started out on a good premise but after episode 5 it took a turn for the worst and then they decided to continue that with Destiny. I'll never understand how Sunrise even let that show see the light of day or how the Director (his name escapes me at the moment) was allowed to create this drivel.

Set to start showing in October. Must say I'm happy to see a new Gundam coming out but disappointed to see it's yet another AU series and yet again focuses on more then one Gundam (4 Gundams this time). I was really hoping for another trip back into the UC timeline (or to at least get another Tomino style Gundam) with another side story but I'll give this one a shot, kinda interested with it being set in our Calender. Hopefully it'll prove to be better then the atrocity known as the SEED franchise.

Really???? Man I wasn't paying attention to it at work so I missed the last half of both showings last night. Man that sucks. Carson was my favorite character out of them all.

Doesn't take much to figure it out. God Gundam wouldn't fly with parents and religious groups so they took the logical step to save their butts from lawsuits and changed the name in the dub, just like they did with the Devil Gundam.

Eh, I played City of Heroes for 14 days (friend got me in with a 14 day trial). Got to around level 18 before my accounts froze. Was a different experience and I only played because my friend wanted me too. I was in the City of Villains beta and played for about a month after it was released. City of Villains was a lot more fun then Heroes but again it just isn't as fun as it could be (would rather play WoW). Both games rely to heavily on team based play, which I frankly do not like (true you can level alone but it goes much faster if you group with people in CoH/CoV). Plus I've never really been into the whole Superhero/Supervillain franchise, it's just never interested me. I am thinking of going back to CoV though for awhile. Need to change up MMO's for awhile. I can't remember the server names at all but the server I was on in CoV started with an I (I think). I think my character names were Nexus and Vesper (they're probably deleted. Been 1-2 years since I last played the game).

Last I checked it was $3.29 and it's only going to go up more from the impression I get from my boss and the owner (I work at a gas station now).

I'm with Vinnie, I was hoping the movie would be focused more on the Transformers and their fight. Eh, the trailer looked good but I'm still skeptical about whether the movie will actually be good or not (the Transformer fan in me is getting worried that this movie will be complete crap).
