none of those series ripped off anything power rangers was just the US name for the Super Sentai series....they spliced a lot of original US footage in but about 90% of all the action scenes were original japanese footage and just dubbed over

the anime is true to the manga up till the inspector guy's death then it alters on the anime only path -
