Plus they're insured for a year. So that's an added bonus. I knew something was wrong, but I was waiting for some lights to come on.... But the loud grinding started and I figured it was time to fix it. Lol

Be glad you didn't see any lights for the brakes. If you do it usually means you have no stopping power because the brake fluid leaked out. Either that or your ABS has completely failed. I've had ABS mostly fail before. While I was braking the pedal it literally pulsed about 3 times about 1/2 inch each time and then went straight to the floor. If that ever happens, let go of the brake and keep pumping it manually. It happened a couple times and I still didn't have a light go o...

Its amazing how many sensors are in a car, but major things don't have sensors at all.. like the calipers and brakes.. if you have bad rotors and one breaks, you'll never see a light go off even tho the car is screaming at you in metal horror. Oh.. and a co worker broke a tie rod on the freeway once. Her front left wheel went sideways under her car while going 65 mph.. she almost flipped the car and still didn't have a service engine soon light go off. x_x
