    Finished Death Note... The end was fitting, but I didn't like Near or Mellow as much as I did L. The change didn't sit well with me. But I did like the mutual respect that even Light acknowledged near the end.

      L was a great character. The last half felt rushed in comparison to everything that happened with L.

      Especially how Light made so many mistakes at the end like not noticing the marks on the note pads. Earlier in the series he caught everything and was extra cautious. On a side note, I wonder how many years Misa has left after gaining years from the first Shinigami, making the eye deal twice, and then gaining Rem's years.
