Finally made one of the major 4 components to make one half of the greatest weapon of Guild Wars 2. Its a grind, but its a grind that feels like I am always making progress towards.

4 in one second is much better than 5-6 an hour.

Reading more about the daily log in reward makes me wonder if they'd be kind enough to add the same ultra rare chance at a precursor through the exotic weapon chest, that dungeon chests, heavy moldy bags, and WvW loot bags have.

They really should. The amount of work to craft a legendary is huge as it is. But the rarity of a precursor drop is more random than getting an exotic from the cryptarch in destiny.
