  1. Most likely a sequel. The gameplay is going to be vastly different. Perhaps its in a world without gods or titans. It looks like they are going Last of Us style... but they could always pull a MGS2 on us and have the son be the main character after what is shown in the video. Then again the Troll says Val Halla... so the rumors that he will take on the Norse gods may be true.
  2. I'm really pumped for this game... It looks to me you can hack and slash through all the regulars and only the more serious enemies you have to melee. The guy that played it live was worse than the one that did this demo. The attack tells are generous enough to move your guard into the right spot... or maybe thats just because I'm use to GW2 boss tells. I was really sold on the MP, but now this campaign looks great, being able to use the environment and what not. It's co-op too which adds to the fun.
  3. The Division's problems stems from the fact that the head guy left and was replaced by someone that was in charge of cell phone games. She has no concept of the fact that these people play these games for hours a day rather than a few minutes at a time. They've been slowly getting around to fixing the loot system, but its taken too long. A lot of people jumped from Destiny to this and were met with the same loot grind in the end. Everyone I played with has moved on to something else sadly.

    INSIDE

I guess its an XB1 exclusive, but it will be on PC as well. Its from the makers of Limbo.
  5. I never noticed how bad it was until I watched this.. just wow. I remember when everyone was on Sony's case for that Killzone trailer when PS3 was announced... but these guys take it to the next level... Rainbow Six is above all the worst offender. At least Watchdogs and The Division kept the spirit of the visuals to a degree.
  6. They announced 6 new titans and more customization. The wave blast weapon is new, the mega beam I don't think is... the trailer didn't show anything super new besides the grappling hook and possible new melee attacks. The movement system is still far superior to COD's as its longer and more fluid. There were also way more Titans on the map at one time. Now that its no longer tied to last gen, I think every player can have a titan active at the same time. I hope that titan throw from the SP trailer can be done in MP you could launch yourself across the map to get to another cap point real fast. The titan swords were only in the SP trailer as well. They'll show more at E3 I'm sure since this was a 1 hour EA event. EDIT: http://www.vg247.com/2016/06/13/titanfall-2-post-launch-maps-and-game-modes-will-be-free/ I'm def gonna get this game.. it might just sit to the side a while. They're really going after COD hard.
  7. If you look at when Jackfrags tried to snipe the plane, the curvature was insane. It barely went up and did a hard curve like a noob tube on COD. Its a very brief moment since he scopes out and start running, but you'll be able to see it if you look for it. I dont think these shots will be remotely possible with any type of skill.. it would have to be pure luck where hit someone without them even being in scope. I did however, notice the quick reload system they brought to BF4 actually works historically for this game. If you rewatch the sniper video and just pay attention, if you reload on empty, you'll load a clip into the mag well real fast, but if you reload before you empty, you'll put in one bullet at a time as if you were loading a pump action shotgun. http://www.vg247.com/2016/06/13/battlefield-1-operations-mode-is-a-continuous-battle-across-multiple-maps/ Operations mode sounds crazy... hopefully it will work as intended... that one BF4 mode they tried to introduce was kinda crap. I think it was called chain link or something.
  8. There is lense flare, I saw one in an areal view during the live stream.
  9. Repairing inside of the vehicle at the cost of mobility is one of the best concepts the game came up with. Nothing is more frustrating than doing a repair only to have a rando squadmate spawn on you and take your tank. You were going to be a sitting duck anyways, so it gives you the ability to keep your vehicle when you repair. I remember when I'd spawn into a tank that my squadmate just jumped out of to repair, I'd quickly swap to gunner or get out. The majority isn't courteous though. Tanks wont be one man wrecking machines in this game tho like they were in BF4. Active Protection and Reactive armor made you unstoppable, especially if you had a good squadmate gunner that would repair you up between cool downs. With HE rounds, people that didn't have their tank unlocks were fodder. I remember winning 2 on 1s constantly on Golmud Railway. There should be a lot more emphasis on infantry which is great. Lopsided BF4 matches were discouraging when you team sucked so bad and the other team took all your tanks/attack boats, or just owned them all because they dominated all the cap points... those anti-tank nades seem to take anything out with 2 well placed hits, and even then taking out the treads on the big ones will be enough to slow them down. The Behemoth spawning for the team that's down is a interesting concept too, even though they lost the last match, Stonemoutain's team came back with a vengeance when it spawned for them. Once people get the hang of aiming the bombs, it will be devastating. It will be like a controllable version of the bomber on China Rising. Basically if you team loses lopsidedly, there isn't much of an excuse for it when you are given this thing. Sniping is def more close range, but the bullet travel is a lot faster too. I'd say twice as fast. That one guy was leading off way to much in the live broadcast, because he was use to BF4's bullet travel. I bet they limited the ranges because of those guys that post videos of their 2000m head shot while their team is down 250 tickets.
  10. I hope this game gets delayed. They're trying to Mollywhop COD too hard. BF1 is good enough and its not really fair to Respawn. Even a late November release would be better than where its at now.
  11. I suck at flying... but all the little details in the cockpit view was amazing... including the engine going. Maybe since its slower paced, I can get the hang of it and enjoy it. They started out good with the coverage and then it went to crap.... they kept zoning in on people right as they died over and over again and then going to areal view instead of going to another player. There were 64 people playing and they only focused on a small few.
  12. Things I noticed from the live stream When you spot enemies, it shows there class... this is really useful in order to take out the medic first. The time left to revive teammates is very noticeable. The hatchet is instakill with seemingly no long animation. Weather for every map is great and can change the dynamic of play. Snipers and bombers can be made totally ineffective outside of pure luck. I can already see people crying to change the algorythem to make fog happen less. The behemoth is 100% player controlled and therefore comes down anywhere on the map when taken out, bringing down whatever it lands on with it, and leaving its big metal frame. Sniping looks awesome, overall gunplay looks more challenging. The speed of movement looks like BF3 straight out the gate, and not the slower BF4 speed it had at launch. I like the new voice work for notifications. I don't know if its only for the British, but the softer woman's voice was a nice change from the usual generic radio static call outs. You don't have to leave your tank to repair, no more having your tank stolen when you're trying to fix it. I'm curious if you have to stay in place as only the driver? Or can a gunner repair while you're moving? While it may seem OP, the mutli-person tanks can be disabled a lot easier than in the last 2 games. Semi-autos have sniper scope options... I doubt I'll use them much as it would really screw up my normal range engagements.
  13. Gotta admit, the single player campaign looks damn good. Wish it came out later.
  14. Finished Yona of the Dawn. I really hope they make a season 2. The story was really good, and leaves so many questions to be answered. the animation was stunningly beautiful too.

  15. GTA5 was really good. The 3 character set up worked surprisingly well. You had 3 separate stories that intertwined. It was the only GTA I ever invested real time in. My first real experience with Rockstar was Red Dead Redemption which is my favorite open world sandbox game to date. I'll give it to them, they can make a good story. Saints Row 4 isn't as good as 3. But it's still a ton of fun for what it is. Vehicles become useless really fast even in the early stages of your powers.
  16. From looking at the reddit, you don't get gally, you just get the skin to apply when you get it. Which is false advertising and preying on the casual gamer. Apparently the Y2 version is going to be a bounty.
