  1. She was one shot sniping me without freezing me in one match, it was about the only time I got really frustrated. I don't mind the ice wall and ultimate, but her range on both gun modes need nerfs. From what I gather she was buffed in the closed beta when McCree was nerfed and she essentially took his place as the OP character. It's gotta be worse on the pc because of accuracy. That would be like Reinhardt one shotting people with his hammer throw while his hammer had triple the distance per swing. She's def not as pop on console because she doesn't look cool like Reaper, she looks like a nerd. If she looked sexy like Widowmaker or badass like Genji she'd probably be overly popular. I would like to see a quick play no duplicates mode, but if it's ever a rule on Weekly Brawl I'll play that exclusively all week.
  2. I'm terrible with Genji, deflects is about the only way I can get kills with him. I totally wrecked a Bastion player today with Widow. I know he had to be getting frustrated because I was corner popping him hard. I also kept killing a guy playing McCree to the point he was coming after me. I stopped his ultimate twice. It was awkward playing widow in attack escort but we won some how. I was reinhardt first but the bastion keep killing me by triple teaming with Reaper and D.Va. People are countering Reinhardt hard to where I don't play him as much anymore. Mei is super OP. But no one likes to play her as much so it's not a community complaint. She needs a nerf in one of 3 ways. HP reduction, range reduction, or that ice spike damage nerf. That ice spike can kill as good as hanzo or widow and her freeze ray range is absurd to where there is nothing you can do about it mid range beside die. She's not very squishy and she has that temp invulnerability as well. She's way too strong offensively and defensively. She has area denial that shields to top it all off. One side of her needs to be toned down alot. She's too mobile to be that powerful where only snipers can kill her effectively. I tried to play Mercy tonight and just swapped to Zenyatta so I could discord Mei. You just get targeted too hard now. She needs more HP or more mobility to get away. Hell I was catching her with slow ass Reinhardt tonight. My highly screen has 5 slots for Torb XD. If they ever nerf him it will probably be his gun rather than the turret. I was destroying Reinhardt, D.VA, and Roadhog with his ult fire. Pop his ultimate and it's like reaper shooting as fast as Soldier 76. Battleborn reduced their price because their population is really low. On PC they only have 6000 players at any given time. Paragon was $20 early access (now down to $10) and it's F2P. There might not be much of a community by the time black Friday hits. BF1 and COD are going to take away players from every game. They just came out at a bad time, and didn't advertise enough.
  3. Probably NPCs but they'll probably increase the amount of titans that can be summoned at the same time.
  4. https://www.vg247.com/2016/05/25/titanfall-2-to-include-grappling-hook-larger-maps-rumour/ I hope this doesn't come out til December or gets delayed til next year. Respawn isn't stupid, I'd be pissed of EA wanting my game to come out along side the most hyped game of the year. The bigger maps sound interesting but the vertical nature of the the first game made the maps seem big, even though not all maps had 3-4 storied buildings. The space for mechas to fight were a bit limited but at the same time there was ample cover to get to. Hopefully bigger maps have a heavy mix of laberynth like designs.
  5. Yeah the speaking complaint isn't really an issue to me, the rest of it is disheartening. They could have just made them speak orcish to each other and English to humans kind of like how Star Trek does with Klingons or when Spock is speaking with his dad.

  7. My vertigo has been bothering me lately, I played for about 4 hours last night. While I took medication for it, my body reactive negatively as if it was trying to get dizzy but couldn't. My heart rate was going nuts because the game was already intense but I guess it was pumping blood to my inner ears. I've only been in one lopsided match that I was on the winning side of. The rest have been down the the wire, especially on escort. One of my favorite matches had our payload hanging off the pad for a good 2 minutes, and the other team was fighting tooth and nail to keep us from getting it there. i was able to stun them with Reinhardt and crush bastion into the wall to let my team push it in for the win with like 10 seconds left. The game has been a huge adrenaline rush so far. The level of skill is a lot higher than it was in the beta. Torb is gonna get 20-30 kills every match. I know I do. D.Va is highly underappreciated right now. She can do some work on Reinhardt's shield and push him with her boosters. I'm really starting to dig Pharah more than I did in the beta. She has some serious area denial and can make quick work on annoying Tracer players. The Reaper problem is still there I think. My first match I had 2 on my team. He's always on both teams, I honestly don't know why, he really isn't that good TBH. I'm still wrecking him with Torb. His teleport is awful, I mean it gives away his spot well in advance. He's only good against other offensive characters. Torb and D.Va absolutely destroy him as well as McCree, Hanzo, Widow, and Genji. A good Genji is super deadly, and can end Bastion so fast with that deflect. One guy was trying to Ult us last night but everyone freaked out and focused him down so fast mid way through. He was def not a good Genji player.
  8. Day 1 report. The game hit a snag when servers went live. It lasted about 20 minute and then servers officially began functioning. I was booted out of my first game where I was going on a tear with D.Va but after that the game ran as great as the beta. People either learned a lot from the beta or studied reddit intensely. Reinhardt isn't as much as a powerhouse as he was in the beta. I shield was constantly getting shattered by Bastions or just the whole team actually focusing me down. I found myself swapping to Pharah quite often to AoE Bastion or push him off target with her special fire. Torbjorn is still as powerful as ever, but people to take better notice of the Turrets. I've had some Junkrats and Pharahs take them down pretty fast. I also learned Reinhardt's charge instakills them on impact. Mercy has a bigger target on her back than in the Beta... she needs a buff Most the trophies/achievements consist of getting 4 kills with one ultimate.
  9. It's hard to find an anime where a kid isn't the main character. I don't know what or where the trend came from. I started watching Dimension W, and not only is it great, the main character is a man. Sadly it's a simulcast and I watched all the dub eps which is only 1 ep behind the subs.
  10. Finished Linebarrels of Iron. It was an enjoyable Mecha anime. Although I feel the trend of a main character tapping into a incredible power, only to look weak in a fight unless they have an emotionally traumatic moment is getting old. It seems to be the most overused cliche in all of anime.

Thanks for the heads up about the Eureka Seven AO. I'll pass on that. I watched The Legend of Legendary Heroes, but I can't remember the ending, except that the last 4 or 5 episodes turned into disappointment. I've heard good things about One Punch Man. I looked at some of the manga and everyone appears to be adults and theres a bunch of DBZ style action and even some gore. I think I'll watch this one next.

One Punch Man is a parody I believe. The main character is so OP he's constantly bored. You don't remember the ending for LoLH because there wasn't one. -_-; it ended with the massive legion matching to battle and that was it. I just started Gangsta and so far it's good.

Oh that must be it. lol. I'm pretty certain One Punch man is a parody, but the fights that hes not in is what apparently makes the anime good. His side kick guy is some cyberneticaly enhanced bad ass that has amazing fights. Same with a bunch of other fighters, but theres no real tension in the series because that One Punch Man literally just kills everyone in 1 hit. Its the main reason I've avoided it, but after looking at a couple manga chapters, its really got my attention now.

  11. Anybody watch this? I thought they tried to do way to much and introduce way too many characters in the first ep. Hopefully it will take a more steady pace, but the next episode is 2 weeks away I read. They'll play an encore of tonight's ep next Sunday.
  12. I don't know if they'll make more after, but a Soldier 76 one comes out tomorrow and I believe one more will debut before or on launch.
  13. I stick to FUNI streaming for the most part, but I always check out netflix now and then for their exclusives... which is generally always better than their stale library. This was a pretty good watch. I'll def watch Season 2 when they get it.
  14. I'll skip it because I don't have a choice. I don't want their streaming service.
  15. It looks stupid. It has stupid modern humor. Ill pass. They'll criticise negative reaction to people being sexist. But it's the tone of the film and not the gender.
  16. Since I used my last Citizen Eco-Drive for 12-13 years before the band broke and I left it in the dark for too long, I ordered myself another one. Got a killer deal off jomashop.com. the watch is $725 MSRP and I paid $349. Considering amazon had it listed for $540 I feel I got an unreal price for a titanium timepeice.

This is the one i picked up. I love Citizen watches. They look better than Rolex and Omegas IMO. But they dont cost $5-45k XD I couldn't pay that much for a watch even if I was rich. Sure they last forever because they don't need batteries, but a spring or gear can still break or wear and its probably ungodly to get fixed since automatic watches are such a dying art. Citizen is solar powered and as long as you don't do what I did, they'll last a good 25 years until the cell needs to be replaced. Plus this one has a sapphire crystal so the lens shouldn't get all beat up like my old one did.

Thats a damn nice watch. I had a coworker that loved his Rolex. I just don't see the appeal in wearing $5k minimum on your wrist, that basically advertises yourself as a target for thieves. Some ppl like my old coworker see it as a display of wealth and personal achievement. To each their own I guess. A watch like the one you got is great tho. If you're going to get a watch, get a good one. As for me, I just pull out my phone to see the time. XD I used to wear watches way back in the day, but I'll probably never wear one again. I type way too much every day and the watch bands shred up my keyboard wrist cushions and aggravate my wrist after 8 hours of pressure.

I watched a video on Rolex the other night and they aren't even hand made outside of placing the logo inside the face. They are mass produced by machines and really only seem to be valued on their heritage and the fact that they make everything in house. I looked through a bunch of models just for fun and they all seem rather bland... I guess because of their old fashion nature. I'm a feature driven person and it seems you can get more features in a watch in the $200-700 range. One's that are truly handmade are astronomical. I see some on Jomashop for $400k+. With how bad my S6 battery life is, I figured a new timepiece will alleviate some of the strain... plus titanium is super light so I'm excited to see how it feels for being such a large face watch.

  17. I bought it because star wars. I didn't buy hardline and probably won't buy off year battlefields for that reason. I hear hardline has bad balance issues. A friend that played it said there was an assignment for a gun that made you use it to unlock it. Wtf? It was a sniper rifle to. So how can you unlock a rifle that everyone has to unlock by picking up off a dead person? I guess they relied on people buying shortcut packages to let normal players unlock it.
  18. http://m.ign.com/articles/2016/05/18/ea-originally-absolutely-rejected-dices-battlefield-1-pitch Props to EA for not being like Activision when it came to Destiny. I hope this game is successful enough to allow DICE more free reign.
  19. They're only doing it because they have to. Eventually Google Fiber is going to be more widely available and they'll have to compete with them or they'll go the way of dail-up.
  20. The new overtime law takes effect 12/1/16. It would require my company to give many of us  $10k raises. I highly doubt that will happen. They'll probably make us all hourly instead.

Wages seem all out of whack to me now. I have a strong feeling that the more people are going to get paid, the less amount of coworkers they'll have to share the work load with. Sure higher pay generally equals more work, but when it takes away all your free time or you have to do double the work and not get double pay, its complete BS. In the same sense, I think about the $15 an hour minimum wage for fast food workers starting in NY. I wouldn't be surprised if most of those fast food places start running on skeleton crews soon. I've already seen articles show casing new "order your own food here kiosks" at fast food places. Thats one less employee.. and other articles about how the person taking your order at a drive thru can be outsourced to another country like customer service is for many companies. Some person in Indonesia will take your order and input it in the system because McDonalds can pay that guy $2 an hour and eliminate another $15 an hour job. All stores that have salary management are either going to have some less managers or have to change their pay structure to make the money come from somewhere. Of course the money has to come out of the employees somehow, because the CEOs with their multi million dollar jobs will never take a pay cut. And the profit paid out to stock holders will never get decreased.

Interesting changes, I heard a little about this yesterday with the Wendy's Kiosk thing they're rolling out. While I feel it's a good change because lets face it, low-end salaried managers get the hose when it comes to working hours. I know while I was still working at Wal-Mart most Assistant Managers pulled up to or even more then 70 hours a week and were only paid for 50 (most of them making below or right at this base line of $47k) this will have sweeping repercussions once implemented. Wal-Mart will most likely do away with their profit-sharing program to cover the costs (if they don't fuck their salaried managers) which means the hourly workers won't get that nice little bonus every 3 months if they make profit (it's a weird program honestly, I never fully understood it but I never complained about the extra $300-$500 it put on my check when it paid out). They'll probably cut down on their already bloated management staff as well (at the Wal-Mart I used to work at (and probably work at again if they hire me back) they have 4 Co-Managers and at least 16 Assistant Managers (you could easily cut that to 2 Co's and half as many Assistants)). How other businesses will handle this is up in the air but I'm pretty sure that's what Wal-Mart would do (I mean they already run their stores with the bare minimum employees needed). Sadly Wal-Mart's pay increase in my area was pretty shitty. My friends say they received a 2% raise when this all went into effect but then again they are some of the best paid hourly employees in the company (when I left I was making $17.80 an hour after 4 years (4 normal raises) and 6 cost of living raises and other minor increases, my friend is currently making $18.12 an hour. They're lucky also because when the company dropped starting wages they rolled all that money into their base wages so they wouldn't loose it). Not so much anymore as I've heard the starting wages dropped to $12 an hour for days and I believe $14 an hour for nights (down from $15 and $17 respectively, this is due to the oil boom in the Bakken dropping off drastically). This is still more then the national average for Wal-Mart employees but it's a general idea of what at least one Wal-Mart is paying.

      DeathscytheX

That's exactly right. A lot of people don't understand that $15 min wage is bad. These are entry level jobs that kids should be doing, not a way of life. Now it's gonna be harder for young people to get their first work experience because no one is going to want to hire a kid for a hugh wage. If everyone could live comfortably making French fries then you'd have less people willing to work for a more skilled occupation that's a value to society. Human drive is why socialism doesn't work and never will. Star Trek economics will never happen. As for the OT rules, yeah if they increase my wage I see longer hours and less help in the future.

  21. Super Mario Bros. is a cinematic masterpiece. I'm stillooking waiting for the sequel promised by the cliffhanger ending.
  22. maybe they've put too many resources into the FF7 remake? As an outsider looking in, the fan base seems to be in line with veteran COD players. Publisher is just trying to make money and knows they have enough loyalists to consume whatever they put out leaving seasoned vet fans yearning for the days of old. I was looking to put this game on my list, but I'll pass now. The next Mass Effect is right around the corner.
