    Its and old school style 3rd person shooter with decent AI, and a cover system. The story is really good.

    This. Bungie stayed professional about losing all the rights to the IP they created. They parted ways without being nasty publicly. But if you read the articles at that time, everyone could see they got screwed hard. Sony swooped in, embraced them and it has paid off. It was a golden opportunity to finally have access to the company that revolutionized FPS. Bungie even had part in PS4's controller design, which means they were given unprecedented access to Sony's stuff in regards to next gen. Bungie felt the love and is returning it while Xbox One and 360 is just a cash cow for them as of right now. It reminds me of Nintendo and Rare back in the 90s. I understand why MS did what they did... but they didn't go about doing it the right way. They were mad that Bungie wanted to go 3rd party, so they intentionally tried to hurt them. The fans have to suffer, but they should be blaming MS, not Bungie... they're too caught up in the fanboyism of it all.

    360 is a great console with a huge library of games. It was MS' PS2 essentially and a lot of people are going to have a hard time letting go without backwards compatibility. PS4 has yet to lose to XB1 in monthly sales and its grinding at them. Having first dibs on BF4 content didn't help, and COD first access definitely isn't going to help... Sony locked up Destiny and Watchdog's exclusive content which has clout as they are new IPs. I can see the battle getting nasty for The Division exclusive content. $75 is a lot. Thats a game and a few XBLA titles if you catch a good sale. You're basically getting a game with your console, and its your choice. Its a good marketing strategy by MS, but it shows the state of the console race. They were greedy as hell last gen because they could be, now that has all changed.

    I deleted my alpha. If they keep your play record, they dont need your console data. They collected a ton of info during the alpha. I don't think any of it transfers over though.

    I went to Gamestop to upgrade my Destiny preorder to the Ghost edition... they said it wasn't in their computer yet, but its on their website. -_-;

      My guess is that it'll be emblems. I hope there are some cool Ghost casings and ship skins tho. I saw some other sites listing the codes and they've been posted on bungie's forums by some users so whatever it is won't seen as exclusive now.

      It'll still be kinda rare. They were given out near the beginning with little to no real gameplay footage. I would say maybe a few thousand out of the millions will have it, and thats split between 4 consoles.

    It's going to be hard to compete with Destiny on any level. I don't think there is a major release in September outside of it. Have you seen how many games come out in October? I doubt that's a coincidence.

    MS really screwed up with how shitty they were to Bungie. I think they could have worked out a better deal to where Bungie still owned Halo but it could only be released on Xbox, rather than stripping it from them completely. Bungie made Xbox if you really think about it. Its almost like Nintendo telling Mario devs to f**k off. After the butt kicking Sony received by 360 last gen, they were pretty smart to bring these guys in and absorb their input. I wouldn't be surprised if Bungie was the first to get a PS4 dev kit out of anyone.
