Just finished Issue #2 of The Star Wars, a lot more in common with A New Hope than than issue #1, but there are still glaring differences.

BF3 was a step back in that aspect. Bad Company 2 had a similar system minus the mobility stat. I was kinda upset that BF3 took that away, and I'm glad to see its back. It will save me a lot of fiddling around with different guns to decide what I like. Damage and Range are more important to me than the other two stats. I'm no crack shot, so accuracy is not a big deal to me unless it drops below the 30 mark. When a weapon is extremely inaccurate or extremely immobile, no amount of damage and rage is worth it to me.

I didn't mind BO2 campaign. I guess since I had some emotional investment in the characters from BO1. Same goes for MW3's campaign. If you didn't start out in MW1, your investment in Soap and Price is detached.

I never played BC1, but from what I've been told the humor was toned down a lot in BC2. The solo campaign was still great, and the story was pretty awesome too. Way better than BF3's campaign that I never finished .

Yeah, I think its more for when you shoot someone up and they are able to take come cover, you can just finish them off before they can heal up. If it was 1 shot, grenades would be pointless. lol They should give us more ammo with it, that's for sure.

Ok. I love the airburst gun. I wrecked some people hiding atop a building, even though they ducked when met with my LMG. I whipped it out and went to town. I got a kill or two plus some assists. There are def some COD idiots playing. A few people were running around with the airbust as their primary. It does seem to do much damage outright. I go hit 3-4 times as I killed on of them. I guess they were trying to "n00b tube" me with it. If it doesn't explode, it doesn't hurt very much. The CODers will probably be playing at launch as well on console. It takes about a month for them to clear out when they realize they cant run and gun their way to a 40-3 k/d and they have to account for bullet drop with sniper rifles. I don't know how much more I'll play of this beta, my computer seems to lock up every time I'm done playing and exit.

I played conquest maps and people were doing that, We'd lose 0-550 and I was the only one capping flags. I think a lot of COD trolls play the beta just so they can try to say how it sucks compared to COD. And in their mind it does because they dont understand the concept of playing the objective.

You aint lying, that thing is super garbage. I had to stop playing as engineer after the 3 or 4 kills I got consisted of me emptying an entire mag and then switching to my pistol to finish them off. I don't think i have any kills with the PDW at all.. maybe one. I think i snuck up behind one player. I got into a map of only 25 people and it was TEDIOUSLY boring... Shanghai is massive on a vertical scale. It was really hard to find anyone, and the few players that were on were mostly in vehicles. This game is going to be pretty terrible on 360 and PS3 if every map is like that. You've gotta have at least 40 players minimum to populate conquest maps. If you buy this game for current gen, you better love the hell out of some Rush, because thats the only mode that will be worth playing since it dictates the area of the maps as the bombs are destroyed.

Haven't you played Diablo or Torchlight? BL2 gives you a nice big vault to horde in, plus a small 4 slot vault that is shared with all your characters you create.

http://www.joystiq.com/2013/10/04/valve-unveils-prototype-steam-box-specs/ I understand the variety thing, but an i3 processor? c'mon! If I was lucky enough to get one. I'd probably go buy an i7. Seeing as a single processor alone costs as much as a PS4, AMD must have given Sony a sweet deal on their massively bulk purchase of their product. AMD components are generally cheaper, but still... Steam Machines are going to be expensive without some type of deal. I'd probably be a bit disappointed with the low end model because an i3 just doesn't cut it. My PC GPU: nVidia GTX 560 Ti CPU: Intel Core i7-2600 3.4ghz 4 cores 8 logical processors RAM: 8GB DDR3-1333 (CPU) Storage: 1TB/6GB Power Supply: 350w EnergyStar

I think PS3 is going to be dropped pretty fast this gen while Xbox does what Sony did last gen, and hold on to 360 support as long as it can when Xbone sales come up shaky. BTW Rockstar released the GTAV Online patch first for PS3 and will do so later for 360 I read today.. Not gonna read to much into it, but normally its the other way around. I'd like to see what Rockstar does next gen.

Oh snap! I was wondering wtf that was. I saw so many people hiding on building tops and taking cover... I'm def gonna try this out tomorrow or Sunday. Yeah the reload rate is very quick... but BF3's was way to slow... They prob need a happy medium. Plus i was able to shoot it on the ground relatively close to me without taking damage, but killing the enemy player. I'm cool with them nerfing it, but please don't bring back the arch trajectory. I was able to perfectly place rocket drop on people from a long distance.

Whats so epic about it, is you look back at all the bosses you fought, the conversations you had with them, and think... we're they really that bad? Yeah, it definitely looks like the best gameplay we've seen from MGS. It looks to me like Red Dead Redemption infused with MGS.. and that is a huge plus. Red Dead's open world was awesome.. add in MGS stealth and other aspects, and its like a superband of gaming. lol. What I've noticed is that baddies drop weapons.. so I am wondering if we are going away from the set weapons inventory to a pick up weapon inventory where you can only have 1 assault rifle and 1 pistol ala Spec Ops: The Line... or maybe a set number of weapons like 3-4 ala Borderlands, except you don't have a weapons cache, you have to decide to either keep or drop.

Thats going to happen. There will be some exploit, or a large group that will boost for each other like crazy. Its just asking for boostmania. People wont have to rely on tact inserting in a room and head shooting each other anymore. lol

Played this on PC... 1. It will look better on PS4 for me... Its amazing the spec jump this was from bf3 to bf4. The game looks like COD on my graphics card. 2. OMG, RPGs are wicked... they'll probably get nerfed. I was RPGing the crap out of people, I couldn't quite get a chopper yet tho. i was prowling on the top of the building trying to scope one out, but everytime I heard one near the building, I peered over the wrong side. 3. I like the LMG the best so far. It has a steady balance of low recoil and damage... I found it interesting that each firearm already had a optic.. I wonder if this is for beta purposes only? 4. I like the new bonuses like "vehicle hit" "flag held" and "last man in squad". I also like it when it informs me I'm the last man. I never have been to observant of the kill feeds and such outside of what I was trying to accomplish. Now its right in front of my face to go hide, or keep a low profile until my squad can spawn. 5. The shoulder button spot is odd at first, but its actually more natural. I got use to it fast, and even though select has always been spot. It beats taking your thumb off the stick to hit select. 6. Moving battle log to select, and knife to stick or optional B (xbox) or O (ps4), its clear they did take some inspiration from COD... and the knife motion is quick like COD which I do not like... the animation is still BF like when you stab someone, but I thought it was unique how it was always an overhead stab unless you actually selected knife.

This generation cycle has been the longest since the term "next gen" was coined as an industry lingo. For Sony, it may also result in the shortest previous gen support life cycle. According to top dog Shuhei Yoshida... 2 years? In an interview with gameindustry.biz, Yoshia said: Yoshida also pointed out that AAA developers were now shifting to PS4 mode, so naturally AAA titles released on PS3 will start to decline. Because of Developer frustration with the PS3's inner workings and its fumbling start, PS2 did keep recieving fresh content for years, and even outsold its bigger brother at times. With dev's raving about the PS4's programing abilities this time around, confidence in making new games for PS4 may kill off support for PS3 faster than its predecessors. Here is a watered down "gist of it" spoiler why there will probably never be a game that takes place in the timeline after MGS4, but it might be touched on in MGS5 and spoil MGS4's ending altogether to anyways. lol

Meh, I really want COD to be good again, and its hard to let go seeing as how much fun I've had in the past, but I really have to pass on this one. IW 2.0 is content on helping the less skilled player level up free of charge. In fact they've added so many ranks, you blow through them so fast that it isn't special anymore, and in fact you feel cheated if you don't rank up twice in a play session. I remember in MW1, once you hit the 30s it was a long stretch between each rank until 40, and then it would take you as long as it took to get form 35-50, to get from 50 to 55. In fact it was so brutally long, I never prestiged in MW1. Props to them for finally getting rid of Deathsteaks, but gaining xp without playing just doesn't do it for me.

Yeah it was basically a watered down version arcadey version of Battlefield. The maps were still pretty big, but there was no prone, and very little of any bullet drop. The auto-spotter scope was insane.. and the magnum rounds option in your load out was basically the stopping power perk from early COD games. I personally thought the Vietnam DLC for BFBC2 was amazing. Hill 137 on Rush took everyone's breath away the first time you advance and see the burning hill of ash. Its one of my favorite maps of all time. It would be a stretch with Battlefront now in their line up, but it might also be good. I'd rather see a 3 game roation between BF, BFBC, and SWBF.
