  1. Yeah if you have 4-5 friends, and hold down the bottom of the boat, the other team gets so confused, because they all use the same tactics... eventually after camping in their usual spots they get bored and figure it out. Then rage ensues because they cant get to us through all the shotguns and rockets.. trophy takes care of nades, we all rock tac mask too for flashbangs . Since everyone votes for the map twice, at the start of the next round the other team would try to rush down there before we got there, but to no avail. XD
  2. Id always place my spawn beacon by a capped flag as a back up to defend it or recap it later while doing something else. I played Shotgun recon so I never was in the same place for very long.
  3. Screw EOD bot... what a pain in the ass that assignment was to get a kill with it. That and gunmaster. UGH. Recon was one of my favorites because of the recon beacon. With C4 its probably what I'll be playing the most of. lol
  4. Hijacked became fun when me and my whole team hid in the underside of the boat with shotguns, shock charges, MM scanners, and trophy systems. Now that was fun. I also liked hiding on the top floor with 2 shock charges a trophy and guardian on my score streak. I'd piss so many people off when I had scavenger too and keep getting more shock charges. Opponents would make it their personal vendetta to get me. I had AGR as my final streak and unleash it. Your right though. Demo use to be my favorite game and they ruined it. I played TDM and 3 way on BOII.
  5. http://blogs.battlefield.com/2013/08/road-to-bf4-field-upgrades/?utm_campaign=bf-social-us-socom-fb-bf-social-na-socom-fb-rtbf-081513&utm_source=fb&utm_medium=social&sourceid=bf-social-us-socom-fb-bf-social-na-socom-fb-rtbf-081513 Some pretty good info on the solider specs, I like the advance spotting and quick unspot. Fast repair and medkit upgrade I can see myself using a lot.
  6. I love COD's match making system prior to BOII. That was the worst ever with the wigging out on team selection. You're friends are always on your team, and maps are picked fast. I don't mind the map selection being out of my hands as long as all the maps are good. When they introduced voting though, that pissed me off... I they didn't let you vote for the previous map, I'd be cool with it... but damn I got sick of Hijacked really fast.
  7. I just read they wont answer about dedicated servers... no thanks. Lag glitchers still have a paradise to flock in.
  8. Its like that here... Half the city is owned by Mediacom, and the other have is owned by Comcast. You never have a choice between the two because they don't operate in each others territory. Its BS.
  9. After watching some clips on youtube. I want to watch it now. lol
  10. Check out the Mutiplayer trailer for COD: Ghost How Perks will work: http://kotaku.com/he...osts-1138263278 Build your squad http://kotaku.com/th...with-1138907835 (You can gain xp without playing? talk about boosting with friends...) Killstreaks are back http://kotaku.com/ch...th-c-1138470438. I wish they would have stayed with Treyarch's score streaks, I'm glad deathstreaks are gone though, I am also glad that UAV's are ground based. I hate UAV whores and its the main reason I've always used the stealth package of perks. It seems they borrowed a crap ton from Battlefield and Treyarch. The guns always look like they kill like they did in MW2, but I'm not falling for that anymore. I don't see anything that resembles stopping power on the perk chart either. 12. http://www.ancientclan.com/statuses/user/33-strider-hiryu/?status_id=558 Strider has watched them. Sounds like the last one was a mind fuck. lol
  13. Well COD's match making on Xbox has been a lot more amazing than PS in all honesty. LOL. I did see that PS4 was beating even PC on a BF3 facebook poll.
  14. I got Mediacom, I get between 2.0 and 2.30 every time i speed test. lol 13mbps download, its the basic plan.
  15. If MS would have not had "always on" Kinect from the start and explained that the DRM would benefit those that publish their own content on Xbox one by protecting their intellectual property, they would have come out a lot better. Instead they told people to screw off if you had a bad internet connection, and then came back with a figurative "We're sorry". It definitely makes them look desperate. I agree that completely digital is going to happen in the future, and I'm for that. Always online and always on isn't the answer for the future, but if you're going to try it, you can't bully a customer base into liking it as they attempted to do. As I've said, if Steam can function offline, then so can any console that has DRM. The answer was right in front of them, they could have at least tried to sell it like Steam even if it was more draconian. MS should fire their entire Xbox PR division, this is a marketing nightmare. First impressions are king, and a lot of people who have not been following closely are still going by word of mouth that always on/online is still a feature.
  16. I've heard a lot of great things about it. I might start it up on netflix. They just added Season 5.
  17. Microsoft forgot that you cant just force a product a limited audience wants on your entire customer base. I don't want a kinect, I'd rather pay $100 less. The only reason they are changing all of this stuff before it comes out is sales numbers. There is no other explanation. If they're preorder numbers were solid, they would have continued with the "screw the customer" attitude. And to add to the clusterf*ck: http://kotaku.com/xbox-live-family-subscriptions-convert-to-individual-ac-1099325395
  18. According to an interview posted by IGN today, Microsoft has yet again flip flopped on another one of its stances. Previously, Xbox One required Kinect to be on at all times for the console to function. This is no longer the case according to Marc Whitten of Microsoft: One has to wonder if preorder numbers are the reasoning for this circus. Since June, Microsoft has taken off its DRM along with a slew of features, added some of the features back, overclocked the GPU, and now this. How does this effect developers? Especially ones that have coded their game confident that Kinect would be on at all times. This has to cause some headache, and its unclear if MS will ask them to make changes to their games near the end of development cycles. This definitely has the potential to get ugly after consoles launch. The first game that requires Kinect to play could cause the blame game between devs and MS. In the midst of walking back for irate gaming, its possible that Microsoft could also cause a strain on his developer relationships early on.
