    I'm def going to have to shake off the rust on my chopper piloting... all those buildings are def going to require more precision in piloting. I hope they keep it the same as BF3. I couldn't pilot choppers until BF3.

    If you never played Bayonetta, download the demo if its still in the PS store This FF doesn't seen quite as absurd, but it def look like it had some inspiration.

    I've read multiple sources like this http://playstationgang.com/battlefield-4-on-ps4-leaked-details-reveal-64-player-maps-3-factions-and-more/ And they all confirm that the next gen consoles will feature 64 player maps! They're streaming the alpha on battlefield.com right now. Its looking pretty great. They took down a sky scraper and the dust from it engulfed half the map. Its been lingering for at least the past 5 minutes causing all kinds of visibility issues for air support.

    It looks like the FF series is turning away from its turn based origins and elected to go for a more bayonetta-like fight engine. It looks like a blast! Cinematic Trailer Gameplay footage . I never have been a fan of turn based RPG games... I don't like waiting to be hit. KOTOR was the only game I was ever able to tolerate because of its story and it was semi action.     I use to not care about highest graphical settings until BF3 . I can already tell BF4 will require yet another graphics card upgrade, and for me its just worth buying the PS4 and playing it on that, on top of other games that wont be seeing PC like Destiny. Is that a Turbografx 16 next to your SNES?! Wireless Gamecube Wavebird controller FTW!

    Seriously? Its pointless to watch netflix on 360. The PS3 and PC doesnt do this... instead you might have a few seconds of reduced quality in picture, but it fixes itself pretty quickly. If X1 has this same issue its even more of a joke than it has become. Although you need PS+ to play online games, the netflix portion will still be free unlike XBL. And yes. PC gaming is great, but too expensive for me... I'm really hoping Battlefield 4 will have 64 player battles on PS4... I cant afford to upgrade my graphics card again and get a PS4. lol... I'm already dreading finishing top 5 in gun master to unlock a weapon... in BF3 that was my crowning personal achievement and the most stressful thing I've ever done in a game...

    . I loved inFAMOUS 1. You had tremendous power, but you were still highly vulnerable to gunfire making the game challenging despite the devastation you could impose on large masses of enemies. I never did get to play 2... but I will be picking this game up for sure.

    Check out the video posted by Bungie today. The Thank You video to the fans that supported them at Gamescom has some never before seen footage of the game. Pay close attention and you might see a few seconds of what is presumably Mars.Once again, Bungie asserts its closer relationship to Sony, "Best Game on Sony Playstation 4" Award?     This past gen was the longest ever... I see this generation being just as long, maybe longer... cost and development for a new machine is just too expensive now. Those 4 year generations are long gone IMO. Is it really that hard to just keep your old console if you still want to play those games? The SNES/N64/Gamecube/Wii/Wii U doesn't play NES games unless you buy them through a remake cartridge or digital download . The Saturn/Dreamcast didn't play Genesis games... really I think we all got a little spoiled because the PS2 played PS1 games, and that was the extent of true backwards compatibility (not counting the multiple gameboys). The 1st model PS3 did, but after that it was phased out, and the 360 half assed their BC. The emulation costs money, and both company subsidize the price of their machines in the first place to make them "affordable" to the public. Its probably saving them a bit of money on the losses by excluding it. With as many game studios that have had to close shop in the last few years, Its safe to say the industry is having to rethink its business models. What Microsoft is doing is bad for gaming yes. But no backwards compatibility isn't really that big of an issue seeing as it has not been a industry standard... Plus trading in your console towards the new one only gets you around $40-90 when you paid $300-500 for it originally... that's not a lot of store credit towards the new one. That being said. the PS3 is an awesome blu-ray player, and it handles Netflix a lot better than 360. Unless they've fixed it. 360 always buffered when internet speed dipped or rose, and the fast foward/rewind options were imprecise.
