Electronic Arts has signed a deal with Walt Disney to be the the exclusive publisher of Star Wars games. The deal comes off the heels of Disney's decision to shut down LucasArts. Both DICE and Visceral will make new Star Wars games, while BioWare will continue to produce titles for the genre. EA refused to comment if they would pick up Star Wars 1313 or First Assault which were all but dead projects with the former studio closing shop, but this move should excite fans with the possibility of a Star Wars themed Battlefield and the possibility of KOTOR3. Checkout Kotaku for more: http://kotaku.com/ea...games-493178983. I personally would love to see a KOTOR 3 done on the Mass Effect engine. Click here to view the article

The balancing teams is by far the worst in COD history. I use to be the biggest proponent for the COD Lobby system until this go around. I dunno what they did, and why they have yet to fix that crap.

I haven't played much of any GTA games that werent top down. lol. This will be my first.. I've only watched people play San Andreas.. Rock Star games are a bit different in the empty building aspect I think... at least judging from Red Dead Redemption there were more buildings to go into vs. the redundant ones... this could also have been the case for me because it was more outdoors wild west type were towns where few and far between. The whole underwater aspect intrigues me though.

Eh.. the Strike missions on COD:BO2 much like the campaign were dull. There is so much to do in GTA, I'm sure this will work out alot better. Especially since you can swap out at will with no repercussions. After a few strike missions I got bored with them and skipped them all. They weren't done very well.

The games are fun to play in person with a friend I guess.. but for me they lose luster so fast. The last MK's story mode was frustratingly awesome. Some of the fights you had to endure where absurdly difficult.. the only advantage was that it made you proficient with that character eventually... but oddly enough Shang Tsung was not one of those in the story mode, so during the challenge tower they wanted you to use him to fight Baraka, Melina, Kintaro, and Shao Khan in one life bar.. I gave up after that because in IMO Shang Tsung was one of the worst characters in the game. Once I unlocked everything in the Krypt, the game got boring to me and I quit playing it.... I'm afraid Fighting games have gone the way of racing games for me. They get stale fast.

The problem is the map voting. You'll always play Hijacked and Grind twice because of idiots. They should never allow the same map twice. COD4, the kill streaks were awesome. you only had a 3-5-7. UAV, Air Strike, and Chopper... you couldn't control the air strike path. it was completely random, and the chopper was hit or miss where it flew around on the map. They were great to get, and when luck shined on you it was more rewarding. The hit detection isn't the issue. its the power of the guns. They are so weak it takes half a mag to kill anyone in BO2 unless you're using a shotgun close to med range. In COD4 and MW2 there was a perk called Stopping power that made your gun kill anyone with 2-3 bullets. basically 1-2 hit markers killed anyone. 1 M16 burst killed a person across the map. It was your fault for being out the open. To counter this there was a perk in the same slot as stopping power call juggernaut (back then there were no greed wildcards). IMO it was more overpowered... with stopping power it was harder to kill someone with juggernaut than it was to kill someone without, without stopping power.. so if you didn't have stopping power and you shot at someone with jugs you were really screwed... but I'd welcome all that back over the absurd killsteaks of MW2. BUT with all the money made off COD they could go to a server base system... the only advantage of the host system they use now is that the game works forever until everyone stops playing it... rather than the company deciding paying for the servers isn't worth it anymore after a few years. With COD it doesnt matter, because they stop supporting the game that came out 2 issues after the newest... if you tried to play COD4 now, its full of cheaters glitching into the map where they can shoot you and you cant hit them. or World at War where they can call in attack dogs at the start of the match with zero kills... since support dies off that fast, you might as well use servers.

I'm getting a console for Destiny alone As much as I liked BO2. as soon as my friends stopped playing, so did I. Its not one of thoes games i enjoy playing my myself like I use to. I guess COD is a good example as to why catering to the internet fan's demands are bad for a game. I was never for getting rid of Stopping Power unless the guns were brought to that level of damage without it. COD is not a game for BF style gun play. Maps and Guns need to be the focus rather than killstreaks and absurd attachments and equipment. I'm fine with keeping BO2's level progression and unlocks. But the campable maps need to be a thing of the past. We need more maps like Countdown, Creek, Pipeline, and Downpour.

http://kotaku.com/ive-seen-grand-theft-auto-v-this-ones-radically-diff-487200782 It seems like they borrowed some things from Saints Row the Third... which isn't a bad thing by any means. I'll probably pick this up for PC if it comes out for PC... they're being shaky on that answer... if not I'll wait til the new consoles.... otherwise I won't get it at all.

Here is the teaser trailer for COD: Ghosts... notice something about the next installment by Infinity Ward? Modern Warfare is mysteriously missing? Not surprising seeing how horrible MW3 was. It was easily the worst game in the franchise's history. While the trailer shows nothing about the game, it is clear that this game will not be related to the MW line. Infinity Ward's executive producer Mark Rubin had this to say: We will get our first look at the next generation of COD at the May 21st unveiling of the new Xbox console....I'm wondering if the major renovations Treyarch did to the COD's ranking systems and unlocks had IW worried that they would lose their spot as studio that makes the better COD games... which they already had by Black Ops I IMO. Hopefully it's a wake-up call because MW3 was a shit sandwich. Back off the insanely overly powerful killstreaks that are relatively easy to obtain and refocus on the gun play that made COD4 so great. Treyarch has great concepts, but their guns are very lacking. BO2 they were more balanced but still underpowered as a whole. I never thought I'd say this, but the Stopping Power and Juggernaut perks need to come back. Click here to view the article

Check out the newest trailer for GTA V for a closer look at the game's three protagonists: Michael, Franklin and Trevor. GTA V is set to be the largest world that Rockstar has ever created. The company boasts that both the world maps of Red Dead Redemption and Grand Theft Auto IV would fit inside GTA V... that is MASSIVE. Grand Theft Auto V will be out September 17th 2013... being so close to the initial launch of the next generation, one has to question the reason behind the delayed release that was originally suppose to happen during Q2 of this year. SG4 over the HTC One Bigger screen, works with gloves, those new air gesture things - Marginally larger by .3 inches, the rest is gimmicky. Much higher resolution cam - Pixels aren't everything, its horrid in low light. Gizmodo ran a comparison on 5 different phones, it wasn't the best. Higher version of Android out of the box -doesn't really matter unless you are a rooter. Both phones have their own skin over android Multiwindow tasking - HTC One does this, perhaps in a different fashion. I can mutlitask between 9 windows. Faster chipset - marginally Storage you can expand - who needs more than 64 gigs on their phone? HTC One has you covered. Not counting apps, HTC syncs and stores all of your stuff on its own iCloud like server. Can replace your battery for a higher capacity one - Meh, overrated feature. The vast majority of people don't carry an extra battery on them everywhere they go. My HTC one can go almost 2 days with my standard level of usage. Thinner, lighter and smaller - plastic, less durable, marginally different in dimensions HTC One Dimensions 137.4 mm (5.41 in) H 68.2 mm (2.69 in) W 9.3 mm (0.37 in) D (max) 4 mm (0.16 in) D (min) Weight 143 g (5.0 oz) Galaxy S4 Dimensions 136.6 mm (5.38 in) H 69.8 mm (2.75 in) W 7.9 mm (0.31 in) D Weight 130 g (4.6 oz) A thermometer, barometer and what not - Weather app... HTC One over SG4 Front speaker, FM - Correction, two front speakers and they are amazing. I haven't been this impressed with phone audio quality since my Blackberry 8900. FM? Meh again.. still requires the earphones for antenna as all phones that have this feature. iHeartRadio FTW. Better looking aluminum body - More durable body at that. Optical image stabilizer - I guess i just don't get too excited about cameras... but the instantaneous shutter compared to what i dealt with on iphone is pretty amazing.

I dunno. I enjoyed my time with blackberry, but I'm done with them... the Z10 looks pretty neat, but I really haven't heard much hype for them as the HTC One and S4. If its still running their archaic style OS, then thats probably the reason. I dunno what types of upgrades they have applied to their OS. The customization of android right now offers the best personalized experience.

Yeah they make the manufacturers rebrand their phones for them... i remember how jealous I was when they got the Blackberry Storm back in the day with the "click-able touchscreen"
