  1. Wow, that looks pretty epic. The new powers look neat.
  2. The second game was a different story that took place five years after the first. The story was far less epic, and the endings were lackluster. The most enjoyment I got out of it was meeting up with NPC's from the previous game. They also added an interesting element to where decisions you made hoping to help or hurt someone didn't always turn out how you intended. (For instance, you give a beggar money, and as he turns the corner and gets mugged because your deed was seen by an opportunist). While some of the game play elements were cool, the story and the overall feel just wasn't there. This is because BioWare the maker of the 1st game handed the project over to Obsidian. The only other notable game Obsidian has made outside of Neverwinter Nights is Fallout: New Vegas. Its possible that all these cut out parts were due to a lack of time, trying to do too much at once and missing budget, or they planned the common practice of charging for "expansions" that are already locked on the disc... and never got around to it. For me the first one tugged at me emotionally, I felt a connection with all my NPCs, and even NPCs that were a part of side quests at times. That was severely lacking for me in KOTOR 2. I'd go as far as saying KOTOR 1 is the best Star Wars Story there is.
  3. Sadly you get what you pay for. My friend has those exact same issues with T-Mobile. They're more expensive but they work 95-98% of the time, inside and outside. Until they get some more serious competitors, I don't see prices going down anytime soon.
  4. Single Player Teaser Trailer! This post has been promoted to an article
  5. God of War: Ascension will hit shelves March 14th on Playstation 3! Single Player Teaser Trailer!
  6. I loved Army of Hades, because max it lasted a good bit for the magic it costs you. I only used it on mini bosses that annoyed me, otherwise it was Poseidon's rage FTW. Atlas Quake and Army of Sparta are my other two favorites. Medusa's/Euryale's Gaze was useless to me. I didn't have time to turn people into stone while I was savagely destorying everyone in my path.
  7. LOL. This is an outrage! If they can clone Neanderthals, they can clone Dinosaurs dammit! Since Neanderthals were out hunted into extinction by the cro-magnon, I highly doubt there will be a rise up.... but I'd leave it to Sci-Fi to ignore history and scientific fact to make a B movie.
  8. Yeah I did that too. LOL I did like the Cestus... every time a boss let me get close enough, I'd bash them to pieces with it. Plus it worked great when you got overwhelmed by larger mobs of enemies.
  9. Nah, Could be a little inspiration. Since God of War, just about every type of game in this genera has stolen from the series. The single player needed a nice revamp before it got stale. In previous games the weapons outside the Blades of Chaos couldn't compare... Sword of Zeus was kinda cool, but the Blades were just so much better. It looks to me that you'll just have a secondary that you've stolen and you can interchange them out as you see fit when you encounter certain enemies who's weapon you like. Or maybe instead of 3 fixed secondary weapons you find throughout the game, you'll just have 3 slots to interchange giving you a variety of weapons. This would be my preferred method. There is always that one weapon you don't want to give up for another, and this would allow you to keep it while experimenting with others without regretting swapping them out. It would also conform with the button layout of the previous games.
  10. *cuts Godgrave's posts back to down 500* Mwahahahaha!!!!
  11. Like politics, the cell phone industry has become a two party system, with a bunch of other smaller companies here and there. AT&T and Verizon dominate the markets, and because of this, us the consumer gets screwed. They are like Coke and Pepsi with their pricing, and since they have the more reliable networks, they had nothing to lose by taking away unlimited data and screwing everyone with grandfathered plans. Everyone I've known with Boost Mobile, T-Mobile, Sprint, and Cellular South (now called C-Spire) has had some kind of basic issue with their phone service.
  12. Hmm that is interesting... I remember when I played it, how I wandered around the Jedi Academy trying to access the parts from KOTOR1, but they were blocked off. Grr I hate when sequel games do that.
  13. KOTOR 1 was so much better than KOTOR 2 IMO. Everyone I know that got into Old Republic have already dropped it. If I had time I'd try it out, but I just dont. I wish BioWare would make a KOTOR with the Mass Effect engine.
  14. When I need to slow myself down I normally put on some cruising music.. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-u0GJdNu1Ds
  15. Oh yeah http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3I1ggW3qak4 I always gotta make sure im looking down at the speedometer more frequently to make sure I'm not overdoing it.
  16. I just started using the M27, and after throwing the fore grip and fast mag on it, I'm pretty pleased. It definitely turns into a killing machine... Once I get FMJ's I'll probably ditch the fast mag, but I'll end up using primary gunfighter when I get extended mag so I can use all 3. I'm shying away from any optics... for some reason I tend to ball out with iron sights in Treyarch CODs. I hate being EMP grenaded and the dot goes down on my sight. FYI, like I texted you yesterday the heat maps are in Elite, but I think the webpage elite is the best. I havent really checked the console app, but the webpage lets you view a animated layout of the map as you're kills progress during the match. Just go to a recent match and hit "View Heat Map" Here are some of mine: Aftermath Plaza Raid
  17. You haven't watched Falling Skies?!!!!!!!! Its probably one of the best damn Sci-Fi series out there even though the first two seasons are like 8-10 episodes. I think TNT is being overly cautious that no one wants to watch a sci-fi series... or maybe Spielberg doesn't have time to make more than that for a season. The end of last season had an epic cliffhanger. I cant wait for Season 3. I just looked it up. Season 3 is 10 episodes as well... I'm still looking forward to it tough. lol
  18. There are plenty of videos of game play, but I cant find the one I originally saw a few months back. Some of the game play gets intense with what seemed to be endless Xenomorphs pouring out the walls, plus a massive one that's bigger than the queen. I think I'll end up getting it.
  19. Thats a pretty interesting concept. I wonder what would happen if the game takes off and the show fails.
  20. Oh, they're still buried deep within the gallery.
  21. LMAO!!! But you had to do it, the game was impossible otherwise!!
  22. I think that was the issue with any Sports game during that era.. the poor controls due to the limited technology made some of these games so ridiculously hard that sometimes it actually required a little bit of luck to win. I think that is why in a lot of these games there was one tactic that worked flawlessly to where you could win easily if you found out how to exploit it. I remember in Joe Montana's Sports Talk Football, on offense you could run the halfback pass and it would result it a bomb to the endzone for a TD every time. Then on defense you could run the punt block on every down and you would stop them easily, even block the punt great percentage of the time. The would result in football scores of 109-0 .
