Well the GTA thing is actually a glitch for the game only. I guess it has yet to be resolved. I've never been disconnected on XBL random, its probably your actual internet connection.

Just don't buy a used/refurbished one. My friends used 360 is a POS, and another friend of mine purchased a refurb PS3 and it blew out on him within a month. Cheaper is not always better. They learned the hard way. Anyways, a surprise for 360 owners indeed. A good move on Square's part to expand the fanbase, while its a great move for MS to expand the genre offerings.

Ok, everyone is going to post what they are most interested in. Quite frankly, I'm sick if every good thread being degraded to console vs. console, game vs. game, market vs. market debate. Indeed, They will have to fine tune PSN as it is because even the new shop is pretty sluggish. I doubt Quore is going to bring in enough money to keep running the network for free at a respectable pace. They might as well make a premium service.

It has everything to do with the peoples gaming habits. The PSP is the number one selling console in Japan right now. It outsells even the Wii. The market is different because of tastes and difference in culture. Like I said its American gaming, American advertisement. The original Xbox did horrid in Japan, and now the 360. If it really was the advertisement, you'd think they would have learned from the last console. Japan isn't into sports games or FPS for the most part. They're big on puzzle games, RPGs, and some really weird stuff . Likewise, there are many games that we do not see over here for Wii and PS3 because they wouldn't sell in the US, there is just no appeal. Its not like we've never seen Japanese consoles that failed in the US.

I highly doubt that. It seems to be a first party developed game. Even if that's not the case, as with MGS4, the 360 will not have the capacity to run the game, disc-wise, nor processing wise. This is pretty much the tactic sony is going to have to use to keep its exclusives. Games too large to port to competitors. Even with 360's new ability to burn to HD, it will be very impractical. It would take around 5-7 360 discs to fill up one PS3 blu-ray disc. You might see it on the PC though, pending on the developer. It sounds so similar to Battlefield 2 it could be EA/Dice. Edit: Nope its Zipper Interactive. 1st Party. No chance of being anywhere but PS3.

Yeah the 360 market in Japan is pretty abysmal. There is a huge gap between American Gaming and Japanese gaming in many aspects. The 360 just isn't appealing to them in what it has to offer. It really wouldn't be worth producing it if they weren't even going to sell a million copies.

Israel could fuck up anyone in the middle east, That's why everyone talks big but does nothing. They could completely annihilate the Palestinians and push them out of the country all together if they knew there would be no repercussions. If Iran attaked Israel, Iran would be burned to the ground pretty much. They only reason this doesn't happen is because of all the Superpowers, and their interest in oil. There would be a very severe energy crisis of the middle east went into full blown war. WWI is the reason the Middle East is the way it is. After it was all said and done, a bunch of guys took a ruler and pencil and drew lines all over Mesopotamia and you have what we see on the map today. There were so many secret agreements about who would get what between so many countries on both sides when the war was won, this was the final solution to it. Total disregard for culture and ethnicity. Iraq shouldn't even exist. The Ottoman Empire should have been allowed to collapse on itself as it eventually would have and that way countries would have formed naturally out of it.
