And with that, my point is made further. whether it has ever happened or not is up to the individual. I tend to favor being able to understand what's being said rather than having to read about it. Yes some of the VA's are horrible, but that goes for both sides of the fence. Being a casual anime viewer, I guess I don't really grasp the concept of getting bent out of shape over a character's voice, especially when its not even a bad voice... its just a different pitch from the original. When I see griping, I do tend to look around youtube to listen to the subbed versions out of pure curiosity.

That seems to be the trend. Just about every girl I know that went to see it, fell in love with Bumblebee. -

I give it a 9/10 becuse im a fan but they definitly could have made this better. The use of the camera was probably done for the reason that they just couldn't figure out how to sequence the battles without it looking completely unnatural and unrealistic, (and noticeably CG). Its a cutting corners technique alot of sci-fi films use. -
I saw it but it didn't have a name or anything, it just said JJ Abrams was working on it. I looked it up and saw it was a giant monster movie and just kinda lost interest. I don't get excited about giant monster movies unless its non-American Godzilla.

There's probably more that angered me but I can't think of anything else right now. Maybe if I see it again I'll find more and come back to add some more complaints about the movie. Well while you are entitle to your opinion: -

I'm going to see it again! The movie is seriously a dream come true for all transformer fans. I haven't seen one bad review from a non-critic. I've seen a few from critics but reading them plainly show that they never watched an episode of the cartoon. Critic reviews have been at opposite sides of the spectrum because of this. They either rate it almost perfect or give it a horrid review because they just don't get it. Basically because the story wasn't dumbed down for the non-fans (THANK GOD). It's been a very long long time since I have been this impressed with a movie. I am happy they didn't let this become a huge let down. We were all buzzing after the movie like "OMG that was off the CHAIN!" I'm definitely pumped about the DVD now, but you have GOT to see it on the big screen. I think the thing that made me the most happy was the fact that they kept all the original names and Michael Bay incorporated the original transformation sound into the new sound, it adds a really nice nostalgic touch. Even though he altered the original look and color schemes of the transformers themselves it was to a point where they looked awesome and you could still name them off the bat before they are introduced. I heard he took a lot of heat for changing Bumblebee from a Beetle to a Camaro, and he tossed in a subtle response to that, so keep an eye out for it. X'D -

Officially it comes out today on th 3rd... i guess the bumped it up a day. But special showings too place at 8 last night. They did the same for Pirates. They take a theater and put it on most of its screens, Its not really advertised but some how everyone knows about it. For us, they took 14 of the 16 screens for the special showing. That is pretty funny because the posters they were giving out also says the 4th, the trailer said the 4th, but the commercials say the 3rd. -
HOLY CRAP! I just saw the greatest movie the universe has ever conceived. I seriously feel like I am 5 years old again. Movies these days can be so disappointing. Let’s face it, there hasn’t been a year like this in a long time for the movie industry. I guess with box office numbers down Hollywood decided to do something about it. I won’t lie. Deep in my heart I knew there was a chance that this movie was going to be a let down. But it being TRANSFORMERS and the fact that Steven Spielberg’s name was tagged on it, I believed so hard that this movie was going to be fantastical… It was. The characters, the story, the action, and some of the original voice actors from the 80’s cartoon made the big screen adaptation so perfect, it was unbelievable. I sat in my chair mesmerized for two and a half hours. I knew from the first transformation that this movie was something special. It surpassed my expectations, and left me with a feel-good mood as going to the theater had been on my mind all day at work. I really didn’t think about much else. There are few things I get this excited about, and fewer things I find magical. This was one of them. Even if you’ve never seen an episode of the cartoon or know the story, this movie is still awesome. The audience was very much into the film, cheering, gasping, laughing, it was truly amazing. This is the must see film of the DECADE. So go see it. In short, lots of humor, lots of action, f*cking awesome. in case you are curious here are the list of transformers

Because the PS2 couldn't handle the sheer amount of enemies on the screen. Regular DW is ridiculous enough but this is like x5. Like i said, I took out 1500 suits... in DW you were lucky to take out 500 people in a single mission.

Indeed. It looks a lot better during gameplay but its still not the best. The models and environment are lame, but the attack effects are pretty sweet.

There is space fighting http://media.ps3.ign.com/media/873/873402/img_4636667.html http://media.ps3.ign.com/media/873/873402/img_4636662.html http://media.ps3.ign.com/media/873/873402/img_4552703.html http://media.ps3.ign.com/media/873/873402/img_4531453.html http://media.ps3.ign.com/media/873/873402/img_4531454.html I wanted to see how it would have worked, because this would be a first for their DW engine. Unlike most of the PS3 demo's there were no unlockables for completing the only available mission. You'd think they'd unlock one or two more mobile suits or another mission or something. I guess they just wanted to be bastards about it.

I kinda wish they would have included a Zero G mission. i would've liked to see if the game play was any different seeing as you weren't walking around. I guess that would have made too much sense though.

Ok, It came available on the PSN today so I downloaded it to see what it was all about. Keep in mind that I have played the PS2 dynasty warriors and one of them on 360. In my opinion, They are mediocre hack and slash games that have a basic and redundant combat system that stays the same for every game. There has been no attempt to update the game with a more advance fighting system... at least put some combo's in there or something. Anyways. I boot it up and as with most demo's you can only select the main mode of play. You can actually choose between the english and japanese VAs. Some planet is on a collision course with earth (surprise), and you go to investigate what the cause of this is. The only selectable character is Heero Yuy/Wing Zero, and even more funny is that G-Gundam's own Master Asia is teaming up with you. (LMAO, oh I laughed so hard). Heero has the personality that he had at the begining of Gundam Wing, and Listening to them attempt dialog between each other is simply priceless, I can see the hardcore fanbase cringing already. There are plenty of characters that I encountered... being that I am not a gundam fanatic I didn't recognize most, there seemed to be overwhelmingly more AU characters than UC. I met Zechs who was on the opposing side, piloting the Epyon. The boss of the stage turned out to be a Mobile Doll... how lame. Anyways, Gameplay is the same redundant hack and slash sadly. They spiced it up very little. You can thrust foward, boost up, and a combination of them both will let you fly forward for a few seconds until you overheat and are forced to walk (Wing Zero didn't even transform in flight), until you cool down. The Musou special is named something else and for Wing Zero is large blast from the buster cannon which you can directionally sweep across a mass of mobile suits or just focus it on one target if you like. He had a total of three combos as with all DW games, one just consisted of a bush of slashes with the beam saber, the next had more the same but was a bit more powerful, and the last ends with the buster cannon being separated and Heero letting off 4 blasts in cardinal directions. The level was long, I killed over 1500 mobile suits. It was fun, because it was the first level, but im sure after playing more of the same it would get old fast just like any other DW game. As I could already tell from the mission's opening moments, the story wasn't gonna keep the game going. So in short, once again this is just another game that is more of a fan's novelty collection rather than a top notch quality game. I doubt Koei will improve the game in anyway as it seems they are content with their lame engine, and have been for the past decade. Sad really.

I kinda wish I had your predicament. I hate making a big deal out of birthdays... to me, its just another day in life. Its not a holiday or some special event. You're not born every time on that day. It only happened once. I hate when people want to sing the b-day song to me, and its strictly forbidden to do so. And then people get mad that I don't care about my b-day. sheesh.

Indeed, it is made by the creators of Aeon Flux. It had a run on AS a few years ago, and I thought it was an excellent series. -
Thats taking it a bit far.

Dynasty Warriors is a redundant game as it is. They severely need to upate their engine before proceeding to make new games.
